    No sword or stone is allowed to be walled off, none has been afaik. Or at least not successfully.


  3. Currently there is a deed within the no deeding zone of the White light on Defiance. It's a problem because we can not sit there close to an enemy deed and charge multiple artis = why bother fighting if we can't keep more than one.

    I don't buy the argument of there's a work around you can bash the WL yourself to reset it. Why should we risk fighting outside an enemy deed to fix something that shouldn't have happened in the first place? It's not our responsibility.
    Also look through the patch notes of Wurm and see many many things fixed that had "work arounds".

     


  4. Suggestion, allow foraging and botanizing while mounted or increase the skill gain - searching for wurms is still good for foraging skill but digging up whole areas every time you want to grind :s . Allow the option to turn off on deed without a guard.

    if its broken why ask to keep it broken? instead of asking for the root of the issue to be fixed?


    They need to add it to the rules page, I legit never knew about that thread, to me if the rule isn't in the rule page I'm not paying any attention to any rumored rules.  Expecting players to trawl through forums to find threads to find rules is utter failure of player management. 
    At the very least additional rules should be in their own thread and linked to from the rules page.

    I don't see casting in a cave far from any action as PvP related, and VPNs are not forbidden right?
     


  7. Regarding the fickleness of PvP player numbers, I think you have a point that yes numbers historically have only temporary increased after new maps. But I don't think anyone is claiming it to be a silver bullet, and the people asking for some type of merge are long termers.
    Our gameplay content is other players, less so the game itself, there is no PvP without the P :D  So having us split up is a detriment to our enjoyment of the game. 
    We do believe it will benefit the game long term, when new players come in and see more content and less dead servers they are more likely to stay.


    We are only asking for the bare minimum of dev time that we dare ask for in the hopes of actually getting something, whatever is easiest, if they talked to us they might be surprised at how seemingly small changes could have a huge impact.

  10. I feel like any plans without player input are going to be a big disappointment 😕 
    Wurm could put in a PvP player council group like EvEonline. It could help with many things, improved atmosphere, less complaining, Staff can communicate and influence the players reducing their workload with things like support tickets. But most importantly get feedback on potential changes. 
    Or even just a few scheduled discord discussions. 

    I think Krister said he wanted to have a single player rep, should we come up with 5? for a proposed a pvp council group? Thoughts? Personally I don't like the idea of 1.

    2. One time (2 week limited) first time transfer of FS, med path and faith, coming from SFI or NFI.  Not fair to a few NFI people but it's never going to be perfect.
