Absolutely 100% yes +1 Fail rates on basic building block items that we need thousands of is bad design. Wurm needs to be more practically designed to survive. Obtuse mechanics like this are the reason Wurm has been unable to grow and continues to slowly die. To anyone worried about the effects this would have on the mortar "market" or "economy"... I really don't know what to tell you other than it's a market that deserves to die lol. Oh no my entire portfolio is invested in mortar! Mortar futures are in shambles! We will never financially recover from this...

(Full disclosure I have not played a Rift since the latest update due to them all being in the middle of the night for me so far) So is the complaint here that the new rifts are too short and you are getting fewer points as a result? Because even in your "after" screenshot you have 357 which seems on the higher end from what I've seen at rifts. Note: 90% of my rift experience is on Cadence if that matters (maybe we are all just noobs lol) Are you just getting significantly fewer reward points after rifts now which is the problem? Extending the time it takes to complete a Rift isn't the way to go. Wurm combat is garbage (a total teardown lol) and unless it's completely gutted and changed, making a combat event that requires several hours of engagement to receive a reward is only going to alienate more players (both current and potential future players) If people are getting so few reward points now it's not worth anyone's time, that something that should be addressed absolutely. But returning Rifts to the several hour long slogs they were before would be a mistake. Even at an hour long that's pushing it, given the gameplay experience they offer.

+1 This is a great idea! I would love to see something like this added. Something more active for the player to actually get involved in working towards a goal. The current setup for gaining faith is way too limited. You either accept that you can either just pray and accept you will never achieve higher faith or just make the character a dedicated afk alt at a sermon circle for a month or two.

This was a great idea 5 or so months ago when it was first posted and it's still great idea today. Absolutely baffling that meditation as a whole is as horrible as it is without ever being altered. But then again...I suppose that's pretty par for the course in Wurm lol...

I haven't heard of any new ones on Cadence since the release period. If they are intentionally this rare that's hilarious given how lackluster they are. Perhaps something has gone wrong though preventing them for occurring or being discovered

I bought an Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 about a year and a half ago when I needed a new PC and couldn't justify building at the time due to the exorbitant GPU prices (still can't lol)...I was super skeptical of buying a gaming laptop at first but it's been great! When I'm Wurming at my peak it can handle my primary instance of Wurm at 1440p and very high settings along with 7 other instance of Wurm for my alts (granted they are all on minimum settings) I've never had any issues. Might be too large for what you are looking for though as it has a 15.6" screen. It is shockingly thin and light in my opinion however. I can't believe how powerful it is given the fact it barely weighs over 3 pounds and is like a half inch thick. The Zephyrus line comes in a 14" size as well if you want smaller. I can provide a more detailed write up of my thoughts on the device or answer any questions if you think you might be interested in going this direction.

Yikes. I was worried they would start balancing the Holy Sites by nerfing Mag rather than buffing the others. In my experience the Mag one was fine (and at least almost useful) The others are just so trash that it makes the Mag one seem too good. I see Holy Sites ending up as dead content. I don't think the rewards will be tempting enough to keep enough players to even fulfill their most basic addition to the game, that of being an impromptu makeshift sermon circle. I got moon metal 4 times in an entire week at the Cadence Mag site. This was unhealthy levels of playtime too (12 hour days, rarely missing a single rummage) I don't see how that needed to be reduced. EDIT: Annuile, you got 20kg of MM?!? How bad was my RNG.. This is a great change though. Was desperately needed. I was getting tired of having to re-open my event log repeatedly so I could CTRL+F "pulse" One of the first changes to already lackluster new content being a nerf is really bumming me out here lol.

Yeah I think I'm on board with this +1 I suppose we would still have to deal with the smoke on the 2nd floor (wish we could have the chimney vent out the back lol) but this would be a huge improvement!

Yikes. Sorry to hear that. Intentionally stealing a sermon slot is the worst. Especially when the stakes are that high! What were the skill ticks like close to the slaying??? There was like 450 of us at peak (granted not everyone was staying near the sermon area so you couldn't get them all ever...) As a side point. Would anyone have a link to this public spreadsheet? I tried asking about the rotation a few times (both the day prior and the day of) but no one ever responded, and this is the first I'm hearing of a public schedule document somewhere for sermons like these. I would love to see it!
