  1. Make it like an altar or a trade window. It allows multiple items to be sold at once, and allows you to visually confirm what you want to sell. Being able to sell more than one item at a time outweighs the minor inconvenience and added time of having to drag the items into a window.
  2. Anyone want to sell me some clay for a sleep powder or two or four? PM me here or in-game (Monday) and let's work something out. Please close, got enough coming in now.
  3. In my earlier thread on this topic, someone suggested changing the interface to be like an altar - you have to drag whatever you want to sell into a window. I think that'd be a good solution to avoid accidentally selling something. It would allow you to see what you're selling, and wouldn't really slow the process down since you could sell more than one item at a time. Re: prompt if the get price returns higher than 20i/30i, I'm not sure that would work. I sold my 77QL shovel by mistake and got 8 irons for it.
  4. Sure, but there's people who might click it accidentally, or people who just don't bother to read up on it because it never even occurred to them that they wouldn't get the chance to explicitly choose what was sold. I mean we choose what we sell to vendors or what we trade to players, even what we throw into trash piles, so why is the token different? And yes, lots of people feel the Wurm experience is about making mistakes and punishing newbies, but if we want to keep newbies the number of irreperable mistakes they can make should be minimized. If I was a newbie and I'd lost the only valuable tool I owned through a misclick like that I'd be furious.
  5. I don't think it should be possible to sell items to the token without a chance to confirm that's what you want to sell. Just a pop-up window asking if you really want to sell this would be great, or a trade window where you can drag multiple items to sell to the token at once. Something that'll let you know what you're selling so you don't get rid of something you want to keep. Another solution might be a way to undo a sale if you sold the wrong thing. Yes, there's a short timer to allow you to cancel a sale, but if someone, say a new player, doesn't know what "sell" does and expects maybe a menu to pop up, or if someone clicks on it by accident, they might not realize what's happening in time to hit stop.
  6. Eyesgood's got a point, phrased very politely and respectfully. More information about game changes or the game rules would be nice. I don't know why some people need to jump to Rolf's defense so quickly and aggressively anytime there's the slightest criticism (and this was a slight criticism). Eyesgood didn't come in and say "Lol Rolf you're a horrible person and your game sucks and i hate you ahahahaha and your little game too hahaha and especially your dumb wild rules and players hahaha" he just asked for a bit of specific clarification. Rolf's running a business and should be able to handle customer feedback that isn't 100% glowing. How does it help to attack anyone who gives feedback that's different from "fantastic game A+++ would play again no changes needed evar perfect the way it is." People can love things and still want to see improvements. Other MMOs come with huge manuals and maps and people still have fun exploring and learning about the game world and backstory, it doesn't ruin their experience one bit. No one's asking for a manual or a map just a little more information sometimes. (And no, the wiki isn't a manual it's community-made and full of guesses because Rolf won't confirm a lot of stuff)
  7. Were you using a mining title at the time? The only time I had hallucinations was when doing a task that matched the title I was using, wondering if there's a connection there
  8. KOS is necessary, whether it's in a violent or non-violent form.
  9. That sounds like some pretty flawed rules and/or reasoning. Take it up with Oracle, Beezleboss. Ultimately any company should want their customers to be happy. You're clearly not happy in this situation, and who would be?
  10. Concern: If my village stays on Freedom 1, but if we have friends or other new recruits starting after next week, we'll have to sail across the new server to pick them up and bring them back, and since we're right by the unfinished Kincan Canal, we'll have to sail through half of Freedom to get to the southern sea to begin with. That's gonna be a pain But a new server will be fun and IMO well needed Thanks Rolf
  11. Thank you Blacklotus for taking my friend and me into your village and letting us build a rowboat in safety. Thank you Snakegal for giving me my first butchering knife. Thank you Pentaxpilot and Rodan for helping me find my corpse when I'd wandered far away from home, and for being great neighbours. And more recently, thank you Rodan for risking your life with that champion lava spider ;D. Thank you ntstalker (I think that was the name) for the sailboat ;D Thank you Tokeiito, Julepalme, Aiyana, Napster, Kahzul and Nozil for being great neighbours. Thank you Morghor and Zorkyntha for being fantastic neighbours.
  12. Level 6 on path of insanity, looking for enlightenment to level 7 just under a week from now. I'm also willing to enlighten anyone on insanity from lvl 3 to 4. PM me through forum
  13. :-[ that was probably it, i'm used to not thinking about what crops i'm farming and i completely forgot about that but light/time affects at least a few skills. I was also hoping to find out if anyone knew for sure whether it's a variable in all skills? i've got an impression that some people think it is
