I suggested that so this same "system" is used on a core feature of this game and not just on 1 week lottery ticket Your original suggesting was guaranteed map after 5th roll without map and that can be exploited the same way you described as exploit for my imping suggestion: after the 5th roll you get your imbued pick or runned shovel and mine some high QL vein or dig dirt, way to get very high QL guaranteed map. I like the muse suggestion better, with a novice low ql map
  3. I was suggesting the pity system to be extended on the MOI that doesn't result with rare while imping, not the have a chance for treasure map while imping

  5. Orginaly -1 but, +1 only if there's pity system on MOI while improving stuff, as well, so it's fair for those of us that like to improve stuff can get that rare after 5 MOI without a rare. This is brought to you by kazilion times of MOI without a rare while improving stuff.

  9. I will use it, probably only the high ql map after a while. Expecting to be nerfed to the ground and made to be totally waste of time as another pointless feature in 3 months after launch, or sooner
  10. In third person the character is facing towards the mouse cursor, regardless of the camera orientation or the animation
  11. I agree that is accessible for everyone even tho only use of specific skills would reward you with a clue. The comparation with weaponsmithing isn't exactly the fair one, I do weaponsmithing so i can imp my weapons to higher ql and easier, if you get supreme it's like a bingo.For me skills are pretty much only thing in wurm that doesn't "Decay" and most valuable thing worth investing a time. But when you go out there after getting a clue, on a "treasure hunting" and REGARDLESS of the mechanic, i am guessing you would be expecting a chance for actual treasure, not excuse to get out of your deed that me personally doesn't need. It doesn't have to be consistent garanteed set of value, but imo it have to include that "OMG i got a bingo" moment There was some suggestion in here wanting weirder rewards and rare bone fragments which is pretty cool can you can always ask the community what's their ultimate treasure. For the mechanic etc, i don't mind the current state and kinda like it to be honest, way better then new fishing. Maybe include a leader board with monthly best treasure hunting reward etc, it doesn't have to be any special, a titles is enough
  12. Having expectation relate with being passionate about something. Did anyone expectation were meet tho, beside Archaed's? What's the point in doing something that only going to meet no expectation or the lowest expectations possible. I am kinda tired of criticizing the obvious. Hope the rewards are going to be better so this update makes sense and it's not just another thing no one uses/or doing.
  13. +1 for the next "Grand new server opening", but even then it won't save any poor decision making that this game been cursed with. At this current state, idk how many players are going to benefit this, but my guess is , not much. Still, it's nice if new players in general taste the apparently now two different games and have chance to revert any poor decision of where to play.

  15. Yeah Cadence is not a new server anymore. But latest on NFI cluster, i guess. The same treatment should get Xanadu then, fort SFI cluster, refer it as a new server. Also in Freedom isles (SFI) description there's a kind of warning that teft is a risk and it's your responsabilty to secure your items with locks and stuff. Who there's no such warning for NFI to scare people off from a theft? So, where do you dig this info? Can you point us so we can see what's the difference and make decision where we wanna play? I mean, if it's a not a secret. It's nice if people have a proper info and then decide themself where they wanna play, not just being assumed or being just told where should play or what experince they wanna have

Having too much time, or way more time to spend then someone else, doing whatever doesn't make you less casual or more passionate, even tho you should be rewarded per say if you feel you entilted for it. I was talking about why someone wouldn't invest their time in something inconvenient other then lack of focus. And for me that's more expanding it's gamescope more then any catering to anyone, at this point. If you ever find the sailing and navigating itself for hours and hours rewarding, then by all means keep doing it and shouldn't bother you if someone else find it not rewarding. Like myself, i think sprout picking is wasting the time you might otherwise invest in grinding WS. But it doesn't bother me at all if you do it.

Not just insta-gamers, if your average working joe at the end of the day, having the remaining 5-6 hours of the day to split between family, friends, some home chores or entertainment, i don't think any significant amount of it would be alocated to something that can be refered as "second job", be it a game or whatever About the traveling, it's nice to have it both options in any game, i think. Not everyone should be forced to endure the joy of exploration if anything else the reaching destination is waste of time for them. For those that have time and willingless to spend the time exploring, can do so on their own pace and shouldn't bother them how someone else is traveling, unless it's competitive.
  19. I always had impression that the game treat an "alt" like a whole new customer. They still have to pay for premium and still a player have to put significant amount of effort to get anything accomplished. you can buy tomes for marks so it's not like going to swamp anything that isn't already swamped
  20. You have a point but still, if "vets farming alts for them" wasn't an option, then they shouldn't have made them easier to accomplish in a first place. I am not exactly sure if i remember right, but i think you had a chance to influence against as public relation assistant/coordinator. Alts been pretty much integral part of wurm player base and neccessery if you care to have a priest, different kind of priest or another settlement and much more i think. From a new player perspective, too many windows of opportunity been shut on them already.
