  1. I was looking at the screen shots and thinking how awesome it is to finally see Wurm on steam. I know you guys have been working on this Project (Wurm) for years now and have had many ups and downs. Its been a really long road for you guys and not all of the players were easy to work with. I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for all your dedicated hard work and for those holidays that you missed with your family's to fix or get things ready for us the players. I don't know if all of Code Club reads English so I will post another with a translation. So...Thank you all at Code Club AB for bringing Wurm into our homes and giving us the opportunity to experience your magical world know as Wurm. Here is to many more Adventures and Misadventures in that world. Thank you for everything you do for us the players. And I hope it continues to bring you as much Fortune as it has brought us so much enjoyable entertainment.   5. Are you using a CAT5 with a standard RJ45 connector or are you using a cross over cable? Are you doing PC-to-PC or a using a router? You said V-LAN so again are you using a router? Are you behind a firewall and are the ports open? Did you check to see if your IP's are correct because you will have to do a direct IP connection from each. There is so much we don't know about your set up.

  10. Anyone who is buying WU is a new player as WU is technically a different game. And the fact that no one really has WU yet means they will be first time buyers.
  11. 3000 huh? Lets just hypothesize that they are all new buyers, and lets go off of a $23 price. That's $69,000. I don't know if that is a good number or not for them. That is 1 year wages. divided between a 5 man team if it was equal shares, $13,800 per person. That is poverty level income. Now it could just be kept in the company to fill the coffers some more and extend the life of it.

Just take the class used for the trader in game, use it as a starting point, then you would have to code the actions, movement, responses, and any survival immersion you wanted to have on NPC'S. Well damn that's a lot of coding for a very very basic NPC. Maybe take some code from the creatures like horses and you can cannibalize it for some of those so you wouldn't have to re-do it. this would cut out a lot of the simpler things. LOL..all the bugs would be funny like, the names your NPC's would get, Silver-Strider, Great-Cantor..and not to mention they would need a pen with grass or they would starve..haha. its a start at least! ok so I keep thinking about all the bugs....you would be able to ride NPCs and any other traits that horses would get. Definitely would need to debug it and make sure you get all that taken care of before you drop it on steam. Might be better to use a generic creature instead of something that is so interactive with the player. Maybe a dog.
  15. all you have to do is copy the class/object of a tree template in game, once done just recreate it with new model and modified generation variables. Then upload on steam as a mod. I cant see a reason for these other than cosmetics tho.
  16. Why not just create a new item that allows creation and placement of clay pits in a 3x3 area. add it to the trader so its purchasable. Once I have access to the code I can add this rather easily.

    diving for coral and pearls, oysters and new things that populate the underwater layer would be awesome -1 why what aspect of the game is made better by spending the time/energy/effort/manpower to make this a reality??? mabey jewelry crafting?? lets spend that energy on things that actually will make a moderate impact on the game.

    I see some visuals on the sails of a few boats, will they be modifiable so that kingdoms can place there logo's or hopefully some thing like the shop sings where we can pick one that we want to use?
