I have a rare unfinished colossus of Fo for auction. It is my understanding that these unfinished rares are nerfed in game making this even extra rare. Unfortunately it can not be mailed so it will need to be traded. Pickup NE Indy (F22) Starting Bid - 5s Bid Increments- 1 s No Reserve 1 hour Sniper
  2. Please COD: Iron lump 74,33ql 71coc 75c to Seancarl. Edit: Item received promptly. Thank you!
  3. At this point, I have all the new colors and starting to get a respectable amount of 5 speeders as well. I guess the Jet Black will become the new hellies. My hell horses don't like the sound of that though.
  4. What was confusing about hitching hell horses was why you could hitch them when young, but couldn't when they aged. So, if you want to make the game less confusing, fix that. Make it so you can hitch them at any age. What you are doing is adding frustration. So, I could be out running around on the map and suddenly my horse(s) unhitch because it's passed some time (which I can't even properly monitor) leaving me with 1 or less horse attached. This is the very definition of confusing and frustrating. And how does the age of the helly do anything for "errors regarding speed calculations server side"? So you are unhitching them at Old and Venerable to fix this? Terrible explanation is terrible.
  5. 5 speed Ebony/Jet black Old male horse for sale. Located at Lothloriean Meadows (F 21), but I can deliver if motivated. I do have self service pens which would allow you to pick up at your convenience. [12:56:55] It has fleeter movement than normal. It has a strong body. It has lightning movement. It can carry more than average. It has very strong leg muscles. It has keen senses. Contact Seancarl or Journeya ingame for more information or questions.
  6. You thought a cart with horses attached was an abandoned cart? Really? You are being purposefully obtuse and using "scavenging" as an excuse to take stuff that doesn't belong to you. I agree, there is a lot of abandoned everything in this game and it can be a little difficult to discern the difference, but a cart with horses is not abandoned. If it were truly abandoned then the horses would be dead and I think you know that.
  7. Wurm might teach that, but in real life the criminals are punished anyway. So while the police might give you tips and suggestions to prevent future trouble, they will still go after the guy who committed the crime. That's what we lack here.
  8. I can personally attest to this as well. I have a jerk of a neighbor who terrorized the entire area for weeks (and continues to do so, albeit to a lesser degree). When the community decided to take action because the GM's wouldn't do anything to help, we erected a wall on our shared perimeter to separate the jerk from myself. It took all of 30 minutes before we had 4 GM's in local and we all get threatened with a ban if we continued the wall. I don't blame the GM's per say because I think they were operating under the rules Code Club set for Freedom but even a 12 year old running a private Minecraft server can see the difference between intentional griefing and a person just playing in their own sandbox.
  9. I'm really surprised and glad to see that MR is at least taking some responsibility for a guy wearing their tag. I think that says a lot for them as an alliance. This sort of resolution is ideal. Community fixing the community. The problem here isn't so much the player, but it's the mislabeling of Freedom as PvE. Rolf profits from the illusion that his game offers both PvE and PvP. He lures the unsuspecting PvE'er to the game and when their 100E drake sets gets stolen they get hit with the realization that Rolf's version of PvE is really just PvP Lite. It's false advertisement.
  10. (Closed)

I can help with both. Will PM
  11. I'll take one please - can pick up or if you'd like to deliver to Indy. Contact either Journeya or Seancarl in game.
  12. Ask Rolf, lol. The reason the link was provided is so the potential bidder could research what everyone had discovered thus far, not that it's exhaustive but it's a good place to start. Other that what others have reported, we don't know. A fair assumption is that it slows the attack of whatever you cast it on and duration depends on how good of a cast it is, which would fall in line with other spell effects like Fo's Oakshell or Willowspine (if you start asking what these do, I'm going to throw my keyboard through my monitor at you) One way to really get to the bottom of this mystery is to bid on it, win the bid then test to your hearts content. Then as a service to the community, if you were so inclined, you could report back with exactly this does, for what karma cost (something I was curious about myself), etc etc.
  13. I have no new information to add here, except to say that I too experienced tower guards attempting to kill my hell horse without being summoned to do so. This doesn't seem to occur all the time though as I have tower guards on my deed and haven't been bothered by them yet. On my deed, I have selected the option to not attack aggressive creatures, even though I don't even have a templar. So, my guess is that this is why I don't see them attempting to kill any of my hell horses on deed. Specifics about the tower that attacked my horse: - Tower is on a deed perimeter - I am not KOS on that deed - The hell horse was being ridden - The hell horse was not tamed at any time edit: Seems that I do get attacked on my deed as well, though not always. I'm currently sitting next to the guards on the HH and I'm not being bothered, but they did attack 5 minutes prior.
  14. Ha, classic. Busting out POG on me in an attempt to shame me for not agreeing with your point of view? For those who don't know, POG is a euphemism commonly used in the combat arms MOS. The concept is, if you aren't combat arms then you are a "piece of garbage". After all, if you're just a cook or in water purification your life isn't worth that of an Infantryman. It's an infantile concept used by infantile minds. It's akin to using other schoolyard bully tactics like calling people nerd, dork, dweeb, loser or one commonly used by the gaming PvP crowd, Carebear. All used in an attempt to emasculate or embarrass someone for not being like yourself. That said, I generally would agree with you. But in this instance my past may shape where I'm coming from. I used to enjoy PvP but now I don't and perhaps it is because of my past personal experiences. I'll leave this topic alone though. I think I've made my point and if the best argument you can come up with is "yeah, well, you're a POG" then I'm wasting my time discussing this topic. And maybe you are all right. Maybe I'm fighting windmills. This is all in my head and PvP is the example of how great we are as a society. Tribalism has worked in the past so there is no reason to rise above that, even in our fantasies. Lets get our kill on! \o/
  15. Consider this; can you find me one poll where the question is "PvP: Why don't you PvE?" Do you know why you don't find that poll? Because PvE players don't really care why others enjoy PvP. PvE doesn't depend on the actions of others to bring content to their game. For PvP, it depends on others. Without someone to bully/boss/enforce your will upon, PvP server loses it's appeal. What's the point of PvP without noobs to pwn, amirite? Don't pretend that it's purely scientific study of different play styles. PvP feeds off the metaphoric blood of new players to satiate the existing player base and these threads are attempts to draw in as many fresh faces as it can. So go on with these recruitment threads. I just wish you folks were more honest as to why you are "polling". Just say "hey, we're lonely over here because we generally abuse anyone/everyone and they quit. Wouldn't someone else like to come over so I can inflate my ego by having you submit to me in one way or another? It'd really make me feel more important in this world." Ok so I got a little hyperbolic there towards the end. I will admit that the PvP crowd in Wurm land doesn't seem as "schadenfreude" as I've seen in other games, but then again you get the likes of that Nosfirebird who seem to do just fine there so who really knows.
  16. You can be any or all of these things as long as the people who already exist there allow it in one way or another. PvP is a social game built around violence or the threat of violence. You can't set out to be the leader of anything unless you have the social skills. I appreciate the challenge that comes with trying to herd a bunch of cats. Building a house is a lot less engaging. I can see the appeal and some folks really get into it so I understand why folks PvP. I don't know. I've be involved in real PvP when I was in the Army serving in Iraq. I guess the fun of forcing your will upon people faded with that experience.
  17. I find it so very amusing how every game where PVE exists in the same realm as PVP, you get PVP oriented folks who constantly trying to coax PVE to "come join in the fun". The same rationale is used to attempt to get more folks on their servers/play style. But why? What is this constant need to convince people to play the way you like to play? What are you going to get out of it? My first thought is it is so you can have more targets which may translate to more "fun". I can see that argument, but given you are already established and familiar with the mechanics you naturally have an upper hand. So you're not looking for more of a challenge you just want the sense of having more "power" over others. The need to lord over people is the reason these topics always come up, in any game. Wurm's PVP offers nothing different from say, EvE PVP except that the mechanics are much more boring and that's saying a lot when compared to EvE. But, bottom line, I think people who PvE just don't want to deal with some blowhard telling them what to do. All you PvP folks like to live in your fantasy world where you are lorded over in some way or another, but to assume we all desire that is just silly. If PvP were really that much fun, then it would speak for itself. The fact that you constantly need to sell it should be an indication that it simply isn't that entertaining. I wish Rolf would get that through his head.

It is moored here. The name of the owner, Seancarl, has been etched in the stern. Ship is located NW Indy at a Deed named Lothorien Meadows I can transport it to the open waters, but that's about as far as I'm willing to take. Please contact me via the message boards.
