  1. I've got an old character on Deliverance and I just want to get rid of the currency on his person. I have 9s, 89c, and 99i. I would like to sell all of it for 9 euro.
  2. Lokked, check out this forum page: http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/71037-the-wurm-academy/
  3. I'm down to join. I'll get on TS when I can. EDIT: I am using my phone to get on the TS while I am at work. Could someone try talking to "Dorrim"?
  4. What's annoying about PTT? Don't have a mouse with an extra button? AFAIK leftctrl doesn't have a function in Wurm, and that seems like a decent PTT key... I have no idea on the settlement name.
  5. When I get home from work, I will officially set up the TS server. Otherwise PM me for my contact info and we can go from there.
  6. I'll be foreveralone with you guys. How can I contact you?
  7. +1 With my Mumble and/or TS it should be easy to get in contact with me. If you have Steam, look up "Cpl. Fisher[82nd AB]"
  8. Will those Epic only characters be able to transfer with their skills?
  9. So... that video was pretty awesome. Now I am really itching to make a stone first floor and wooden second and third floor.
  10. Meaning you can bring money over from a current character, or you can buy it when you make the character? Because I didn't mean you couldn't BUY money, just that you didn't START with money.
  11. My plan is to initially stick near the spawn and get some skills raised. Maybe throw up a small shack we can hide our stuff in. My main focus is clearing some sort of "road" out of spawn and into the wild. Preferably to a lake or a coast. Then we can settle near the coast or near a lake. My current home is on Deliverance, near Puzzles in the mountains nearby. I took the time to clear the land up there and make a multi-stepped plateau to give you some refernce as to how willing I am to terraform. One cool thing I saw EARLY in my Wurm life was a nice, huge flat area, roughly the size of the min deed at the time (11x11) that had raised up dirt walls with pallisades on them. Looked like it could be really defensable in real life. I might want to do somethign like that near the spawn to give out supplies to newbies.
  12. New characters only, no skills, no money, spiders only, final destination.
  13. Hey, to be fair, if I hadn't read the instructions I probably would have moved the system while it was on and scratched a game or two. Instructions have warnings too~
  14. I hope there will be a "rush" though to Wurm... a rush might be like ten players. If you'd like to team up, I have a thread up asking for members. Yes, you need to have premium to get silver to buy a settlement deed, but if you look at the options page when you go to purchase, you can get some gametime and silver in one package. With how little infrastructure the server is going to have (ie roads) I doubt players will be able to get too far off from the beaten path (since there isn't one!) too quickly.
  15. I never said I worked in software development
  16. Ha ha, I'm at work right now I guess I am a bad employee...
  17. So... Wurm online isn't being run properly?
  18. When I get in, I'll focus on smithing, if someone will get my back and work on clearing an area and setting up a sickle depository...
  19. Companies also run under someone's supervision. If I am making an update to some software, my boss isn't going to let it slide when I say it will take a week when he knows it should only take a day or two. Sure it sounds good to underpromise, but unless you have ever worked under a deadline, you will never know what it is like to have a reasonable expectation of getting something finished on time, and suddenly something goes very, very wrong and you have to delay the release. Stuff happens. You can't possibly accurately predict your release date, unless you have everything done wayyyy before hand and you only toss out a date or time to have some specific meaning. like the 12/12/12 at 12:12 gmt. Bleh, it's pointless to talk about realites to people who have never had to face those realites.
