Hi everyone, First off, apologies for the lack of communication coming from us recently. I have personally been in a life situation where I couldn’t do a good enough job to keep you all up to date, but that’s not an excuse for not being prepared for it, as we were still lacking a community manager contractor (please remember Demona was still a volunteer). Fortunately others have stepped in to help out - thanks a lot Keenan ❤️ Anyways, let’s get to the things we’re working on. Obviously we’re not too happy with the current state of animal husbandry, and we’ve got multiple tweaks pending for the next update we release, including large changes to how traits are passed down (more likely to be passed down rather than replaced with random ones), lowering the chance of passing down negative traits as we’ve decided it was a bit too harsh, as well as significantly reducing the chance of getting traits not relevant to the animal, such as resource yield traits on animals that don’t produce any resources. We’re planning to release a smaller update next month, before the exploration update, and that will include those animal husbandry tweaks as well as some content additions. To fix the communication issues we’ve been having here a bit, we’ll be looking at getting some extra Community Managers on board to help with things, and until that time I’ll try to keep you all updated a bit better than how we’ve done recently. Lastly, while this might be a bit of unexpected news, it’s something we’ve teased in the past, long long ago, in one of the news posts - we’ll be starting development on adding VR functionality to Wurm, and while we can’t release any further details on it yet, we don’t expect it to derail development on the content features we’ve announced. Other than this feature, the last roadmap we posted is still relevant, and so there’s more exciting stuff to look forward to. Thanks for the attention, and keep on Wurming!

Awesome news! Not that awesome... Personally, I know my opinion isn't worth 2 boiled cabbages but Wurm right now needs a lot of development into other key areas : bugfixes, adding complexity to skills, people have been clamouring about wanting new mobs, cartography skills, new capes and clothing, adding incentive to play on Epic as maybe a 2 way skill transfer (with reduced skillgain from Epic to account for the curve), maybe add more journal goals, PvP updates or add a new way of trading in game (Auction house), marketing, hiring devs to develop some content, something that needs to be done about the staggering drop in player population, etc. Going VR seems....like something the parent company (GCG) would suggest to sell an alternative version of wurm for extra cash. A similar thing was done by the devs of 7 days to die, where after an entire year of no updates, all they did was add Twitch Integration to the game which pissed off the fans since after 1 year of nothing developed, all that was brought in was something entirely unnecessary that only added negative reviews. I don't think it's the right step. It just seems....too superfluous considering Wurm hasn't gotten a lot of development since the steam release which came with the player expectation with more funding = more development resources. Just my 2 boiled cabbages here. No offence but how many wurmians even own a vr set? 1 % ? Wurm seems to be the wrong demographic for that kind of thing. Maybe I'm wrong. Can I suggest to do a poll to see how many wurmians do want a VR update or support it as a critical allocation of dev resources?

Oh no, please don't waste time on VR for Wurm. You have far more important things to do. I constantly hear about how staff is stretched so thin as it is already and to put content on hold for VR updates. You say it won't slow down regular dev work, but seriously, how can that be possible? Game Chest hire a team to do the VR? Are you all getting paid for more hours in a work day to do the extra work? Where is the extra time and staffing coming from? I don't understand the motivation for VR. VR is going to look terrible anyway, with the current graphics and super weird vehicle movement physics. What happens to your last meal when your cart suddenly starts lurching at high speed, to catch up with all the movements you were attempting to do during a high latency period? You better get some pretty extensive protection clauses for everyone to sign before launching VR. I try not to be aggressively critical of new developments, but I have to say this one is just a bad idea and you are far better spending the time and resources elsewhere.

"Our very limited team of developers is going to take on an incredibly ambitious feature, but don't worry it won't affect development time." ??? how does software development work in Wurm world?

I for one, look forward to the implementation of this new Virtual Retching simulator. See, while all you's been making and selling tools/weapons, I've been stockpiling puke buckets to sell.

Its a novelty, nothing more. I would be interested to know the average play time of people sessions, but I know many people who put 10+ hours a day into Wurm. The game is set up for this style of play. VR is NOT set up for that 10+ hour of playing and grinding. Sure if done right it could look great on some deeds sometimes...but why is something like that having resources put into it when there are so many great suggestions that get ignored. I cannot think that there is a huge base of gamers that would flock to Wurm because it now has VR...seems like a weird direction to go.

Oh boy, when you think you saw everything. First of all, I'm very sorry to hear about your real life problems @Samool and everyone else in the team. I wish I can say that this post brings some piece to my mind, but i fear for this game even more. God i hope i'm wrong. Haven't got slightest idea how you plan to do VR integrated in Wurm, and on top of that make it that regular development doesn't suffer. Are you hiring someone who knows what he is doing and has expirience with VR or you just watched course on udemy and decided, heck why not. It does look to me like weird uneducated descision from game chest to me that you guys have to follow along and have crappy and ungratful job to let us know about it, but ofc you can never tell us that way 😅 After AH update, i'm not optimistic about exploration update either with it being shrouded in secrecy of details, nor i'm confident that ah fix will be total satisfaction, but hey, it can't be worst than current situation, again i hope i'm wrong, time will tell.. Anyway, yeah, VR seems like very weird direction, i certanly won't be using it anytime soon, even if i had VR set, playing VR is only novelty for short fun, and not way of regular full playing for hours, part of me still thinks this post is trolling lol. I just wish Wurm to survive months and years to come.

Since I am not a breeder and our breeder not cry a lot since PvP Server we can cycle trought one Generations/day I can´t say I have a problem wit the animal update so I paciently waiting for the exploration one. But to Wurm VR I have to say I am a bit pessimistic I'm just a dabbling beginner with programming and gameplay work so I probably fall in the classic dunning kruger trap, but is VR not super hard to do right? I know a few people that work on their small game projects or smaller game companies. While the whole atmosphere of Wurm is fitting for VR in my opinion, I sadly have high doubts that the experience will be delivered in a way that will do its justice. New UI elements since you don´t have a screen input the same way, new input methods, controlschema, FPS need to be stable to reduce eye stress, object interaction have probably to be rewritten for that since a VR control is more than just a mouse click etc. It's not just slap the current first person screen on the headset and the moment on the Joystick and call it done. It is a massive thing to do and in the current team I don't think you have the resources set to pull it of in a way that will make you happy and feels good for the game. I hope the Devteam get in contact with someone outside the team with experience in VR to counter check and iterate on their works in this regard.

Scarabaeus sacer Mob spawning in pairs in desert, two scarabs + manure ball. Non-aggressive, FS ~30 each of them. Drops: insect meat, chitinous armor that can be used to make shields. After collecting fertilizer, it can be used on fields, which will increase crops yields. Woolly rhinoceros Spawns in tundra, FS ~70, aggressive. Drops: meat, very large hide, horn and bone that can be made into one-handed bone club. It can be used to pull wagon, on similar rules to hell horses, two rhinoceros are enough to pull wagon. Horn can be crafted into horn container for drinking various liquors or hunting horn. The hunting horn makes a sound when used by a player, must be placed in quiver slot before use. Horn has slots, like toolbelt 1 slot for every 10ql. Player can enter a short text for each slot, for example "to attack", "withdraw" or any text other short text like "Hello there". If a player has a pet, pet obeys simple commands, other players can also see text of horn-command, so it can be useful for faster communication during group fights. Beaver Spawns near rivers and canals, cuts 2-3 trees near spawn site, and builds a dam to block river/canal. FS ~15, non-aggressive. Drops: pelt, fur, meat, teeth that can be added to necklace adds +10% skill gain for woodcutting Giant stick insect This is an insect that pretends to be a fallen tree. Spawns wherever there are trees, a tree cut down by a player or a beaver when it receives a decay hit, it can turn into this insect. FS depends on ql of tree, beavers cut 50ql trees, non-aggressive, when player approaches, it acts like a cow and starts to move Drops: new type of wood, cannot be obtained in any way other than loot from this mob Sundew Aggressive, FS ~35, shoots about 5 tiles with spikes, but can't move. When a small animal such as a dog, sheep, hen, pig, wolf are nearby, they are consumed and a new plant grows within 4-5 tiles. Drops: plant waste that can be used as fertilizer, it increases skill gain when working on field tile, Root from which it can be grown in a smaller and non-aggressive version in a pot. After collecting and squeezing liquid out of potted version, it can be used to scare away spiders and maybe other mobs too. Player must have a container with liquid and pour a little bit on ground, then spiders will avoid this place for some time. Bats FS ~10, they spawn in mines in groups of 2-3, sleep during the day, become aggressive at night, but they never leave mines. Their attack causes disorientation of character and changes movement directions, if player presses key set to move right, character moves to the left, if forward key is pressed, character will move back. Drops: bat guano a fertilizer that accelerates growth rate of both in field and in potted plants. Goblin fisherman FS ~15, aggressive. Spawns on a small boat in water. He has a bow and shoots at about 10 tiles. Drops: fish and treasure map, if player finds tile marked on map and starts digging there, sarcophagus spawns, when opened there may be low ql gems or single scarab or goblin mummy that comes to life and attacks player. Goblin mummy FS ~60, aggressive. Melee attack can curse player and lower his body stats for several hours. Can cast various gods offensive spells, teleport to several tiles, even during combat and summon aggressive scarabs. Drops: gems of medium quality, random low ql gold weapons with CoC spell. If mummy spawned from sarcophagus, brain of the mummy inside, the brain can be inserted into a necklace which will add +10% skill gain to alchemy and natural substances. Succubus FS depends on FS of encountered player, but not lower than 80, non-aggressive at start. If you have 90 FS, then succubus will have same level. The succubus appears as a normal character, opposite sex to player, with a nickname above head and is visible in local chat. She likes to travel along highways, ignores characters with newbie buffs. When the player is far away, the succubus asks for location because she is lost. When player gets closer, succubus asks for a favor, for a kiss to unlock the achievement on steam. When player fulfills succubus request, she reveals her true form (demon woman) and attacks player. She can teleport over short distances and attack from a distance with spells or can fight hand-to-hand. If single character stares her eyes for too long, they glow after few seconds and player loses control of his character. The succubus will not kill controlled character, but she can take 80% of his health and walk away after changing her form to non-aggressive. If more than one player fights succubus she can take control of one of characters and use it as her pet. A pet cannot kill another player, but it can take up to 70% of his health, after which character will be free, also pet-character cannot die by hand of another player, he will be released when his health drops below a certain level. Drops: Succubus heart can be added to a necklace that will increase skill gain by 5% OR +5 level* for any skill player uses right after wearing the necklace for first time, skill is permanently assigned to necklace and cannot be changed. *that means having 50 pottery with a necklace we will have 55 skill level, and if player reaches level 100, with necklace he will be able to have 105 skill level. EDIT: If the player tried to lure a succubus near tower or deed with a guards, succubus just before the transformation writes "help" in local chat and guards from tower fight on her side, and spirit guard they are useless because succubus never goes on deed in aggressive form. In its non-aggressive form, succubus cannot be attacked on PvE servers just like normal player.

I'll start out with, I'm new and I have no idea if I'm in the right forum. So the problem I'm having is; When a parent is "venerable fat bison" and name given is "B29", only venerable fat bison 'B is shown. There is no way to resize the column to show enough of the name. Please fix this so the name we give the animal can be shown or another column just for the given name. For horses the issue isn't so bad since "horse" is not added in this, just the age and the name. If we choose to rename the horse though that becomes the same issue. Examining the animal normally will show the names in the event window so that's the only work around right now that I can see. I can see this being an issue with any animal that has been renamed. https://prnt.sc/1q6km50 Thanks

Meditating fills up by chance hunger to max.. and this causes the issue of being impossible to use any affinity food - these are known problems with hunger & affinities for end game and completely ignored for years * metagaming, alts, extra premiums, bugging other people to help with making the character puke to lower hunger bar ... something that should otherwise exist in the game and not be causing frowns and facepalms by dumb rng or lag spikes causing hungerbar to fill up from meditating/eating(+lag long eating filling up the hunger bar) +add nibble(just 1 bite from food), it's dumb to select a stack and to be spamming like crazy the escape button, it's a feature, it's normally intended to buff up with 1 bite from good food, yet not actual feature in the game for years since cooking was introduced or .. Allow eating past 100% hunger, just like drinking is possible currently Allow us some way to reset affinity timers.. the addition time to existing affinity timers is far from optimal to use, aff timers are not set in stone and tiers to last only x hours.. using several foods leads to variety of timers expiring at different times - rebuffing is hell to manage - either ctrl+ L/Rclick on positive buff affinity icon to remove it or management from spell effects window, etc..

Rolf has not been involved in many years, the game has been sold to the "Industry business" folks that you mention. Your statement reads, at least to me, that you are supporting the very thing that you don't want. Wurm being sold and bought buy a business that is in the business to make money will do what they think is best for their asset. Some of us don't agree with the direction while others like it, that is up to each of us to have our opinions and voice them if we so desire. The next step is to start talking with their wallets if things are not going the direction that is desired. Its not good or bad, it is just simple facts of life. I don't think that we are near that point yet, though I know some have already made that decision to take their money somewhere else. I love Wurm and hope to see it around for many more years to come. When Wurm was young and Rolf was still in charge, he could have that "to hell" attitude. That is no longer an option for a business that wishes to keep the doors open. There is always a point where ownership/management cannot have that kind of attitude anymore. It is my thought that Wurm is no longer in the position to say "to hell" with what anyone else wants or says, at least not if they wish to have any kind of growth. With that said, I think it would be nice to know how much imput to decision making the current dev team has when it comes to the short term and long term goals of Wurm. How much influence do the "suits" have and what direction they wish to see Wurm go. I don't like the VR addition, I don't think it will bring in many new players or retain players. But I'm not against VR if what was shared is the case. That the work on it will not hinder the work on Wurm that needs to happen. Though if that is the case one could assume that they are hiring / have hired new people to do this VR work. If so, it is my opinion that the time and money spent on VR could be put into other aspects of the game that have been needing to be fixed or added for years now. That is just my two cents.

I don't remember exactly how long I've actively played... It has to be at least 5 years because I have the 2016 Bear Helm from Shrimpiie's Impalong. I play wurm because it's kind of cathartic. I can login and tend my farm, make some materials for a project or whatever else needs to be done & it's all on my schedule. I don't have anything pushing me to go faster other than myself. I find it very relaxing after my day job ( tight schedule ), caring for my grandmother, keeping the house semi-livable, etc. I can just login, chat with some fine folks ( and a few trolls ) and just relax. I don't have anything in the game that I *need* to do so if I login and literally do nothing but chat for an evening, it's just as productive as a night where I make materials and build a whole new building on deed.

Thanks for the update Samool. I do hope you and the team's RL situations has improved and that you're all doing better. Gotta say that VR is NOT something I'm interested in for Wurm though. Don't see any upside to integrating that into Wurm.

I fail to see how VR is going to help move Wurm forward let alone grow. I cannot believe that there are that many people who use VR who will now want to play Wurm. Seems to me that time could be spent on things that will help the game grow and retain players, I don't see VR being that thing.

No, don't do that. You cannot endorse that action on my behalf because I expressly and explicitly do not endorse it - and saying that you have faith in a staff member because of that action is indeed endorse the action. Likewise, do not attribute my objection to it to be based on a failure to understand it. The post was inappropriate, which means that it was subjectively not suited to the context. Objectively, it may well have been necessary, but not in isolation and not as the first communique from the HGM after a much-complained-about silence of months' duration. A professional authority figure should not ever lose their temper in their professional capacity - full stop. Imagine police thinking like that.

I've been one of the many that are highly disappointed and concerned at how the game is being managed right now. But, in light of recent staff statements, I am even more disappointed. Enki, your statement on seeing red read more like a threat and excuse than anything reassuring to the community that is wondering what is happening. When you say things like the staff are not robots and "are very busy and have lives too ya know", it sounds like we, the customers, are in the wrong for wanting an engaged management. That is not wrong. That is wanting what all decent and living games provide today. We are paying customers. You are here because of us. You also say "all this doom and gloom is just a mood that people feel from time to time, public updates will resume when the devs are ready", and this, to me, sounds like Wurm is not about us, the players, but about you, the staff in the background, and what is good for you. More salt in the wounds.. Otherwise, your entire statement, including the title of seeing red comes off as very threatening and very unconcerned for the player base and where it stands. If anyone was doxxed or harassed, I never saw it, but that is certainly wrong and should be punished. However, deep dissent alone certainly is not grounds for punishment, and I hope that's not what is being insinuated. It feels that way. Pandalet apologized at one point for the lack of engagement by staff and mentioned holidays in Europe, but in my experience, significant holidays were always acknowledged by the game and its management, not a cause for total neglect of the game and its players. Demona, mentioned personal issues, and of course, I feel bad for such issues. Likewise, Enki acknowledged being away for a while. So my question is if all of the staff is either on vacation or out due to personal issues, at what point is this unacceptable? It's been going on for long enough. Then we receive this damning statement from Enki, like we're being bad children for being sick of how Wurm is being run right now. Wurm is a 24/7 entertainment and service-providing business. Like any other business that makes its money in this capacity, there needs to be regular engagement and management. No other business like this can just expect to disengage but then have a happy customer base that stays infinitely happy and loyal. Wurm is no exception. Instead, we've got a contest that was totally dropped with zero results but excuses, broken animal systems with no fixes in sight, zero acknowledgement of huge dates like the Steam anniversary, no monthly updates as promised, and very little communication except to make excuses and even threaten the player base for a very legitimate state of insurrection. If I get banned for saying all this, then fine, Wurm isn't the place for me, but I very much wanted to say that the disappointment in a game I love (and an alternative digital life I've long-loved) runs deep right now. It runs even deeper when there is no sincere apology from staff, but excuses and even threats over not just shutting up and expecting nothing but what staff wants to do "when they are ready." We deserve better.

The wooden trim present for the stone walls should also be added to roundstone (at least), sandstone, marble and slate walls. https://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/File:Stone_house_wall.png The problem right now is for houses that have for example a roundstone ground floor and timber framed top floors. It simply needs a border between the change in wall types, as it looks too crude.

I scouted a bit around and found that almost certainly the rift is located at the mountaintop flat area in J17 where the deeds of Ajblack and Yldrania were located. The screenshot is taken from the northeast bound highway at 4325, 3542 ca. It is consistent with previous triangulations from different angles. I conclude that the rift is approximately in this area (red circle): There have been tunnels up to the plateau, starting, if I recall correctly, at one of the two arrows at the base of the mountain ( 4350, 3496 or 4423, 3453 ), and ends at the top arrow at 4321, 3400 . Both cave entrances end in cave walls at the moment, and maybe they are not the real tunnel entrances (my inquiring character lacked mining and fight skills to scrutinize). There may have been a tunnel from the east side (direction Thule-Greymead) as well. Informations from locals welcome. Of course, I may be plain wrong with my assumptions. Please check. I may participate in mining activities.

this edit I have the vr hardware ( freaking expensive considering how little I use it now.I ended up using it to play beatsaber thats about it most games give me migranes in vr from framerate and lightshaft flickering) and wont do vr in wurm. VR is NOT set up for hours of grinding without doing real world harm to your eyes. we have ui lag intermittent fps issues, hitching ( temp game freezing for a second or two not animals) all of this makes people sick when playing vr, causes migraines and can cause seizers if poorly implemented. I would love to see the weather and day/night cycle in wurm. but I worry that you already dont have a dev time for current issues with our current systems to add an entirely new ui, interface and movement system. the fact that vr is expensive ( for good quality equipment, and potentially necessary computer hardware updates) on top of people trying to get ps5 or literally any other budget based thing this is imo not a good thing to put development hours torwards. and if the parent company is simply hiring it out you still are going to loose time to it because you need to explain the code system known issues and bug testing. which will slow things down for the main wurm team as well. Along with making sure the two systems play nice in general. thats assuming real life doesnt get in the way again. ( really I hope it doesnt no one deserves dealing with pain this last year is causing) if you do intend to go forward with VR regardless I have a couple questions. how do you intend to smooth out fps to avoid motion sickness and migraines? there is texture flickering caused by forges and other flame based light sources. there are solutions to avoid this basically by burying your camera completely zoomed into a convenient object for those working by forges and ovens. this kinda negates the point of vr. will this be addressed? how will chat be implemented? a lot of people will have issues blindly typing. ( eyes are covered remember) is the code base and ui completely separate from what we already have given? If not in how much of the current ui will be touched to compensate. the old ui is being retired since keeping up on it and dealing with its limitations was taking to much resources. how will that be different with VR concerning the current ui? also the current ui takes up a hilarious amount of screen realistate the moment you need more then 2 containers open at a time. Will we have significant time between the AH changes to find and address bugs?( using major change language means they are not simple tweaks) in what way is this avoiding interfering with the main game development. Will the VR update have an integrated non-VR ui. Or is this going to be the new "only one code base to make it easier" thing that gets updated at this point? Making it the new standard. will there be a separate log in system for both client types( doubling down on extra development and potential bugs that could be resolved long term by merging the two client systems and getting things more standardized) or are you migrating all accounts to steam for the already integrated VR settings and access system? at what point if the system is to unwieldy, to costly or not working properly would you stop development on it ( WU)and would we be given significant warning? in what way will this be different then WU concerning investment/return. please keep in mind you are essentially asking people that dont have VR to buy into VR for this game ( the money of which does not go to you). That will potentially see few patches or bugfix improvements. Since after several months of silence that are only now being addressed over bugs and qol issues with the last update. You are asking all of us to take it in good faith that this update will be handled more gracefully and professionally. will there be a fee to help support the VR additions as a way to compensate for the cost of development time? ( if the VR codebase develpment is out sourced) as for example: extra 1$ 1silver a month to the sub to help offset the cost of development? Fee's paywalls like this or even onetime "expansion" sales as paywalls to help pay for new features is common. I really hope not but I dont know enough about the parent company to be confident about potentially not having a paywall to this feature. ----- thank you for taking the time to update us on whats going on, addressing what will be touched in AH and telling us and the heads up about the upcoming vr system. I appreciate the communication.

To those ranting or fearing: My impression always was that Samool knew what he was speaking and planning about when it came to graphics. So I suppose he has a concrete roadmap how to implement and integrate it. As fas as it does not negatively affect server or client side I don't have any objections though I haven't the hardware for, and most prolly won't ever have.

The problem with this mentality is in order to get to the place you want to get, steps need to be made. Things just aren't going to magically become how you want over night. If we truly want it to the point where you are saying, then we need to encourage them when they start to head that direction rather than stomp our feet saying "IT'S NOT ENOUGH". Give them a door to enter rather than slam that door shut in their face when they try.

Currently tracking is almost entirely useless on PvE servers, and I don't think it would get much use on PvP ones either. A common complaint on steam was the lack of mobs on the new cluster, and in some areas on the old cluster they can be hard to find too so... Mechanic: "Flushed Out" Any animal with the "Flushed Out" modifier will be unable to breed, will despawn once there are no players within 70 tiles of them (or if they have been around for more than 30 mins). Each player may only have one "flushed out" creature in existance at a time (attempting to "hunt" for another creature while one is still around despawns the current one). "Flushed Out" creature corpses work a little different when butchering (butchered products go straight to a pile on the floor and the corpse vanishes); the corpses of hunted animals decay away in 5 minutes to avoid clutter. New actions: Right click a tile - > Tracking ->... Tracking 15 - Rat Hunt Usable once per (60 - (Tracking/2)) minutes, spawns a "flushed out giant rat" within (51-(Tracking/2)) tiles of the user (only functions off deed and will only spawn offdeed, the mob will remain stationary unless "spooked"). This can be hunted as per normal for food, and is particularly weak to hunting arrows (they inflict (tracking skill/10)x the normal damage). This rat is non-hostile and will not aggro (essentially an easy way for newer players to get a pelt); for free players the cooldown is always 1 hour to avoid server crashing spawn amounts. Tracking 30 - Pheasant hunt Usable once per (60 - (Tracking/3)) minutes, spawns a "flushed out pheasant" within (40-(Tracking/3)) tiles of the user (only functions off deed and will only spawn offdeed, the mob will remain stationary unless "spooked"). This can be hunted as per normal for food, and is particularly weak to hunting arrows (they inflict (tracking skill/10)x the normal damage) Tracking 60 - Deer Hunt Usable once per (60 - (Tracking/6)) minutes, spawns a "flushed out deer" within (60-(Tracking/6)) tiles of the user (only functions off deed and will only spawn offdeed, the mob will remain stationary unless "spooked"). This can be hunted as per normal for food/materials, and is particularly weak to hunting arrows (they inflict (tracking skill/10)x the normal damage)

+1 to more or less every suggestion. I wouldn't mind a nibble option when right clicking food, which eats 0.03kg (one eating tick) and does not fill up hunger. Meaning you could use it any time (no matter what your hunger level is at) and it'll add the qol of not having to eat and spam crap out of the escape button for affinity food buffing.

If I remember correctly, the route to the top was reinforced all the way up, so will just be a matter of killing any mobs on the way up. I probably don't remember the correct entrance, but I think it was the eastern of those two cave entrances The route to the top, is via the eastern of those two cave entrances. It is reinforced all the way, so no need to mine. Safe area has been setup on the west side of the rift.

Hey Borgir, if you give us server and location, I could come and take a quick look.

I had hoped the restrictions of this cluster would encourage a cooperative group, so I'm glad to see this Lowkey. I'd like to be part of it, but I have to be honest with all that I have a history (14 years now) of Wurming for a few months then taking an extended break. Not to speak for him, but I think Grochar was willing to make his settlement on Whitesands a sort of traveler's rest. I was planning to stop there on my roundtrip starting at the end of August. I'll be on Redmyst before September comes.

For a while, I have been semi inactive dealing with issues not relating to Wurm that has kept me from being as quick and courteous as I prefer to be with people. During my semi away time a lot has happened among the people here and what I have found on my return has me seeing blood. There are those among us harassing, and attacking the Developers and other Wurm team members which I will not tolerate. If your name is brought before me I will simply cut you loose. I will not waste my time on you anymore. At the same time I have been made aware of certain illicit activities occurring while I have been unavailable. Things like exploiting ways into sealed mines via means clearly not intended. We will hunt you down and remove you. I have not been active with Discord moderation since its inclusion into our ecosystem, but I am very unhappy with the things I hear and I will turn that around. No harassment shall be tolerated there. I will not tolerate the use of inappropriate materials, harassment, or doxxing, or anything that is improper for our environment. Make no mistake folks, I am very unhappy at all that has been transpiring, but know this, I know you have been concerned about the lack of recent public updates, and all this doom and gloom is just a mood that people feel from time to time, public updates will resume when the Dev team are ready. They are very busy and have lives too ya know. They are not all machine and computer code unlike the rest of us, and I am here to help keep the game healthy and happy. While I stand here enjoying my root beer float, a number of people's names are already being inscribed on my ban hammer. So lets see where it falls as I slowly dig through my backlog of work!
