A memory leak means that as you play, the game uses more and more memory until you run out and the game crashes. If it's staying at 1.2 to 1.4 gb of ram the entire time you're playing, then you are not seeing a memory leak.

I think the point is not how many buildings or people are on a specific deed. For the map, the only thing that determines what kind of icon you get is the physical tile dimensions of the deed.

In general I would like to see "local" be a lot more local and a lot less "all over the country side" that it is now.

I'm not sure I like "Prosperity Lake" for #5. It's the biggest lake on the server, maybe we should just call it Lake Pristine? Most of the coastline on this lake is very hard to inhabit, I just don't think Prosperity works for the whole lake.

I have a feeling that the current state of marble and slate veins is not working as intended, specifically because of the way things went when 1.0 was first launched. I think we should give the team time to get the big bugs squashed so they can then take a look at where and how often these new veins are appearing.

I'm very glad someone posted the Santa glitch so I could get a gnome instead of the hat. I'm happy we get a gift at all, don't get me wrong, but for me a garden gnome trumps a hat any day of the year.

Does that mean we finally have another converter to Magranon?? Where are you located?

I built a 3x3 house on Pristine, just finished all the walls yesterday. I can sleep in the bed, and get sleep bonus, but I cannot plan a floor above. I can plan a floor below on all tiles, and all tiles are flat. As soon as I create a plan for a floor below, the "plan" menu option disappears for that tile. I don't want to put in a ground floor, I like the stone slab floor here. Previous to the last patch we could plan a floor above as long as there was a plan for the floor below, now I cannot do that.

This is the bug that the devs said will be fixed. Until the last patch, you could plan the above floors with just a planned below floor. Right now you can't plan anything above.

IMHO, the trolls and crocs and scorps, etc, are in the game to make survival more challenging, not for something that needs to be hunted. I have yet to feel like I had to go out hunting for food, and that's a good thing.

I think Pristine and Release should be linked up with the rest of Freedom, but not until a few characters have passed 75 in some skills.

I agree that people who lost items/animals through a deployment mistake should be compensated, but I'm curious as to how you (or anyone else) would suggest the devs determine the compensation. If you lost two horses, and someone else lost 20 cattle, where does this data come from? It's pretty obvious that there are no tools available to the devs that tell them when an animal exploited a bug and got loose. When the Independence rollback happened, my character had crossed from Exodus, through Deliverance, into Independence, in the time period that was lost to the rollback. The end result was that my character was lost. After several attempts Enki was able to restore the character, but the row boat I used to get there, with a cargo hold full of stuff for the Impalong, was gone and no recovery possible. Enki created a new row boat and a silver statuette, and that's all I got back. I lost a lot of mundane stuff, along with an enchanted pick... all stuff I can recreate, but if there had been any kind of record of that stuff it would have been easy for Enki to restore it and it obviously wasn't. So yeah, it sucks that animals have escaped and it might not be possible to easily find them and bring them back, but I don't think the devs have any options for you that you'll be satisfied with.

Yesterday I rowed from my deed on Exodus all the way up to Independence for the Impalong. This morning, after reading about all the rollbacks on Independence, I logged on to see where I ended up. At least I tried to, my account no longer exists!! I even tried logging into the Store site here on wurmonline.com and it says the account doesn't exist. What do I need to do to get my account restored? The account name is Ricowan.

You're lucky, my account no longer exists! I had rowed from Exodus to Independence yesterday, apparently none of the servers now know I exist. Including the store site here.
