It's too late to return "Chaos" back to its original state, most of the pvpers play on epic now. The only way you could make it attractive is reset the map,unique animals/items to even have it make a possible come back.

Join a village with a group of knowledgeable people such as Xallo's village on Exodus, they're all good people and have pretty much experienced everything you can in Wurm.
