  6. The intolerance of others play style, and overall Highschool jocks "coolkids" mentality in some of the PvP community. Granted my view is from a while ago now so I can't really comment on how it is these days. There is "competitive" and "competitive"...one is fun, and the other is toxic. Sometimes it's hard to see the difference fast enough.
  7. The default properties files adds Fierce, Tough, and Keen. It's easy enough to add S&H if you want......just add it onto the traitIds line: "traitIds=0;2;7;20"
  8. This is a collection of a few mods that Cuddles wrote for us for the Cavus Nostra server. He has released one part himself along with a one rock tile surface mining mod. That part is the ability to use steel to improve items made with any moon metal. It's included again here because it's wrapped up in our package, although mostly these mods are about animals. I'm releasing it all because earlier today I asked if anyone could help with a mod for neutral trait removal, and it became apparent a number of people were very interested in this. So this mod contains: The ability to allow steel to be used to improve any item made from adamantine, glimmersteel, and seryll. The ability to groom hell-horses and unicorns. The ability to lead & hitch unicorns normally without having to tame them. Naming of bred unicorns in the same manner as horses. The ability to configure which traits the game sees as negative thus enabling them to be removed with the Genesis spell. (Which traits are affected is configured in the "traitIds" line. Normal negative traits remain defaulted, and the default =0;2;7 adds fight fiercely, tough bugger, keen senses.   9. I think I have this sorted, but I need to test it. Also it has been added to a few other mods which were server specific to Cavus Nostra and all rolled up in one mod. I don't have an issue with releasing it all, but I just need to check with the person who wrote it that it's OK. Will let you know later.
  10. That is why I suggested the properties file - then servers could decide themselves which traits they wanted removable by true/false settings.
  11. It would be great to have a mod that added the removal of the neutral traits - Fight Fiercely, Tough Bugger, Keen Senses, Certain Spark - to the Genesis spell. Ideally done with a properties file that could allow for server owners to add them individually by a true/false switch. If anyone has the inclination to make such a mod I'm fairly sure it would be appreciated by many!

  13. OK...fishing spot problem was due to too shallow seas. I've made them much deeper in places and now spots have appeared. As for the bones.....well I have the GM Thank you for the help.

  15. I have a question. We suspect that we don't have special fishing spots because our seafloor is too shallow. No one has triggered the "Out to Sea" achievement. Consequently I'm wondering if using your GM Set Height mod will work underwater to drop the sea floor to a greater depth in places which will then allow the special tiles to spawn. I'm guessing it would be faster than digging out tiles manually?
  16. Ah...cheers. I didn't realize that had been modded on Budda's server I guess I'm looking for a good boat mod now then! It's odd though as I get an option for instance to transfer rarity to a floor loom.
  17. I'm not 100% sure whether the following are server or client issues, but as they affect everyone I'm guessing server somehow. If anyone recognizes the cause it would be a great help to know. The first issue is boats. For some reason we can't cast WoA on a boat, and today after our first Dragon hunts we have found we can't transfer bone rarity to a boat either. Anyone any clue? The second is special fishing spots....we just don't seem to have them at all...again...no idea why not. Thanks for your time to read this, and if you can help at all it would be fantastic.
  18. Unfortunately doing that would flood the available amount and reduce the value. Basically a single vein capped at 50 hits *nearly* makes a full set of unimped plate which isn't very useful. However if you can imp it with steel using both earned skill in metallurgy & smithing it produces a limited amount of, but still useful product. The same is true for weapons.
  19. Yes....the other option is to use the mod to remove the quantity cap and go from there. I'm not quite sure if I understood your 2nd suggestion.......do you mean creating new moonmetal somehow? Basically the idea is to make the find of a moonmetal vein at least useful - at the 50 cap it isn't quite a set of plate......and then is worthless until imped. What I'm after is making it useful without flooding the server with it. Hence imping with steel. Unrestricted veins would probably work as well though as they would be varied by ql, and mining skill, so it would just be a question of getting the distribution right.
