    Scale should have been required to use steel. I still think if they are gonna devalue the prior work put into PAS the armor bonus for making it from steel should be way higher than iron.
  2. I am a bit sad that it devalues all the effort everyone has put into PAS over the years. Yet another skill made way easier to get now.
  3. I guess if they really need a lesson on how to make bad tweets, never stick with your game, lose your friends, wife and incessantly whine about about how having all this money has ruined your life.
  4. Its not selfishness. Its wanting things to be fair across the board for all players. Its sad that epic has not lived up to what it was supposed to be. I play on epic also. This change will benefit me a great deal but it doesn't make it fair.
  5. Its not a "bit faster" its 3X faster that is better than permanent SB. Throw some SB on that and now its 6X. Its still a smack in our face since what they were getting already was very generous considering they were NEVER supposed to transfer characters from Epic to Freedom.
  6. Wow just Wow. Mine as well just make the damn transfer 1 to 1 instead of trying to hope most freedomers don't notice this is what your pretty much doing anyway.

    I would be thankful for getting skills transferred over period considering they were supposed to be separate FOREVER. But your not only getting to transfer over but they are being way generous in my opinion of the amount of skill they are letting you keep. I am with WKM on this one. In my opinion the formula was probably based more on trying to find a number that Freedomers will tolerate and Epic players will accept than real math.
  8. During that 10 hour session I killed every type of mob several times over with the exception of mobs in the ocean.
  9. I spent about 10 hours hunting today and fighting seems the same to me. I have had no instances of super chickens or any mob that took more than the usual amount of time to kill. Wack, Wack, dead.
  10. I think it is a matter of interpretation for a lot of posts. One could argue the thread about the longest creation path should be in wood scraps, the one about the supreme log in community assistance. Neither one of them interest me one bit but doesn't mean i care they are there. Hell most of the posts on this whole forum seem to be for the sole point of post counts or just to hear themselves talk. I just look over the forums and read what gets my attention and then mark the whole forum read and move on with my life. Seems we must have reached a point in Wurm that we have no more issues other then the categorization of posts.
  11. I guess me wanting every category of weapon smithing to have its own skill would not be popular. ie swords,mauls,axes,pole arms
  12. Perhaps the % for creation could be reworked to make the basic type items that a new person would need a lot higher. For example making a bed you used to have to make a ton of headboards because you lost them on a fail. A basic bed should be made with perhaps a 80% chance with low skill. While there were times it was frustrating to make things it also was a incentive to increase your skill. Really now having a 6% chance only means you have to just keep spamming the button over and over and you will eventually create it skills be damned. There is no downside to failing. The damage the item takes is so low you would have to fail a thousand times to even come close to destroying it. A novice shipbuilder with his 6% chance to make a knarr should suffer lots of fails. This should be a indicator that making this is above your level. The only other thing is to start making creation based on a hard number. Not even being able to attempt creation until that level in a skill is reached like it is for some of the new furniture.
  13. The login servers store your account info and bank money thats it. Rolf even stated in the Q&A that every server is capable of doing the same thing its just whether its turned on or off for that server. What you really wanted is the server code separated. So maybe you need a new thread about having the "server" code separated. Just because you think the reasons are obvious the rest of us may not. Just a blanket statement of I want the code separated is vague and says nothing really. You might want to list the things in the code you want separated because maybe those are just simple changes to the code right now or even a switch. Ie.. would like the ability to be able to place mine doors on mine entrances with higher than 90 slopes or perhaps return the ability to use sculpting wands on slopes greater than 60.
  14. In your opinion because you have extra money to piss away. How about we leave upkeep alone and you just sac a extra silver or two when you are spamming these deeds. How about when placing the merchant he is automatically a citizen of the same deed the player that placed it belongs to. This way the deed he is located on gets 2.5%, the deed he is a citizen of gets 2.5% and rolf takes 5%. If the merchant is not on a deed then Rolf gets 7.5% and the merchants deed gets 2.5%.
  15. I was busy typing my wall when you posted but I dont think they should have any affect on anything PVP. Even with a cooldown this would just be one more must have item in pvp. Fun or minor useful things.
