  1. at the start of the server one of the largest reason to travel around the land is to look for animals, when animals like horses, cows, bisons and bulls dry up there's only hunters and new players roaming the land, so new rarer materials can and should pop up over the land, maybe meteorite? An eventmessage and a starfall at night, the ore from the meteorite can be a rare metal for an extrashiny armor or weapon. a rare herb sprouting somewhere that can be used in cooking that raises a random skill a bit. Well there's loads of stuff that can randomly spawn and a protocol should be in place for it to spawn in wilderness as to give everyone the same chance
  2. Ron jeremys Loveshack, The imperial shaft and I'm so sorry! is that slurs? I admit it's poking fun at people, and that it's in bad taste of me, i can change them if you so please
  3. Ok first off, this might be a hijacking of Archaegeos thread, if it's ok we can keep it here. A bit of clarifications on roles, Frippe is the deed-owner yes, i'm his brother and we "technically" own the deed together and I have had the most interaction with the other party. So i read frippes post and alot got abit jumbled around, and some things lost in translation i reckon, I'm going to refrain from using the chatlogs as it can be a reason for a ban for someone in the other party. This action wasn't just a burst of ######ry, we had our plans with our deed, how it would look, where the farms would go and where our treefarms would be, also i had a place plotted out where new players can build on, instead of leaving broken homes around the deed. All of this was secondary as i was helping out fellow alliancemembers with landscaping mostly, on of us had been cut off from his old home and we chipped in for a proper deed for him, so i was there flattening it out. The "deed" I'm accused of closing off isn't closed off, he put his deedmarker on a freaking mountainside, and in effect closed all our attempts at expanding up the mountain moot, as he expanded right up to us. As I'm on a gmt+1 time and he's apparently east coast USA i never really saw him online, i did sometime but i didn't bother at the time, we can say that's my fault. The other party called a GM, The GM in question said the enclosures was legal and in order, a way to the tundra exists. On a personal note though, The notion that we had closed him off is untrue, at least to me, he has a way up the mountain as he pleases, he made the tunnel first, so he has that way aswell. I'll also add the conversation i had in local the first time i saw them rampaging on our deed, trying to build a road one tile from our deed into our housingarea. If not a certain person had come up and said these things there most probably would've been a road there now, yes sure you might think it's silly of me to react in such a manor, but it's alot of little things brewing for a longer while and that was the straw that broke the camels back. And not to forget, they can still build a proper road through if they just mine under the enclosures and out, then the tundra will be less affected as was their wish in the first place. Frippe mentioned a conversation i had aswell in whisper with the other party, it was after the GM had made his decision and I've told him to refrain to use it in the argument, as it it's my conversation and for me to show if needs be. This is the first time i ever talked to the other party
  4. Oh i so hate people crackin down on people trying to have a disussion about improvements or changes to a game, try to have some constructive critism or don't bother. anyways to the subject at hand! The system where you gain skill when you use said skill is awesome for me, quite immersive even! Sure it's a grind if you want to get high skill in one area quickly, the short time i've been here i've seen a few burn out. But many seem to return anyway in due time. As someone said earlier sure you can grind to get the skills fast but if you just slowly go wherever you go and gain skills now and then you'll get high skill eventually. The grind is done willingly, you can still play wurm and get the whole experience of wurm without grinding it into oblivion.
  5. I love the moons in wurm, makes for such a nice setting, this is what i've come up with so far: https://plus.google....=CNDe3K315bCAQQ "edit" hopefully it should work now, i'm new to the photosharing stuff =)
