8 pointsI know this is an old thing and probably posted a few times by now but still makes sailing tiring. Each time I cross over from one server to another, the game shows me swimming in the water despite the fact that the server counts me as being embarked on boat. It's one of those things that starts to gnaw at you after a while and it's a simple quality of life change that would do wonders for the sailing experience. Every time I have to disembark and re-embark again, it's not an end of the world bug, but at the same time it's one of those persistent nuisances in Wurm that shouldn't be a feature. There's plenty of such examples in the game we end up getting used to, but they should be fixed nonetheless. Any feedback ?

5 pointsI suggest to add hability to check high of ceiling with pickaxe over corners of mine tiles. I also suggest to check ceiling slope but seems harder to make simple interface.

3 pointssome weird things i've noticed shield grinding since the combat update 1. mobs will focus when not in combat, there just needs to be someone within 10 tiles or so of them, quite a few times i've entered combat with a hell scorp to find it's already focused up to its maximum. Their focus will also not drop if someones in the area, so if you're doing pen training with a large group of them, on the first loop most won't be focused, but once you finish all and start at the beginning, they'll all be focused up. 2. If there's multiple people in the area, they'll all always only target one person even if they can't path to them, but can to you, and when you enter combat with them, they won't turn towards you or change stance, so you can always be fighting with the mob facing away from you for - cr. should be prioritizing people it can path too 3. if you target something on the other side of a fence, but you're in combat with something else in range, the combat window strobes in and out non-stop and breaks combat 4. If you're shield training with something out of range targeted, the combat window doesn't leave until you get 2 tiles away from whatever way attacking you, if you enter combat with another mob without clearing the window, and you were already skillgain disabled from being in combat for over 15 minutes with the first mob, the new mob will also have skillgain disabled.

2 pointsWho out there has loads of useless rare slate/sandstone/round stone shards and bricks? I know I do! Who wouldn't want a rare slate forge or supreme marble oven? Please allow us to make slate, sandstone, round stone, pottery and marble forges and ovens, at least to start. This could be expanded further with more items in time and different texture forges and ovens would add many new decorating options. I believe this would be a great addition to the game and add some fun options for the community! Thank you for reading.

2 pointsWurm needs more events so the content doesn't become too stale. Other than the occasional impalong we don't have much going on. Content updates have been sparse recently and if we don't get huge updates (the AH update was a bust objectively which didn't alter the gameplay for the better, it's just...a different experience) at least give us some monthly events. Maybe scavenger hunts, easter egg hunts, puzzles, coop server goals, group challenges, something to liven up the atmosphere. The kingdom chats are pretty silent these days and gchat is as well. Hope some steps to boost the population through new events are considered. Our population is dwindling fast.

1 pointHello all! As per Samool’s post, I’ll be stepping up as the product manager for Wurm Online. Thank you for all the hard work you’ve done Samool. Working with you has been a pleasure, and I wish you all the best. I do hope you are able to bring your amazing skills back to us in the future. I’d like to start by saying that I am working on an updated road map, which may take a little more time before it’s ready, to ensure accuracy. What I can say right now is that we are shifting priorities a little: the Exploration update is still on the radar but will be pushed back to allow more time to finish and test it; in the meantime, we will be focusing on smaller suggestions, as well as some surprises for Halloween, all coming later this month. There is other content brewing as well, but I’ll leave that for teasing later! Map dumps will be coming around the New Year, as per our normal schedule, but they will include Northern Freedom Isles! Defiance will have a map dump that is delayed somewhat, with the actual delay still being determined; this is to protect fledgling villages that are still working on defenses. Finally, as a thank you for being patient with us, we will be running a 30% skill-gain and affinity bonus weekend at the end of this month. This will start with the update on the 28th of October and continue until midnight, server time, on the 4th of November (Thursday - Wednesday). Thank you all and happy Wurming! Edit: Due to some recommendations, we'll be doing a full week of bonus instead of just a weekend. This is to accommodate folks of varying play times.

1 pointNice job out running the Hell Hound and then kiting it down to the Guard Tower. Once the Tower Guards or a Spirit Templar engage a mob for you, back off 6 tiles away so the mob transfers its attention to the TG's and then you can run back in for Combat Exp, which will help your low FS skill level guy survive future encounters. Of course if a TG dies, Run away immediately up to 6 tiles as the mob will immediately retarget you. Then watch for blood splatter to fly, which will indicate it has targeted another TG and you can join back in. Looking forward to your next video. Cheers, Hughmonus

1 pointI had totally forgotten about that problem. They cannot even be traded to another player. Tam will turn them into a normal item on the weekend. They may then be dropped, placed in a container, or traded. The Gobbler might request them so players might like to trade for them. Regards from Pam

1 pointYes the Banquet may be vegetarian It may consist of any combination on items on those lists, for example copper frying pan, pottery jar etc. It doesn't need to be all food items. Or it could be all or most of the items. Or have some food items, and some other items. Also, lately Tam and I visited Stormfall, the server without clay and discovered "salads" lettuce and assorted mushroom, herb and vege in a plate with use of hand to cook it. We did not realise that existed at the time of the original lists. Probably quite a few items like fried vege cooked in a frying pan are in that category too. The Gobbler likes anything and everything. The lists are a guideline It may be either of those, choose which one you like the best. It may be on the first floor of a house. The Julbord feasting table is an item, I think it could be placed in a house. If not, we will find a solution at the time. As a GM I haven't been into a house of a player. I am assuming that would be possible. If not you would need to accept a visit from Acacia to place the table. Regards from Pam

1 point+1 , could be integrated as a server wide group coop challenge / building project. Build 5-6 docks on every server which can be used by dismounted players to travel between servers. Similar to how in classic WoW you could take the boat from Menethil Harbor to Auberdine. It's a way to explore the world. On top of that those docks could be used as a wagoneer system as well, perhaps even linked to privated deeds too in order to ferry goods to other deeds cross server. Can imagine some challenges in implementation but would be nice. Sailing in wurm, even with plot course is boring after a while especially if there's no winds. It's just automove without any sort of immersion or interaction.

1 pointPersonally I go slackware with e16 for wm which works pretty much seamlessly with the wurm right click menus for both game and OS. you can probably use any version of enlightenment on any linux though if that is the only part you care about. I run slack because slack is and always will be the best core philosophy distro, wurm just happens to run there with no issues because its a *nix.

1 pointCongratz keenan and for samool, really hope whatever issues you having get solved and wish you the best of luck goin forward. When that is said, you team getting smaller just make my concern grow bigger, not long ago you use 5 month to fix a broken update for one of your core mechanic, something many wurm players has built their playstyle around. So with the limited time you allready seems to have and now loosing another dev doesnt seems like a good match. a few words and some map dumps seems to make people dance again, atleast for awhile but from been a everyday player this made me totally cut off Wurm. Pushing back exploration update to allow it to get tested seems like a good idea, but i rather you mention fixing some of the long time bugs along side with adding some smaller things that has been suggested, my biggest frustration is the boarder crossing that ive lost many hours on. 1. Are you goin to hire a replacement? 2. Will you start taking care of the steam playerbase?(most player joining this days seems to be through steam but none of the devs has ever showed their face on steam making most leave this "dead game" 3. will you merge the playerbase soon? most of the servers has an unhealthy playerbase. 4. can we expect this devolepment updates to be monthly? Even if theres nothing new, just to say hey we still working on XXX helps alot. 5. will there be more of this events with 30% skill bonus? thinking more like having x amount of things to rotate with, so we can have this monthly and not just when you need to say "sorry", would work as a motivation i believe.

1 pointSounds like you've been through a really rough time this past year Samool. So sorry you've had to go through that. What's most important now is to take care of yourself and get better. Thank you for everything that you've done for Wurm. There are too many contributions to even list, but the one that really stands out to me is how Wurm transformed into such a gorgeous game those months before the Steam launch. Wurm has become something we can feel proud to show off thanks to the volumetric lighting, the new UI look and many other things you worked on. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you start to feel better soon!

1 pointSeptember News Greetings everyone! Monthly news post is a bit later than usual. Not too much to report, I've been a bit absent this month. But as the post above indicates, we've been joined by Hoseph! I am very pleased about this, because it means someone can help with the farming! Hoseph also happens to be training as a priest of Fo! While there are certain spells he cannot cast yet, I am excited that we now have priests of two different gods residing at the Academy Meanwhile, I am close to the point of being able to cast Wind of Ages, though my Channeling has a way to go before I can cast WoA/CoC reliably. But it is definitely progress! I am also pleased to report that Zelva, using one of her alts, has kindly been enchanting our pastures for the last while! Soon all of our animal pens and stables will have enchanted grass!

1 pointI fail to see how VR is going to help move Wurm forward let alone grow. I cannot believe that there are that many people who use VR who will now want to play Wurm. Seems to me that time could be spent on things that will help the game grow and retain players, I don't see VR being that thing.
