Is serverpacks enabled on both client and server And inifinity.jar in the serverpack folder and added to the properties file of the serverpacks on the server

From my experience with errupt, (the path of power ability), it does do the surface layer and the underground shaft. It may be a game mechanic that cooling of lava occures quicker at higher heights.

Lava has two layers. The surface and underground. I think painting the surface as GM, does not do the underground. May be thats why its cool too quick.

Most likely cause is the server calculating damage on items on ground, where there are A LOT of items, like when player mass skill, there woodcutting or make kindling etc which leaves 100's if not 1000's of items in a zone. Also as said before you have a player or players sending too many item creation calls to server, via a macro or other program.

I think, that if the last time the characters logged out was on the second map, they should be ok. Any one that logged out on the old log in server and you remove it, j think the server will ask them to create a new character. FMI, what issues are you having with the log in server currently?

No.Database population is not automatic. Thats why players have to travel to the new server from old. Before login server setting is changed.

I think it can be done like this. Connect. the new map to the one, Let every one travel from the old map to new one. Then switch the log in server to the new map. Keep old map just in case. Never tested it but have had thoughts i can be done like this.

Have you set up ther server to send emails? As thats the error at the end, can not bind to port 25, do not know if that would kill it from starting though, may be there is some more logs missing after that.

Can a older client version be run outside the steam folder and connect to a server of the same version?

there was/is a mod out there that added eery sounds when in a mine. Cant remember what its called or who the author is at the moment, i will look at my WU mods i have when i get home.

YES. most definately. Also using the ingame GM wand command to shut it down, gives the server a better chance of writing everything it need to write to DB/disk.

You alt+tab ? Happens to me. Alt+tab out again and the selecting the wurm client again with a mouse click fixes it for me.

Looks like you access issues with the graphics.jar file Client can use it, it might be locked my another program, or something. May have to re-validate, if that does not work. Delete it and habve the client redownload it.

Been a while since i have set up a server. It could be the the way you have IP address you have the serverpacks set up. What address do you use for it. And what address do you use to connect

From my past ticket i put on on WO a few years ago, i thought something like this was a bug, (cannot remember what exacly the two actions were), the GM told me there are some action that have priority over others, either jump to front of queue pausing current action, or run in parallel with current action.
