I found the problem and the fix! I discovered that my computer was behind a company firewall that prevented access to the login server. Using a free VPN tunnel app, I was able to bypass this pretty easily. Thanks for your help folks! ~Soniczap

I'm afraid I had no luck with this either.

I've tried the latest version of Java, both 32 bit and 64 bit as well as Java 6 and 7 with no luck.

Just to clarify: I'm running on Windows 7 Pro

Hi Folks, I'm trying to log into Wurm and can not even get to the launcher. Upon downloading and running the Wurmclient.jnlp, it simply crashes saying "Unable to launch application". I've gone through the forums and tried many things including: - Using different versions of Java (6, 7, 8, 32bit, 64bit) - Opening regular Wurm Client and Unstable version - Disabling all firewalls and antivirus - Updating Intel HD 4600 drivers Regardless of what I try, I can not get into the launcher. I just want to express how proud I am of the progress Ultimarus has made in the past few months. The decision to appoint Elwood as the mayor of Ultimarus was difficult. Though I trusted Elwood's character and mayoral abilities, having to relinquish control of the city that means so much to me was hard to do. I can say with all honesty that it was the best decision I made as the founder. Elwood has revitalized Ultimarus and, along with the help of the management team, has created a welcoming, creative, friendly and fun environment! We have a great bunch of neighbors in the area I also wanted to thank everyone for thier efforts in completing the Collosuss and barracks projects. Even if you're not interested in joining, you're more than welcome to use one of our Guest Houses untill you get your feet on the ground. There is always someone on between our citizens and friendly neighbors. - will let me butch the animals and supply the village with meat * We don't have a butcher or an animal ranch right now. This would be a welcome asset to the city and you'd be given as much on-deed space as you'd need. - is next to, or within a reasonable distance, from the ocean (I have a cog) * The Merchant Town harbor is about a 5 minute direct walk from Ultimarus. The highway that leads there is well marked and secured with two guard towers. - will let me build a 3x5 wooden house (can do 3x4 if space is limited) * Space is defintly not limited. you can do better than 3x5! ;D - the village is not particularly difficult to get to and from * Ultimarus is right outside of Samling/Xanadu/Merchant Town, and right off a major highway.
