  1. Updated it a bit, also looking for a experienced horse breeder who doesn't mind to take care of the cows and bisons too. ;o
  2. If you both fit those requirements then yes.
  3. Overhauled post, wrote down our so far only ingame agreed upon rules etc. Screenshots will be updated sometime soonish too. >< And we still recruit!
  4. as far as i can tell not everyone has entered their deed into the map of Dark yet. We have more deeds then villagers.
  5. Wow... really? I mean the door the permissions changed on is perfectly fine and was older and of lower strength then the one that poofed, but i will try to catch Rolf and ask him or anorher dev on IRC about it, thanks for the heads up. EDIT: Ok, it's confirmed that mine doors on deed _can_ decay, however a younger and stronger one should not decay ahead of a weaker and older one. (if the amounts of difference are big enough) Other options would be that someone aggroed a troll in the mine and the troll would have forced it's way out of the mine (though i never managed to get any monster, not a troll either, truh a mine door without setting it to "everyone" on permissions.) Also the knowledge acquired by the village does affect it as well some people on IRC said. To sum it up, seems the whole decay mechanic for mine doors no matter where is a bit funny and before you use a mine door, build a 1x1 house with 3 walls around the mine entrance in front of it, seems the best so far.
  6. And you forceing your way into Gurokkens main mine isn't hostile? Without any word and just leting your actions speak every night like that, this all has escalated to a point where you indirectly declared "pve war" on me, no idea how to call it otherwise. Do you think i watch how someone who i think has removed a mine door of my deed and changed permissions on the other tries to damage me even further? I'm maybe a women, but i'm by far not helpless. And as Object stated, the FCC is just a guide - i abide to it until someone turns hostile towards me. 1.) Your "mine" was on the FIRST tile labeled "Gurokken perimeter" right besides a village labeled tile. 2.) Everyone should be aware of the fact that a town can expand it's deeds size at any given time, thus if you build in a perimeter of a town i think you should ask the town in question before, i highly doubt the FCC (i havent read it entirely, since i think it all comes down to commen sense and being nice to each other which i had no problems with so far) would allow people to place buildings, mine doors, etc. into the perimeter of other deeds and thus limiting their growth. That would be a free griefing ticket. To your point 3. - when we got into contact later that week, i had not been to Gurokken yet, i run 5 prem toons and 5 deeds, i am not in each of my deads every day at any given time. I went to Gurokken to get some ore that i needed and thats when i noticed. And to point 6. - Yea, i'm coming from my first experience i had with you, being flamed at for hours without even a hello or explanation to begin with. Also, tho thats for both of us - theres a PM function on the forums, the whole timezone and not geting into contact thing is just not valid for both of us, but i didn't think of it and i doubt you did either. Soooo two points down for both of us on that matter. Unfortunately, until i have a valid proof of why this one mine door disappeared from my deed and how the permissions on the main mine door turned to "everyone" i have nothing else to talk about. I trusted and helped you once, i was possibly (to put it carefull in the view of recent news) betrayed and i doubt it's (once again) my turn to reach out to you. Show me how those two things happened in a valid way and i'm open for further talks. EDIT: Forgot to mention, i will remove the KOS as a first step, since i guess you wont undertake any further steps to forcefully access Gurokkens mine. Should i see something else though, it will be reinstated and be permanent then.
  7. Only me and him had permissions to do so, i was gone due my RL move, so who else should have done it? I wouldn't leave a mine with all those ressources public... my guess is he changed it, so that his new villagers could enter it as well, which he didn't ask me for either. (he even used my mine to advertise for his town, thats where i pull this _guess_ from, cause why advertise with a mine that no one can enter but him...) And don't forget the second mine door on my deed that was suddenly gone - on deed mine doors don't decay, so either he or his villagers bashed it. (though only he had the permissions to do so and until yesterday i had no deed guard to enforce rules) He worked on the road only the day when we made the deal, after that i have seen no progress and it was never meant for us to work on it together, it was what he had to do to keep the access to the mine and it was the only thing i requested him to do for it. As for the imaginary world comment, have you ever heard of people twisting reality so that everything suits them perfectly? Like everyone is bad and only they are good? Thats the kind of world i talk about, not about the imaginary world of Wurm. Just to put things a bit straight, personaly i don't like drama nor do i need it. I have the ingame support of GM Thunderbird for my actions which i cleared yesterday with him. Actually, the... ... was GM Thunderbirds advice to do, since that mine shaft is on my deed, thus it was ok. And now make of it what you want, i won't reply anymore since it will only end in a endless (hoho) argument of things he thinks he didn't do and i think he did and no one can prove anything anyhow. The deeds are as they are now and i take measures to make my mine safe. I was nice to him, he messed it up... can't help it, i see no reason to give him access to it again... not after posting his ill intent of mining under my mine to remove my access from my own mine as well... which btw wont work - you can't mine where there is a deed over it, a deed makes you own the air above and the rock beyond the area you deeded, sort of.
  8. Just staing my side of the story, since i don't like it how Inamatus has been (since i know him) twists facts and lives in his own little imaginary world. For me this thread is done now, no further need to comment on it since there is nothing left to say. Just so no one gets any popcorn and sees it rott.
  9. So you twist it as you please again... oh well here goes, and btw i already talked to a GM about you and your villager actions. I deeded when your deed was also new and hardly visible, i told you that already many times, i checked the area of a fresh new deed 5x5 + perimeter and nothing came up, so i deeded the place. Then 4 days later (!! took you a while to notice) after i had build two half done houses and a 50 tile mine, yu came running up and flamed me for 3hours straight and i told you the same what some people here said - if you didn't deed it, you lose it and i told you as well i didn't even see your deed when i checked the tiles i planed to deed. However, after being flamed at by you for hours while i was only stating facts and rules i offered you the deal that if you build a road to the lake, i would let you mine to your hearts content in the big mine i already developed and on top allowed you to use my well since you had to ride a while to the shore with barrels to get even water and i gave you permissions on the deed on top of it (which proved to be wrong). Then i went offline for 6-7 days due my RL move, so a few days ago when i went to Gurokken (my deed in question here) to mine some ores, i noticed that one of my two minedoors (ON DEED!) was bashed away and the other had permissions set to "everyone" - which only you Inamatus and me had permissions to change to, my villagers of aincrad had no permissions for this at this point in time. (also the mine is a mess, since you created that huge drop hole right besides a few veins on the deeded area ... like i said, was wrong to even give you access to the mine) So, after i was being nice here and made a deal even while you used foul language against me for hours, you... 1.) never fullfilled your end of the deal, the road is in the same state as it was on the day we made the deal and you hurried to start it. 2.) when i come back on from my move i find my mine vandalized and doors bashed plus permissions changed so every troll can roam around it and do whatever they please. After that i tried to get a hold of you ingame to no avail, so i removed your permissions and made the mine only accessible to me and my villagers. Then, a night later i noticed you or your villagers tried to mine into my mine once again by starting a tunnel on the first perimeter tile of my deed, now who is the griefer? I mean how bold can you get? I expanded my deed for that deed tile, slaped a door on it since i dont want you creating more dropshafts and for sure not access my mine by it and vandalize it even more. I secured that shaft with support beams as well to prevent even further break ins, yet i failed to support one rock right behind the mine door. You or your villagers once again started a new tunnel and used that one hole in my support beam "wall" to break into my mine and wreak havoc again (food barrel was half robbed which i place in mine, etc.) So, i talked to GM Thunderbird, explained the situation and he told me it's fine to block you guys from accessing my mine by using shaker orbs and support beams - which i did. Yes i had to spent 5s and a lot of time to secure something you try like mad to get into with all bold means. Which ultimately resulted in KOSing all your people i knew, since i have to prevent them from geting close to my mine as it seems, since if they get close i find them trying to break into it. Now, who griefes who? P.S.: It's "her". And the number of my alt's doesn't really matter i think? I have one premium miner and 3 free to play miners to expand mines, so much for your counting abilities and you have seen em all too. And about the Marigold alliance - never ever complained to me and no one had to deal with anything there, if there is someone from that un-named lake having issues they should step forward and speak for themself, but i doubt they need someone like you throwing vague things with no details into the air. My mine in Aincrad is being run by my villagers btw, since i don't like to move my miners from town to town all the time. Same goes for the mine in Alfheim, it's run by one villager and i havent heard any complains from there yet. You Inamatus, are the only one who complains and wants wants wants without giving anything and then even ruins what you are given access to. Your "gimme or i quit" behavior quite proves it as well, thats the same line you told me back when i offered you the deal and i offered it to you so Wurm would not lose a player, that was my only reason for giving you access to the mine and i told you that quite clearly.
  10. Public Markets?

TV has already a market with about 6-8 stalls iirc? I am sure Tyler will correct me if i am wrong. Then again, no idea if that area is ever going to be a "public" market. I wouldn't mind to make some room in front of Aincrads main gates for a market, once i boost the deed to max size (2-3 weeks time) we will have our perimeter filled. Another option would be to use a part of Jötunheimr (ex-camelot) maybe? Either way, both options would take some terraforming in the first place and with the 2-3 weeks time til i expand the deed theres plenty of preparation time. We also paved a highway up to in front of SS - we didn't manage to think up a good way to connect it deeper down into SS since... well yea, guess we all know how complicated SS is.
  11. hehe guess you dislike umlauts Thanks a lot for the light blue roof tops, nice job <3
  12. Found: Iron, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Silver, Gold, Marble Missing: Tin, Slate Dunno if i missed anythig, but thats what i found or haven't found on my deeds so far, but not even close to have uncovered all. :/
  13. Requesting a namechange for "Camelot". I bought the deed and renamed it to "Jötunheimr" - all other settings remain the same, thanks. It also belongs to the "Union of Swords" Alliance.
  14. Ok, i am back online, moving is almost finished - i won't be online a lot the next 2-3 days but then back to normal. We are still recruting people.
  15. I noticed a bit late there is a colour system for alliances... uhm... I would like to request the colour #5bd8fd / R 91, G 216, B 253 if it's still available (it's a lightish blue) for my alliance "Union of Swords". Villages within the Alliance are: - Aincrad - Alfheim - Gurokken - Underworld Thanks a lot in advance!
  16. Added another deed... ^^; Underworld Location: AV 6 Size: 15 x 8
  17. hehe sorry for our bad neighboor the green menace to smack you, but the red circle with Kyklops inside sort of marks his area. We are also working on a road to SS which just needs flattening and cobblestone now. If you get on poke me, i should be on for the next 10-12h before i sleep again. (btw the gates are open for the public so coming in is ok )
  18. accepted - and yea i agree with you about that, as you said it's in the rules anyhow. Anything neutral is fine, nothing related to a alliance or village name, just to give a rough opinion. Tho, i still don't want to think about names or we would end up with stuff like "Ichigo Gyuunyuu Mizuumi" (苺牛乳湖 - Strawberry Milk Lake) or something like that. >_< (that one was for the possible lols it may produce, or not)
  19. 1.) First of, our village isn't named Marigold, thank god. 2.) Personaly as the Mayor of Aincrad that Katear belongs to i give a damn what that lake is gona be named... it could remain as #1 forever or whatever, i hardly care because it doesn't affect me in any way - unless it brings more business in which i highly doubt. 3.) Katear wrote this out of his own accord and i told him i don't agree with him for a few reasons. So, if it wasn't for eshy twisting Katears statement to make it look like we would have wanted the lake named Aincrad (which, i repeat, we don't want and never even thought about it because i have better things to do then think about names) i wouldn't even have posted in this thread period. Have fun o/
  20. Used this map http://noizeviolatio.../wurm/hires.png Aincrad Deed: 27 x 39 Perimeter: 18 Location: AV 15 Guard Tower, Tall Stone walls surround it, City sized Alfheim Deed: 5 x 5 Perimeter: 5 Location: AW 12 Gurokken Deed: 10 x 5 Perimeter: 5 Location: AW 08 Thanks in advance.
  21. Going by the last edit date yes, still very active - but honestly, no idea what there would be more to tell. If you have any questions, contact me ingame on my toon "Milkdrop", please.
  22. oh ok... was worried for a second, playing my third week now so i have no clue about the advanced items and tactics of terraforming yet.
  23. so in other words.... without such a wand the whole project is doomed anyhow and was never worth a discussion?
  24. Oh well, here goes... Yes, Aincrad is interested in a Canal to the sea. However, how and where it will end up - no idea. Also, i think most of the interested deeds have currently no manpower to spare for a project of this scale - or? Aincrad has it's villagers (3-4 active people :/ ) sinking in work, so i am not sure if we could even contribute to canal works til another 1-2 weeks have passed. We have made a dredge and work on a boat and all to head towards the canal works, but thats all at the moment, just preparing and pondering.
  25. Hello, Aincrad is located straight west from Sloping Sands, basically you run over the hilly area and once you got past that huge wood area there is a second lake aside from the starter area one. What we can offer 53 by 83 deed, 5 (free) perimeter for Aincrad Clay/Sand/Tar close by Ores: Iron, Copper, Zinc, Gold, Lead, Marble free 43+ QL Meals for Citizens and Trials alike 56+ Carpenter 59+ Mason 78+ Blacksmith 73+ Miner Recruitment Center with all required facilities to explore the different professions and support people without a own house, has also 4 beds for Trials and homeless Citizens alike Storagehouse Guard Tower with currently five guards Spirit Castle (Mailbox) with a 51 enchant Farm Animal Pens (Horses and Cattle being breed) Temple with 3 gold Altars (Vynora, Magranon and Fo) Marketplace Vynora Priest (x2) Magranon Priest (x2) Villagers can have a house, bed and high QL tools for their chosen profession to focus on made when they decided to stay with us (long term), passed the trial and are premium accounts Requirements to join Aincrad or one of our other villages within the Alliance experienced player premium account active player being online during your trial time at least every second day - being offline for more then 2 days without further notice will result into dismissal passing the trial time (the trial length depends on the activity of the player, it should be enough time given to figure out if we can get along with each other) Exceptionals (even if you are new to the game, if you can gurantee these you are welcome too - we mainly want to avoid the type of player that joins and ony logs in 1hour per week.) eager to learn how things work premium account high playtime (at least 2-3h per day and you would have to keep this up after the trial time until you work well on your own) - being offline for more then 2 days during your trial time without further notice will result into dismissal passing the trial time (the trial length depends on the activity of the player, it should be enough time given to figure out if we can get along with each other) Satellite Villages: Alfheim (undergoing terraforming) Gurokken (huge mine with 3 different metals, a well for water, Smithery and Storage Tower) Underworld (west coast town, doing heavy terraforming here - Smithery done, ramp down to the shore done - now reclaiming sea land) Jötunheimr (a walled in deed close to Aincrad on the same lake, formerly known as Camelot) Currently working on: making the town more pretty and hopefully lively setting up the four satellite villages to work properly connect the satellite villages Odds and ends Timezones: Europe and USA (Florida) is where the most of our currently active Members come from, but anyone is welcome. We would like nice people who talk a bit now and then, silent ghosts that roam the streets like NPCs can stay out, we have no graveyard. I don't force people to do jobs that they don't like, however it is expected that you help out making bricks, mortar or other boring things sometimes, specially for public community projects - obviously (!) avoiding such tasks every time they are presented may result in a new trial time and in extreme cases dismissal. (if i hate something, then it's unfairness and avoiding such tasks would be unfair to the other citizens who help out willngly) The writ of your possible future house will go to Milkdrop for management purposes, you alone still decide who can enter the house though. Within the house you can do whatever you want of course. We don't allow low stone walls, wood fences etc. in town, Iron fences only. (off-deed it doesn't matter what you build) If you plan a vacation or absence from the game longer then 1 week, please drop me at least a PM on the forums. If your character hasen't been online for more then 2 weeks, it will be dismissed and the belogings on the deed go to the public storage. A new invite is possible, however it would also entail a new trial, which depending on how well you did before could be very short or long. Returning the items that haven't entirely dissolved in the public storage mass is possible, but please understand that there are limits to keep track of things. If your character had a house, it may be owned by someone else by then or be torn down. we don't bite You can contact me ingame by "Milkdrop" or PM me on the forums in case i am offline. Thanks.
