  1. Update: We have a total of three people on the deed now. Things are moving along well. I started working on a ramp out of the valley yesterday, and chopped a number of lemon trees. We have declared official war on lemon trees. We live in a forest of them that stretches 6 kilometers long and 2 kilometers wide. Here is a picture of the area in which the ramp is going in: Yeah its steep. This will be a lot of work. I logged in this morning and discovered lanterns! This is awesome! Still interested in having a few more villagers. This is shaping up to be a wonderful area to work in.
  2. A semi troll satire with an excelent point and serious discussion? Wonderful. I approve. The rule needs adjusted to define what it means and the illegal drug clause probably needs an entire sub-section.
  3. That was my thought with xanadu. I haven't played since 1.0. Ill shoot you a pm.
  4. Original post updated. Could we please have a mod move this to the xanadu section?
  5. Here is a picture as promised. The deed centers roughly around the tent in the middle and will take up most of this valley. Still looking for a few people. I have a couple hits already, this is going to be exciting. Named it "Niedershoenhaven".
  6. Scale

Ive run about 100 km, i keep grossly underestimating distances. This map is huge.
  7. Restart for lag. Thats what they told us anyway.
  8. Perhaps someone should start a national parks service, have a bunch of people pay into a fund to make a large perimeter deed over such areas. I don't know if thats even viable, but deeding is a sure fire way to keep others from planting tulips in the tundra.
  9. Niederschoenhaven is a large deed (100x100 or so planned) that is going to have plenty of room for everyone to work to their heart's content. I am looking for 5 or 6 villagers, preferably new characters but I'm flexible. We have a decently leveled miner and smith, and I am leveling wood skills (out of nesecity) as well as leatherworking, butchering, digging, and farming. We still need another carpenter, a rancher, a tailer, and a few others. Also If you just want to hang out and learn the game you are welcome too. Basically need warm bodies at this point. There is a lot of work to do. Here is a picture in the fall: And one in the winter: Let me know if you are interested, I am willing to work with just about anyone. Works in progress: Road up to the ridge and thus the rest of the world: 0.01% complete. The mine: 4 iron tiles uncovered (hopefully they stay fingers crossed). Basic workshop: 0%. WATER: WE HAVE WATER WOOT WOOT got a fountain working yesterday. Project for barrels and several more fountains: 10%. Short list: Ranch area worked. Farm land developed. Deed expansion. We will need to cut down 300,000 lemon trees and replace with various wood types. Orchard needs planted. A few notes: Contributing to the deed upkeep is not a requirement, but is awfully nice as it is expensive. Ill reevaluate this once the /sell option works again. However, contributing to the community is necessary and something I struggle with so I suppose we can learn how together!
  10. Stuff her office full of butterfly and cherry blossom stories. It may not stop her but it may distract her enough that she calms down. This is one of the reasons I avoid Facebook as much as I can, too many people buying in to what amounts to conspiracy theories brought about by the misguided, or trolls, or political interest groups. Drives me bonkers.
  11. Seahorse sound is rather creative, I could go with that.
  12. Might I offer a suggestion for #7? Salinity bay. It just feels right, I don't live on it but am directly impacted by whatever drama goes on there.
  13. Affinities

Thievery. Yes, thievery. I dare you to come up with something with less use on a freedom server.
  14. Here is a rough diagram of the area 39-41y, 4-6x. Some notes: there is a third small lake a little north of the map, and offset from the other two west a bit. There is a deed on it named "Teritha" The upper lake has extensive peat deposits on the bank. The two deeds in the map are marked in orange, size not represented well. Names are "Black Lake Village" for the north one and "Wustan Rand" (German for Desert's edge, may change it to English) for the south one. The desert comes almost right up to the mountain on the mountain' se corner, and is right up next two the first lake. Clay for the this region is found at 31y, 3x and is rather difficult to get to, as it is at the edge of the map down a cliff and past several troll spawns. The mountain area pictured has a couple mines, both with iron. EDIT: You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community. Wut. Heres a strait link until i can get a different host />http://s1297.beta.photobucket.com/user/Eriktheread1/media/image_zps7fe1ded7.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0
