  1. Are Wagons in?

No, they just added new payment options, as well as adding the reimbursement system. Wagons will be later this month, hopefully!
  2. I'm interested. Can meet at the exodus spawn. Pm me here or in game.
  3. Don't get me wrong, Bashur did(and still does) love this game. Unfortunately, due to his job of being a youtube-star, he needed to continually produce content(mostly via the game Minecraft), and his Wurm Wednesdays simply did not bring enough to fans to the Bashurverse. Also another reason is his production of Minecraft videos took away from his play time on Wurm. Because of this, the players online in Wurm felt as though his presence in-game was not enough, and therefore felt no allegiance towards him. He ordered us around, but was not there to enjoy it with us, which angered many. Lastly, right before the revolution, Bashur was completely unaccessable by anyone due to him being at MineCon. There was also a rumour that money people had donated to the Wurm cause directly to Bashur had been spent at MineCon, and not on Wurm at all. I have no way of verifying this claim, but I know personally this set me off a lot. In short - Wurm did not pay for his bills, and therefore was more of an expense than a profit for him, personally. This was a business venture for him, not just simply a game.
  4. Recently I had an experience where I attempted to fire a catapult off a castle wall. Unfortunately, this was the games response: [16:00:01] You cannot fire the small catapult inside a structure. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could have siege weapons on castle walls, firing at the attacking enemy?! With bridges upcoming, siege towers could, in theory, be constructed. Catapults on castle walls could prevent this from being successful. Catapults on castle walls looks good ascetically, but why not also be functional! ~Lei
  5. I dont have permissions to post on the Epic forums, but I also thought this would be a good place to post because I know as a former freedom isles-er that Freedom Citizens knew about the Bashur thing just as much as people on Epic. Just wanted to continue the story and have people know Bashur didnt last long on Pvp d:
  6. Thanks again for all your support! I don't know why people followed him either. I was playing the past year on Pristine, and actually joined Bashur just for the experience. It's not every day in Wurm you have the opportunity to join a deed with 200+ people all compacted into a 50x50 deed. Incredible experience, for however little time it lasted. After the ruling class fell, I stayed, again, for that community in which I had originally joined for. My new friends here are diverse and honestly - lots of fun!
  7. Hello Good People of Wurm! The City of Albion, of the Desertion Server, on the Epic Island Cluster comes to you for a new important update! After a few weeks of updates not being present from the former city of Ashuria via our old leader, Bashur - I now come to you with new news! The Ashurian Revolution! We, the citizens of Ashuria, have overthrown the old Lord Bashur from his tyrannical rule! Under Bashur's rule, we were forced into doing tasks that were unpleasing simply in order to be appreciated. Much of this included bricks and mortar, but does not exclude other tasks such as terra-forming and tedious tasks. This was obviously very overwhelming for people, especially people new to the game, and it actually scared many of the new recruits away from our favorite game, Wurm Online. After Bashur's leave, his Royal Council followed him out the door. In their place, a new leader was elected. Tedrick, whom is very knowledgeable as well as level headed(a much needed improvement since our previous leader) was chosen in Bashur's place! King Tedrick elected a republic as our government, and under such rule the citizens have a say in everything that is done. Our town's citizens can do anything that interests them, including owning private homes and training skills they are actually interested in!(no more bricks and mortar!) The new council was voted on by the people, and was chosen for their yet again knowledge and honour: The New Albion Council! Under our Lord Tedrick, we have 4 current roles on the Royal Council. These include: MeetyourNaga(known as Naga) as Chaplian - In charge of Priesthood and Priests in AlbionDeletingVirus(known as Virus) as Advisor - In charge of advising the Albion council on veteran knowledge of WurmLei(known as Lei) as Chamberlain - In charge of logistics and organization of bulk and non-bulk itemsJackeylegs(known as Jackey) as Chanceleor - In charge of any Royal functions under Tedrick - second in command. The Wurm Wednesday Update! ~By DeletingVirus, This was last weeks Wurm Wednesday Update, another coming very soon! http://youtu.be/3lM1xV9b56g The Recruitment! If anyone who is reading this is at all interested in Epic, Desertion, Mol Rehan, or the Albion town or community, and looking for more information about us, the kingdom, or joining up, contact the following: Private Messages In Game: Lei, Meetyournaga, SinisterPrime, DeletingVirus, Tedrick On the forums: Lei Contact Via Albion Forums: http://roalbion.enjin.com/home Also Available: Teamspeak! 108.61.25.67:11187 Thank you everyone in Wurm for supporting our cause! Thanks for all your interest! The City of Albion, of Mol Rehan Chamberlain Lei~
  8. Good luck with your alliance, Sweety! My offer still stands to join ours if you ever move to the west coast! -Your friend, Leifar!~
  9. +1, really good idea, and I agree, it is hard to equip them. Especially if you have quite a few guards as most people do.
  10. Man, I've been watching your videos, and I gotta say, they're great. Love your thorough explanation of things, and I really love the Twin Angel Peaks deed. Keep it up, and turn it into something truly beautiful! -Lei!
  11. Ello, Wurmians!, One of my newest projects at High Harbor, on the Pristine server, was to build a "Lumber Mill". More or less, it's my location to horde logs, saw planks, do carpentry, and make fine carpentry items. Comfy, eh? I love the lofts and the alteration of floor levels (Wooden Floorboards vs. Wooden Floor) -Lei!
  12. Hah! They didn't pay me, but show your support! It only costed $6.00 flat on Amazon, But regardless of the price, I would have payed nearly anything just to support the new music with my money. This is good stuff(even without the comparison to the old music). If people buy it, Rolf will know this is what the people want, and more of it! I must say this music changed my wurm experience. So much more immersion. He can do without the weird blues music though... although "Wurm is Waiting" is catchy... it shouldn't be an in-game song.
  13. What I did, is I went and bought the Wurm Online - Meditation and Work album by Tom E. Morrison on Amazon's Cloud player. Same Wurm music, but with an out-of-game player which is pause-able, repeatable, and shuffle-able. Works great for me! Love the new music!
  14. I've been waiting all year to hear about this! Thanks for hosting Aum! Can't wait to attend!
  15. I request image updates on this regularly!
  16. +1 for sure. Recently one of my neighbors on Pristine built catapults on top of castle walls, looks amazing! More seige machines(even for decorative purposes) would be nice!
  17. So, with the new look of merchants and traders, I've developed a problem: Everytime I go to buy something, the entire time I envy their robes! Now I agree Wurm does have many different armors, but this would be different. Would not be armor Would be purely for looks(Similar to how players wear cloth armor now) Not worn for protection Allows fast movement speed Nice with the addition of the new sorcery ability!(sorcery robes/mage's robes) Clothing and robes would not be considered armor. It would provide little protection in combat, if any at all. There could be many different models, and each model would be dyable. Armor should not be dyable as many of the materials are undyable in the real world(chainmail, plate armor, and dragonhide dying would defeat the purpose of the colored dragons.) Clothing could allow some of the more casual players(players not entirely interested in combat) more freedom to express themselves in their wealth and interests. There could even be clothing that is trade-specific! This has been brought up many times before, but I'm curious what Wurmians think about the way I've proposed it. .
  18. Big update here. I added all of the deeds from the Western Warden's Alliance, as well as a few extras from the local area. Also included are the roads (in white). Serenity cove is a market town, so post that accordingly. They have 2 merchants and a trader, always stocked with good stuff. All other deeds are homesteads.
  19. High Harbor x-3, y-16 top left corner On plateau Relatively new deed with hopes of setting up a small market, shipyard, and bulk goods sales. Has access to public clay tile and perhaps soon selling slate. Contact Mayor Leifar to request more information.
  20. So, with people getting very creative with multistory, many things have become a common sight with major deeds. One of the most notable things I've seen (at least on Pristine) is lighthouses! There are several within sight of Blossom (the starter deed) and all of them have failed my nighttime expectations while sailing! The Problem: Lighting. Indoor lighting's render distance is far too short, even with arched walls at the very top of said lighthouse, to even reach five tiles away from the base. This essentially makes a lighthouse pointless (other than for your daylight aesthetics) I've tried several things, including removing the top floor, and just making a flat floor, as well as simply bashing the walls of the top floor, which, because it still exists within the structure, the lights still pertain to the original lighting guidelines for indoors. Solution 1: Create a new item for this. It could be called a "Brazier". In past suggestions, I've seen ideas including "Bonfires". Something similar to that could even work. Simply put: The light would pass through certain wall types which technically would (or I should say should) pass through... I.E.: Windows or arched walls. The light would also extend a further distance than lamps, and of course would require a far greater fuel source to do so. Crafting materials could include metals as well as pottery, and could come in various sizes, shapes, and designs. Obviously it would be a bit more difficult to create than lamps, and would require a lot more materials to craft. (as it would be of a size relative to a bulk storage bin. Solution 2: Fix arched walls. Arched walls could allow light to pass through from within as though there was no wall there, or as though the lamp was planted outside of a building. This would make it so you would be able to plant lamps on a higher story of a building, with surrounding arched walls, and the light would escape and render at a distance which a boat would be able to aim for, even in the foggiest weather or darkest night. I understand that lighthouses may not be on everyone's agenda, but they're just a small outlet of creativity for people owning port or harbor deeds. If the issue is resolved via the brazier idea, it could even add a creative lighting source outside of lighthouses, and allow deed owners new options for their deed lighting. What do you think, Wurmians?
  21. I completely want to apologize for those few mistakes I made on the Serenity deeds. Silly mistakes. In addition, I agree with Morna. The icons are just ... huge. If Darkmalace could do something to scale them down, I think his maps would be more effective. I had SO much trouble trying to squeeze in all the deeds which are there, but the icons are far larger than the actual land the deeds own. You lose a bit of graphical quality in doing so, but it becomes more appealing and useful as a traveler and as a resident in an area.
  22. Instead of explaining in text, I figured a map would convey our entire region better. Here's the entire west-central forest/mountains/coast: Many new deeds have been added to the map with this update, as well as a clay tile, a small pond, and the goblin king mountain to the far west. Another quirk I added is a new feature - the lighthouse, which I imagine with 1.0 and multistory, will start popping up more in abundance. Some of the preexisting deeds I reorganized to be located more accurately to how they are in the game. Lastly, I removed the land bridge between Cape Hazard and the mountain deed (Cant remember the name of that deed) to the north - there is simply no land bridge there, or ever was. Hope this sorts our area out, and thanks again, Darkmalace, for all your hard work on this community map! Great work, really!
  23. Also, Serenity's End is on the shore east of Moonscrye Manor, not west. Bit of inaccuracy there As well as Serenity's Cliff, which is also further east. Stirling HIlls is just south of Serenity's End, in the forest Utopia is just south of Stirling HIlls, on the north shore of the forest pond
  24. According to Arson (via wikipedia), the term Sound does fit. Mik's right too, the play on words is awesome! Seahorse... horses in the sea! Come on, its perfect!
