  4. It 's all about pixel ratio, texture memory(texture size), and how many textures we want to use on an object , but I do agree about the cog.

    Some about the client (can't tell you anything about the server or server bugs because I have a just little insight in that kind of matters) Erik and Alex has spent all week hunting down bottlenecks and memory leaks in the client and will continue to do so next week and when challenge gets on-line and "hopefully" a lot of players play there we will be able to hunt down even more. Challenge isn't all about pvp/and craziness its also a tool for us to test new things and have as an test platform for bug hunting. So one of our big priorities are * "Improving client stability and reducing lag when around many other players." We also have a new render pipeline in the works that will improve performance (fps) and let us do some more fancy graphics stuff (normal maps etc) but there still alot of work on that one before it gets to public testing. Me and Alex usually spend 1-2 days a week bug testing that client version. The client have been around since eh... before 2006 so its really needs a facelift. (Some "secret" info ) In the last meeting we also discussed placing objects on walls and have special modelled outer walls, that's something I really hope we will start working on in the future as it would take the home/house designing up one Noth but I cant promise you anything for now.   14. I think your frosted mini wheat looks like a bush with snow on it. *To remove frosting on hedges take a very low ql scythe or sickle and dmg it past 60 and it will change graphics. Since its working on all hedge types so far that I have tried I assume its not a bug but rather a feature. That's a bug thanks for reporting it
  15. Me and Alex did some work on particle effects on objects in hands awhile ago, I would really love more effects on attached items like burning torch in hand and so forth. I will poke him with a sharp stick and see if we can continue our quest someday. Regarding frame rate, the effects don't need to be super fancy just enough to visualize what it represents.
  16. Animated assets don't glow :/ Backpacks are attached to and follows the player therefor not animated.
