  2. Same here actually. There are many times I miss those days. Though, if the OP also counts MUDs in their question, then I'd have to say that Terris (now called Legends of Terris) was my first.
  3. As requested by Vayu, here's my issue. I am an officer on a deed. I have been able to bash every wall that was half on, half off our deed. The owner hasn't been seen in over four years and I found the half-decayed building to be an eyesore. Again, able to bash every wall, but three on the third level, which I wasn't able to reach because the ladders had long since decay. I kept getting this error: [11:55:37] You need permission in order to make modifications to this structure. Again, every other wall was bashable. Below is an image of the walls that I couldn't bash. As of this posting, the GM has removed the offending walls, but this is a bug that he asked to be addressed. Thank you for your time, fellas. I will be available for additional details if needed.
  4. And make it so that certain monkeys will steal your tools and you'd have to track them down to get your stuff back.
  5. Lunalong 2021

Since Kaylessa was kind enough to volunteer me to come along with her, I can come and help out with blacksmithing.
  6. It was my pleasure! I'm glad you got it to work!!
  7. I'm going to be running it again myself soon and drag my friend along for the ride. 😊
  8. AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

You're all nuts... and I love you all for it.
  9. Until we can figure out how to best go about this issue, I have set the article as being "Out of Date". Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
  10. How did I miss that one? Thank you Oblivionnreaver; I will remove the entry from the wiki.
  11. So, I tried to trace when Dreadnaught Dynasty disbanded but there wasn't a post I could find that verified when it happened so I just went with the date of the last post on the DD topic, which was in 2017. I looked through the patch notes for the entire year, from 2017 to 2018. Still no mention of the nerf. But here's what I'm going to do. I've been asking around and I've come to the theory that this nerf has been a complete placebo effect on the players that made the claim and that it became an urban legend. There was even an entry in the wiki that asked for more testing on it back in 2011 but was removed on September 11, 2012. So, I will reword the entry on the nerf unless someone can prove to me that it is indeed correct and then will I put it back up as a fact on the page.
  12. Yeah, the only references I could find in the forum was that the taming restriction didn't apply to followers of Nathan. In fact, one post back in 2018 from a Wiolo says, " If you have good taming than you can tame almost anything with Nathan." So I'm thinking that's how BLers got around that issue. Only references in the forum about Libila and taming comes from a post in 2013 where Aflacduck had mentioned in a post that BL had a "taming nerf" and a suggestion from that same year to introduce Battlepets to Wurm as a way to combat the nerf on Libila followers. But beyond that, I couldn't find any patch note or mention in the Valrei International posts that say it was ever fixed.
  13. I think you might be right. I’ll look into that and will update the page as necessary.
  14. Thank you for your help. I have made the edits you have suggested.
  15. Thank you for catching that. The info on the page has been updated.
  16. Did they ever had the animal sounds? I’ve been here (granted off and on) since Independence was first opened and I can’t remember a time when I did hear them moo or crow or neigh. I could be wrong though. But if the bird did sing a song, I’d laugh my tail off if they sung the Chocobo theme song. That’d be hilarious, even though this isn’t that game series. 😁
  17. I saw this just now and I have to say that it has been a wonderful few years that I joined you on your amazing deed and I am sad to know that this will be the last year that I get to join everyone there for the Shrimpalong. However, I understand that RL is far more important (congratulations on your wedding, BTW!!) and I hope you nothing but the best. Let's all work hard to make this Shrimpalong the BEST ever!
  18. I see what you did there, Retro. Amazing work, Dev Team! I look forward to seeing those planters in action!
  19. Looking good, Kaylessa!!! I look forward to seeing more as it progresses!!!
  20. In my personal opinion, I don't think we have to. This game does not need to be saved. It's doing quite well on its own. Sure, it's nowhere near the popularity or the fan base of World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV, the latter of the two I happen to play. Wurm Online is a special place and it gathers a very niche and understanding group of people who enjoy the game for what it is. And yes, this is a game and it should always be treated as a game. I do not login every day or even every week thinking, "Dang, this feels more like work. I should get paid for being here." And for reference, I am a child of the 80's, born in 1980, not far from the GenX people and I have to agree with elroth and everyone else here in that I do not share your views just because I was born during a certain era.
  21. Count me in again this year for Blacksmithing. And an inn room if there's still room available.
  22. No worries. Thank you for your prompt fix.
  23. So it must be something on their end. I guess we'd best be patient.
  24. Yeah, like maybe "Can't reach the servers." or something else helpful.
