    I believe it would be a great idea to allow Colossus to have a glow to them. Meaning you can light them like a lamp, fireplace, etc and they glow at dusk and stop at dawn. Each could have a specific glow. IE: a green glow for Fo as he is the deity of the nature. Golden for Magranon. Red for Libila. Blue for Vynora. I look at my Fo colossus and although magnificent, at night I would love to be able to see him better. It doesn't have to be super bright. Just a faint glow of respect for our deities!     Sourcey Sorceries has opened South of Bruce's Flying Circus next to Gaffer's Gublin Hutt. It will be open before and after the public slays, where you can: Get your bloods mixed - both new and old ones (remember to bring source salt or crystals) Get your weapons and tools imbued (remember the correct potions and bloods for this) Donate potions and bloods if you are not going to use it yourself so people in need can get it Today's Special is Woodcutting Potions, so bring hatces! I do this for free and first comes first serves. (My natural substances is 95+ and will provide higher imbue and potion rates!) I gladly take donations in the form of source crystals, source salt, potions and bloods.

    At the moment this high end piece of furniture doesn't really do more than a small barrel with 10 jars in it, and it's only real feature is looking pretty. So I propose the following changes: 1. Allow the vials to be resized in a similar way to measuring jugs (only available if empty, current measure shown in the name to make things easier) 2. Liquids stored in this table DO NOT DECAY, AT ALL. 3. A special container for healing covers only; covers stored in here DO NOT DECAY.

    Hi, Is it maybe a possibility to save whether I play in 3rd person or first person? Like when I close the game in 3rd person view and I start the game up again it reminds that I prefer 3rd person view. Thanks, Timoka

    Let option to create a PMK with 10 members. Cannot create any merch (kingdom tents, wagons, banners, etc) except kingdom tabards for first 4-6 months if done this way. Have to keep at least 10 members for that 4-6 month window to stay valid. If have 25 members then can still create a PMK the normal way. Since PvP population is pretty small it makes it difficult to make a legit PMK for fighting on Chaos. With deeds and tower chaining not many want to go BL/HoTs since if want to create PMK later you have to redo all of what you've built. I know some PMK's are made for merch sales, but was hoping we could get another PMK creation option with some limitations for those who actually want to battle under a PMK more than merch sales.

    As some of you may be aware, fewer Uniques have been turning up to slayings recently. The cause of this has been an organized strike from the Uniques Union over working conditions. Conditions for them to resume include: Safer working conditions (workplace injuries and deaths are extremely common for Uniques!) Better pay (given we don't pay them, this is quite confusing) Better working environment (last year we gave them an entire lamp! Spoiled!) Better access to food (often, this is the fault of them for refusing to eat the meat we leave on the floor. If we remember to do so) While we are in negotiations over this, we have put in hiring flyers for temporary workers. To our luck, we have found one willing to work who is unaware (or otherwise weary) of the Uniques Union! Mr or Ms Forest Giant will be joining us this Sunday (as to not conflict with the 100 PAS party also this weekend), come and give them a warm Freedom Isles greeting at Bruce's Flying Circus, N13 - we're on the highway system! Turn up early or your pay will be docked. Our Unique Artist is also on strike (something about a lack of holiday hours for him to reach 100 channeling) but just imagine the front of the Circus with pickets on the floor, with a shadow of a Forest Giant cast over the whole scene.

    I don't use WA for much, although I know of its amazing uses. I just want to take the opportunity to thank you for all your work on it. It's always been amazing to see the support for the community in it, and how it has enriched so many peoples game

    We are discussing whether or not it makes sense for decorative items to be one-per-tile. I think the initial purpose of this restriction was somewhat confused: in some cases it was used to restrict things that provide certain effects (large planters, beds, etc). In other cases it was used as a means to indicate whether something was just "really big". The former is needed to balance the benefits of these items, but the latter seems a bit much.

    Ever feel like your vehicle is possessed? Here's a place to post your paranormal rides activities. How do you know if it is possessed? Does your vehicle levitate... Does it levitate your animals... Does it levitate you... Does it phase though solid rock... Does it toss you out and leave you behind... Dose it go invisible... Do your animals go invisible... If so then yes, your vehicle may be possessed! So please promptly post your pictorial proof of paranormal possessions and perhaps we can purge these pesky plaguing parasitic poltergeists!

    I did experiment with interdimensional travel as well last year. A GM did have to come and save me when I got too close to the warpgate. It was very unstable back then.

    In a lot of decorated rooms, it's the tapestry plus bed combo that's breaking beds. I can see why beds should be one per tile only - I hadn't clocked that it was possible to get around it, but why are tapestries that way? We can't use them to line both walls of a corridor either, and bedrooms are one of the few decorated spaces that people tend to want to put tapestries including in inns and taverns all over Wurm. Is there any scope for at least re-considering tapestries being part of this category? They don't provide any benefits except a little aesthetic customisation, and would avoid a significant amount of the broken bed issues players are going to log in and discover over the coming months, I think.

    So read this twice, and I'm unclear what you're trying to say. I have three priests, and one is always logged in doing something. Usually I have my Vyn logged on making cordage. Last week I had my Mag logged on a ton doing surface mining. Now that my cordage is *finally* well stocked my Fo will spend a lot of time on making string and cloth. I think what you're failing to see is yes, these are alts. They're working AS ALTS. If they weren't, I'd go crazy doing such boring tasks for hours on end. This would NOT be good for the game. People already complain that so many tasks are boring/reptative. So handing those tasks over to an alt is not a bad thing. People who complain that their priests have nothing to do aren't using them correctly IMO. Train them to do something besides channeling. My Vyn is 94 ropemaking. My Mag is 80 mining.. you get the drift. Those boring tasks you don't want to spend hours on are perfect for priests, plus you get the added bonus of having the priest to cast as needed.. Just my two cents.

    It has been a long while since I last explored this topic; so where is magic on wurm? Last time I wrote one of these was about 2 years ago (https://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/170073-the-state-of-pve-magic-fo/&tab=comments#comment-1734322) This mostly focused on balance, especially between the main 4 and player gods. So where to begin? As it currently stands, priests on wurm are largely extinct as mains in PvE; a survey conducted a short while back indicates that, if you're reading this, then the odds of you maining a priest are roughly the same as the odds you have 4+ priest alts. Each individual god has a few very useful spells that are in high demand, though generally the market for magic on the old cluster is largely extinct. Priests, on wurm, are alts; if this is the intent then the design is excellent and naught should be changed, but if it isn't the intent then something, somewhere, has gone horribly wrong. All of wurm's magic is tied to 2 skills; channeling and faith - faith unlocks the spells and channeling tweaks the RNG in the caster's favour. Faith is ground AFK, very much just pray once per X mins and sermon group till you hit 100. Channel grind is a little different; a loophole was closed a while back for using links to boost spell difficulty beyond a certain level, so high level channel grind is significantly slower now. However, even 50+ channeling is good for most lightweight spells, and at 80+ you'll be landing extremely powerful enchants fairly reliably. Overall, the magical design of wurm is almost entirely geared towards alting (2 skills to level, and you have the perfect enchant-bot), and significant reworking would be required to change this. Tying spells to additional skills other than channeling/faith would likely help here, however this is unlikely to ever happen due to the complexity and whale backlash. In terms of balance between the priests (in PvE), the ordering is (roughly) Mag<Fo<Lib<Vyn with Lib and Vyn pretty close with their pair of enchants. Fo is, situationally, the most useful (rifts with LoF), though outside of that area they're only really good for LT, Courier, Genesis, Humid Drizzle, Lurker in the Woods, and (rarely) Toxic+Venom casts. Genesis, in particular, is popular for breeders who don't have a pet Fo. Mag's Animal/Monster/Legendary Demise, (rarely) Blaze+Flaming aura, Disintegrate, Strongwall, Lurker in the Dark and Stone Strike form a reasonable casting core of both enchants and local spells. They really shine for Disintegrate and Stonewall, two spells everyone in the game eventually *needs*. Vyn has CoC and WoA (the best pair of enchants for skillers), Animal/Monster/Legendary Demise, AoSP, (rarely) frostbrand+glacial, Lurker in the Deep, Mend and Mind Stealer are why Vyn is the enchanting powerhouse. Though, mend offers some local utiltiy by being able to repair un-repairable items. Lib hit hard with BoTD, DM, Animal/Monster/Legendary Demise, Lurker in the Dark, Bloodthirst, Essence Drain, (limited to rifts) SoL, and AoSP give Lib a close second place to Vyn for enchanting powerhouse. They have some of Fo's utility (with DM), a strong weapon enchant (essence drain), the best armour enchant (AoSP), and a powerful tool enchant (BoTD). Overall, each priest has their use, but some are markedly less useful without a lot of travel (Mag and Fo). Fo, I would say, needs to travel the most, whereas Vyn priests can spend their lives chained to altars without losing any potency. With the removal of player gods, some form of balance has returned, though it's a generally tilted towards Vyn and Lib. With regards to priest content; since Sindusk's overhaul a few years ago, the only notable changes to priests have been nerfs, and one buff (humid drizzle being able to remove disease from players which helped out in events). However, there havn't been any real new spells for some time, which has made magic a little stale. It seems unlikely we'll see any new spells in the long run, or, indeed, any mid-late game magics added (a lot of functionality has been given to bless over the years). There has been a big push for crafter content, and priests have not been completely gated from this because they can now manage most tasks (though if you are seeking high QL results you are out of luck!). Still, this is better than the past where new content was entirely gated to priests. In conclusion, magic in wurm is currently geared towards alting, it is "reasonably balanced" with regards to PvE, but it hasn't seen any new content in a long time. The state of magic in wurm is, essentially, one of stale alts and an almost extinct priest-main player base. If this is the developers' vision for priests on wurm (as seems indicated by mechanical design), I congratulate them on a job well done.

    So, I made a few thousand padlocks, hoping to reach specific qualities (to be used as quality locks). Then I was thinking maybe I could just Sunder and Mend locks that was not suited quality, but nope, `[00:54:00] Your spell will not work on that.`. Does not have to be like this, but the ability to some how lets say get a q71 lock to be reduced to q70 would be nice

    In one hand there is the "restrict more planters cause it is imbalanced", in the other hand it is "Wurm is cool cause you can be creative with the mechanics". I remember in Vanilla wow, the most fun things was to pass thru places one should not be able to go (like find the path up the wall beside Orgrimmar to reach underneath, etc), etc. Wurm has many of these category things. It makes the game really cool! Maybe not all is needed, and some might be a bit too much. Just a very gentle note that I hope not all of these things will be "fixed". That said, it is also not needed to let all of them stay in game. A balance is good. And for us "creative" spirits, some flawed game mechanics is fun to play with (but yeah, remove the critical ones, no problem with that).

    Priests will always be "alts" unless priest restrictions are removed entirely. Problem there is that everyone would be priests (see WU), which is also undesirable. It's up to the player to decide whether they want to interact with everything (and thus use alts), or if they are satisfied with a single playstyle - priest or not. As it stands, the magic portion of the game is "functional" and I doubt that it's even being considered for improvement in the near future, despite how simple it is to create new spells. In regards to not receiving new content in a long time, you can say the same thing about almost any aspect of the game. There haven't been new weapons in an extremely long time. Warhammers are still unavailable to PvE players in spite of taking up a slot on the skill list.

    I must say that I am somewhat sad about the bed thing. When I built my small farmhouse, I had 2 tower like stories above the second floor. In the upper one was and is my bedroom, as a mayor overlooking the deed. On the story below, all 1 tile with ladder, there were the two beds of my citizens (ok alts), the space sufficed for the beds, and some small bookshelves, coffers, even a meditation rug. I am used to cramped spaces from my own youth, and from dwellings in Asia, Latin America and Africa where I lived and worked sometimes. Somehow I do not feel that such furnishing should be forbidden in Wurm. I fail to see any damage, exploit, or cheat by two beds on one tile.

    Simplify the cooking recipes for coffee... use some general simple amounts to set.. let us have this qol.. rather than be ocd maniacs setting measurements like 0.192kg water.... and same milk or w/e.. that is pretty insane amount of work to maximize gains per bean.. Seen some just not bother and use .100ml water directly, current recipes are pretty annoying. Big sips of 0.2kg are pretty big... we're big fat wurmians.. but that's pff.. a lot.. if it's not directly giving 100 power and 1hour buff.. I wouldnt mind to spend 5liters or 50 beans worth a day for full day of grinding something.. but some sort of that kind of measurement.. and some easier way to maintain the coffee buff should be taken into account.. Right now main issue is big sips, and impossible use of coffee once thirst bar is full. --edit used caffeine once since last change, only managed to get 40 power which was 1.5 or 1.6x multiplier at best, had ~30-40% thirst only, usually playing with ~70-90 and ~30-40% hunger so I can buff with aff pizzas/meals as same issue creeps from food once the bar is full Caffeine is simply useless(read impossible to control multipliers or use max if you want to) for grinds with alcohol spicing, even without the alcohol it's impossible to get 2x-4x multipliers now without spending hour/s to wait on thirst and rebuff with high ql caffeine drinks or using alts to make main puke.. even then it's impossible to maintain when using alcohol.

    1 per tile items where always intended to be 1 per tile regardless of the methods people found to bypass this restriction. People where using it to stack items that gave benefits and really needed to be 1 per tile and that is where the fix came from. I will bring up for discussion the side effects you mentioned as that was not our intended goal.

    Please considering making us able to drink while at full thirst in the mean time while you're debating how to balance things. That'd make the mechanic kind of usable in the mean time. At least for some people.

    Initial thought is that caffeine is completely unusable after the patch. I'm not sure what the intended mechanic is. Are we supposed to be at 0 water and then fill our water bar with it to get 100 power? And we do that 1x per day since your water bar will be too full to keep the buff up? I thought it was more or less fine before, as the extra fatigue use is a huge penalty. I've never come close to using my fatigue before, and burning off a whole bar of sleep bonus on my alt, I actually got within an hour of my fatigue cap. I thought it was great, as a way to quickly use sleep bonus for characters that can't play much. Thinking if I wanted to use caffeine on a consistent basis, I'll have my characters puking FAR more than I would have been prepatch. But it's probably not even worth it, honestly.

    The main thing is the purpose we intended for caffeine to have: A means for casual players to get a bit of an edge. Sleep bonus was intended to be this until it became readily available in the form of sleep powders. It wasn't intended to be the new meta for grinding high skills, though I saw that being inevitable. The changes we have on the table will bring caffeine more in line with the original intention, though it will still be something a heavy skill grinder can use when it's available. We honestly didn't intend on people puking to keep drinking it.
