Is it to maintain a happy team and stable server? Grow userbases to be popular? Or settle for niche group but reap much money? Or maybe tons of potentials to sell to bigger company? Each use different approach and use different degree of resources and human talents. As a player I hate p2w, especially model used in mobile games, but they are effective.. some more effective if the game is fun enough.

terraria was fun but compared to starbound, there wasn't much to do or collect... BUT.. I found terraria bosses and the corruption ravines more creatively challenging than starbound (recent giraffe update of starbound boss is challenging and fun, except people dont like it because it is 'too hard'). Lets see if the new terraria up to the task and have interesting mod clubs . In other hand, both games suffer on multiplayer as either you play with friend that both of you are clueless or get to endgame gears and play together with strangers -- else it won't be fun because the equips are gap to travel to locations or even do a dent to bossess :/

unless you are on pvp server, you arent even NEED to level any skill. I know. I have 200+ friends before I sell my main . What I did is just say 'sorry just hop on for meditation'. After a few days, they notice my habit and only pm / talk if Im on for awhile.

hi, you can only meditate 5 times each 30 minutes, then once every 3 hours or something.. I forgot that detail. It is realistic for me considering when I play utopia online, I woke up twice at nighttime workday to login, calculate an attack, do the attack, then go back to sleep. Neverthless, I dont do perfect meds, I only do perfect on most 5 times a day, not the rest. Theoritically to do the 5 meds a day would means 2 hours 30 minutes area which I dont think anyone except those in Japan dont have that time to login. Or sneak up once on every meal time and twice on free time. As for meditation tick gain... there are certain ways to increase the frequency. Regardless I am not sure theirs effectiveness these are some hints of each of em: location, newbie, carpet. Myself got most time 3 ticks average, surely there is some shitty days when I get 1 but rarely somehow.. Anyway, I have to revise my words tho as I just realize some wrong fact I drop. Apologize for misconception I created... It is possible to raise 70 in two months.
