  1. I play FoM as well. It's a fun game to me, at least. Apparently there's a big update coming up soon, so I'm waiting on that.
  2. You can still use mobile payment (along with a variety of other forms of payment via super rewards). If all you can do is use mobile payment, you could could always buy silver and redeem them for premium time in-game. I believe that's still possible?
  3. Nice story .... look forward to reading more.
  4. Anyone got any screens of the progress so far? Seems like a very interesting project. When I go premium again I'll have to be sure to take a sail down there to check it out.
  5. I have seen Oracle on the GV before I moved to Freedom. He was in local chat. He was very friendly.
  6. The academy taught me a lot while I spent my time there and even provided me with a lot of extra tools that I needed. It's full of great people and it's a great addition to an already wonderful community.
  7. Smithing

Wow, that is one killer forge!!
  8. When I embark on a cart or boat I see a FPS drop for about 10 to 20 seconds and then it goes away. I usually just stand still for the first 10 seconds when I embark on my boat until my system stabilizes. I have a pretty decent video card though, so what could be happening is your FPS is dropping to an unplayable rate and takes a few minutes to re-stabilize. Have you tried lowering the settings and seeing if that's helped? What's your FPS when this slowdown occurs? You can see this by pressing F4 right before boarding the boat, and leaving the menu up. And also, what video card are you using?
  9. Premium is worth it. It's pretty cheap as well. All your skills can go up to 99.x and the higher your skills the more you can do. For example, you can't build stone houses until your masonry skill is 30 (unobtainable on GV). That's just one of many examples. I never regretted going premium; to me it was worth every penny.
  10. Minecraft is a great game. Just bought it a few days ago. It runs on Linux too, which is a plus. Been playing Wurm a lot this week. I'll get around to Minecraft eventually, though.
  11. Go check your computer's Java Control Panel and see if you can find anything relating to that. How to view Java Control panel [if using Windows (Taken from Sun's official website)] 1 Click Start 2 Select Settings 3 Select Control Panel 4 Double click the Java icon If all else fails you can always uninstall Java and then reinstall it and see if that fixes your problem.
  12. Are you using the correct version of Java? Java SE 6? Go here: http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp Make sure you have Java SE 6, Update 21. Also, this may be a silly question, but are you sure you're connected to the Internet when you launch the application? Do you have something like a firewall or virus protection program blocking Java and Wurm's access to the Internet? Edit: Darn, beat me to it. What he said. ^^
  13. Try right clicking your desktop and then select "Change Desktop Background." Then go to the tab labeled "Visual Effects" and select "None."
