the defined addiction you have of learning is not the same as i would define for myself. i would say each person has there own thing they cling to. personally i find myself digging for details and attempting to understand mechanics, how they apply what peniltys. or restrictions there is and how they relate to other things. example. i was a eve online player stopped played recently "started in 2003" in eve my personal goal was to understand every game mechanic. how/why/and where it applys/works and with this knowledge i was known by friend as the eve-almanac.i still don't know everything tho. alot of eve requires first hand use. not just theory. wurm is very much different but its not at the same time. but this also runs thru my day to day Real Life experences. from my job. to what i can do when friends or family needs help with stuff. but it all boils down to. its a very interesting trait. but the only thing to remember this type of trait require alot of time and energy.

The first time I started playing Wurm Was a few weeks ago. I had a friend talk about this game and I said Hell I'm bored with eve online and tekkit has become annoying beyond holy &&$& So I logged in spent nearly 45 minutes to an hour thru the tutorial reading nearly Everything in the whole tutorial. After realizing I didn't do the tree cut down step The last part was easy. I finally got to pick a server. And seems cause I wasn't a paid member at the time I was sent to exo. That's fine with me So I get to that world and wonder around the starting city trying so hard to cut trees down for wood And so I venture off in a random direction cause the compass was realllllly slow to calibrate Found a private mine with a red sign. Keep going. Found a big 7 x 30 area flattened for a future farm Then relized this was claimed land and I couldn't do a thing. So I walked 50 or more lies thru the desert Hiding from the spiders cause I seen them and there corpses on the road Cut a tree down relized I can't carry more then 3 logs and wondered wtf do I do now Logged out. Raged to my brother how annoying this game is Next day my friend wedgetail and nacka was on ts chasing and running from spiders So I logged in. Just to have to walk for nearly 1 1/2 hours to where thy made a base camp And that's history My first death was before I logged out the first time

I'm a newer player to wurm And I started playing eve in 2003 been playing it off and on the whole time Both are great games in there own way and I play each for different reasons Wurm is a sandbox on a planet and eve is the epic sandbox struggle over space and market Both worth voting for but I voted wurm

I would be happy with a GUI crafting ui " window with icons " And it would have Subsections for each field. When I get home I will mspaint something after work. But this would have to be a rewrite of the current system I have seen many crafting systems I think researching them eq2 was nice Vanguard was a interesting system for crafting But as end product I like this one. Unfinished product Imp, refine and polish. Then poop finished " the current system is slightly hard to nav when you are new but Once you have used it a little bit it's quick " A GUI like crafting system would slow crafting down For the fact some items are done by items placed on the ground "large anvil" So we have to think how we have a good fix for crafting that doesn't completely mangle How we know how to use the ui. Cheap rain barrels that are ment to catch rain when placed outside Regains water very slowly while there is none snow like storms This would be the alternative to carry barrels of water from the shore when you live Deep inland and you lack the ability or coinage to get a well Not very slow water gain. Small barrel but clay added to help seal it for water storage and collection Thought? Yes this isn't a end game thing but would be a neat feature for makeshift camps
