  2. R.I.P Trader Marmaduke, hired with hard earned silvers approx 2 months before the disband of Crystal Oracle on March 9. This was my priest deed, Duke was placed with my fighter who I swear had his own deed by the time I placed him, the priest wouldn't even be able to reach that spot to do it. Thus shouldn't have been associated with the disbanded deed at all so I'm still confused about why he actually disappeared.
  3. I'd hardly say it was rare either, maybe 1 in 5 mobs seem to attack your untamed mount. No one likes it QFT. Surely, surely there's a better way. and don't call me Shirley
  4. I fear this is my idea or a variation of it. One of the best aspects is allowing all skill ranges the opportunity to get on to Elevation. A lot of people choose Epic with adventure and battle in mind and get stuck on the homeservers once they've arrived on one. I think now the kingdoms will be able to evolve from the starter positions on Ele and it should result in a much better Epic experience for almost everyone. Can't see too many downsides but it's going to be interesting to see how much of a game changer this is.
  5. Self harm doesn't get too much good press. You probably harmed the bloodletting idea beyond redemption just with the title here. I'd rather see heads on poles and other gory trophies put ingame first, if Wurm decides to get more gritty at all.

  7. Seems like a lot of people were envisioning a smaller, more rustic stone bridge for their personal on deed stream. These look like their aimed at the larger functional scale. The only real point I'd make is that a design like Xallo posted 'might' cover both these bases better than the more professional looking river crossing here. I would like to see something architecturally quirky with them but I certainly like these as they are for larger scale crossings.
  8. In the beginning it was the ambience of just being in the game, not knowing much and discovering tools etc if you explored. Now it's to try to put something permanent in my kingdom, the best place I can make over quite a long period. Later I hope it will be somewhere that was worth doing, that will make at least a bit of difference. That revolves around the gamegrowing rather than failing, which I'm optimistic about with the new dev rate. And JK of course

  10. Not going to be spending anything if I can hold off. Will work my way up slowly from the most menial of jobs, grinning and bearing it and enjoying every minute. I love the original ship I saw tho iirc, the pivoting one I think Roberts showcased, Hornet I think.
  11. So you just want more standard PvE islands to sail to? I'm unfamiliar with why you will be traveling from P&R to Exodus in a PvE context so bear with me here.
  12. It would be a nice tradeoff for those on P&R that don't want to be part of the main PvE cluster. I'm sure there'd be a safe route through the waters made and maintained by the more adventurous Freedomers, sooner rather than later. That sounds like a great opportunity to add a twist to the cluster to me. Don't dismiss it out of hand completely, imo. Wasted opportunity again, actually sounds something like fun for all involved, imo too. Shame.

I always imagine quaint little drawbridges a bit like canal locks when I think of this, no idea if these exist irl but they'd be small enough at 1, 2 or 3 tiles wide and manually operated from the water's edge (the way I imagine them anyway). Wurm should have original designs over rl designs anyway I think.
  24. You can't make them perfectly horizontal, has to be at least a 1 slope.
