    Currently we can lead up to 4 creatures but we have to unlead 3 in order to put the remaining one into a creature cage. I suggest a menu where we can pick which creature to load. Right click -> Load Creature -> Load CREATURENAME Obviously the latter can be a drop-down menu of up to 4 items, being the names of each of the animals lead.

    So you read that right, a FANTASTIC BONE! This little guy was dropped by a Forest Giant on the 15th of March, 2021. I expect this auction will either be very heated, or the opposite, due to the rarity of this item! These have gone for more coin than this in the past, and on the Southern Freedom Isles as well. We're going to start this out at Five Gold Coins, and see how much further it will go. Snipe Protection is exceptionally long so that everyone can get a chance to outbid the last guy! With Northern Freedom Isles being so new, this may be one of the very first of this item to exist here!     I’m not sure what good creating another new server will do, as it will further split the community apart. However, I do think keeping the NFI and SFI separated in the long term is not good for the game at this point.

    Thanks for taking on the map, Fraskesa! V. small thing, but when next tweaking the map, Brambleheim could do with moving south a little bit -- it centres on west side of the X44 Y27 square but covers about 3 map squares north to south.

    Bump because much needed! I would also like to add the following: - Rotting wood: Have dead logs either as graphics or real objects, with them able to have fungus/mushrooms grown inside them (naturally, not by players) . Dead wood is a big part of forests and wurm forests just look too clean and man-made without it. - change moss tile graphics The current moss tile looks NOTHING like real moss. In fact I had to stop and examine first to be sure its moss when I started playing. This is how moss should look like and not just a lazy and bald lime green tile as we have now. It should have some depth and/or textures to it.

    I would first and foremost like to thank @jackjonesfor giving us all the Xanadu Community Map which we've used for the last 4-5 years. His map system is also one of the founding blocks of the newer maps developed by @Yagaand @Substr. Thank you Jack, we miss you. Jack has been preoccupied with RL issues the last year or two, and as such has not had time to help maintain the map and upload the new map dumps. So, I have been working with @Yagaover the past few days to provide a new Xanadu Community Map. @Yagaand @Substr have developed a system which they implemented for the Deliverance server initially and which we have now updated for Xanadu. New Xanadu Community Map Features 1. Map coordinates The map offers a common type of map grid (as an optional overlay), using the same denotation as the in-game map (for example "E 24"). However, to place and find locations in a much more detailed way the new map is based on "tile coordinates" (x, y), making it possible to narrow down locations to a single tile on the server! This allows us to place deeds and landmarks much more precisely than before. (Map coordinates are explained in the next post.) 2. Zoom The map provides various zoom levels, allowing you to zoom in from a view of the entire server to close-ups of single deeds. 3. Layers Deeds, Tunnels, Canals, Bridges etc. are actually map layers which can be toggled on and off. You can also choose among two map types (Terrain, Topographical). Note that the Isometric map is not available on this map due to the extreme distortion of tile location caused by mountains and other terrain, thereby preventing an accurate placement of deeds, tunnels, bridges, etc. 4. Finding settlements The map offers an easy-to-use search function for deeds. 5. Selecting locations and copy coordinates You are able to select any point on the map and save the coordinates for future use. Colours and Symbols Map Information This new map has been reproduced based on the previous map data and as such some elements may not be 100% accurate since we are using a completely different system. To this point, if you notice anything missing or in the wrong place in terms of settlements (deeds), highways, tunnels, canals and landmarks, please post in the thread below using the Adding Data guidelines provided. In particular, Tunnels and canals are handled a bit differently on this new map. There are Tunnels - which are foot traffic only, there are Canals - which are boat traffic only, and there are Tunnel+Canals - which allow passage of both boat and foot traffic. Please post in the thread below any discrepancies you see so we can get these accurate. Also, those tunnels that are knarr-depth only will need to be named as such, as that data-driven designation is not supported in the new map. Adding Data Please post in this thread to report new or changed data. (Do not send PMs, either on the forum or in-game! Do not use Discord to add data either!) Please use tile coordinates (x, y) to report new map data. (Hover your mouse pointer over the location you wish to report, click once to see the coordinates in the "Selected" field, copy the coordinates.) Deeds: Please report the settlement name and the coordinates of the settlement token. Example: "Serendipity Bay [1650, 1384]" Highways: Please report the coordinates of all points describing the highway (start, "corners", end). Please use this format: "[[5229,2327],[5543,2328],[5547,2332],[5577,2332],[5588,2321],[5614,2321],[5623,2312],[5684,2313],[5692,2321],[5790,2321]]" which is the actual coordinates of the highway that stretches across G20. Tunnels, Canals, Bridges: Use the start and end coordinates. These elements can also be given a name. Please only add fully completed Tunnels, Canals and Bridges. Fully completed tunnels are those with both walls reinforced along the entire length, all veins in the roadway/canal gone and with the floors mined down to their final depth. Other: You can also report guard towers, mission structures, and special named landmarks (like names of lakes and mountains, as long as those names are agreed upon among the local community.) Note that Xanadu is an Opt-In map, meaning that you must ask to have your deed posted on the map. We encourage you to do so as the more deeds that are shown on the map the easier it is for people to find their location when they're out exploring and lost , or when they're trying to come pick up that cool whatchamacallit that you offered for sale or check out your totally awesome deed. However, only a Mayor or an authorized villager can request that a deed be added. THANKS!     At the moment, wurm is a very static game. Barring trees slowly eating meadows and stepped and grass at war, not much happens without player intervention. Here are a few simple ideas to make the world feel more alive. 1. Make flowers prevent bushes/trees spawning adjacent (and over) them, unless a tree/bush is already adjacent. This helps preserve meadows, while still allowing forests to grow back over time. 2. Give steppe's more features: seasonal flower variants of their own as well as changing their mob movement priority to high in spring/summer but low in autumn/winter so critters leave surrounding forests in the warmer weather and retreat back in the winter 3. Differentiate between 'beach sand' (10 tiles away from a salt waterlogged tile) and 'desert sand'; the former spawning shells and palms with a higher spawn rate of seals and crabs, the latter scattered cacti and a new set of mid--high tier forage/botanist opportunities to offset the risk of dangerous critters. 4. Cliff-hugging plant species that yield useful resources for climbers who reach them. More so, mountain plants that only grow above a certain elevation to better reward people living far inland. 5. Fern tiles, an alternative to grass that does not impede dense tree growth; offering denser and more dangerous forests in return for faster tree growth rates. Slowly spreading once an area has a thick enough forest. 6. Allow moss to spread inside caves, near entrances to mines and near underground water sources. Let us plant it and bring some green! If a mine tile has a tree planted overhead, give us some roots that can be cut back if desired. 7. Allow swamps to spread more easily far from trees, but make swamps easier to remove. Give swamps their own trees (mangroves) and allow reeds to grow into swamps to provide more resources. 8. Give abandoned (unused) roads a 'mossy' texture after a while; moss clearing once 3 people walk over a tile in 24 hours and only occurring on road tiles that are not highways. 9. (added 26/04/2023) Give us another coastal flower with a twist - let us plant flowers on marsh tiles to give lily pads whose flower colour matches the planted flower type.

    steam players seem to be constantly declining the graph in above post/s for constant numbers seem 'fake'🤔 https://steamcharts.com/app/1179680#All summer's coming.. expect few vacations.. meaning both.. breaks from the game and returning "staycationists" XD me personally.. really expecting/wanting/ to see some qol/wogic fixes to common actions/mechanics/ui.. along with new content; personally not a fan of the ditched weekly-bi-weekly updates, the new valrei monthly updates have huge buffer of time between the game news.. I'd much rather read about current changes releasing now and have random updates for the currently-developed content; can't recall last valrei post I really liked (*but I'm often much more 'excited' for patchnotes whenever there's improved sensible commonly used things, rather than.. 1-2-5 fixes for things random players 'abused'; of course the fixes for that are great, but this gives nothing new to the 99% of the players)

    Would love to, if only there were more than one option in the massive majority of the US. Outside of cities you may not have a choice, as is the case with me and I'm assuming Bremba is in the same boat. It's interesting how Finnn chimes in yet again with nothing constructive and only flaming posters, he picked out one thing to comment on and nothing else and pursued it like his mothers honor was at stake. You know Finnn he even stated that his reasoning was "( to avoid slowdowns from tracking algorithms.... I got about a 3% increase FWIW(meaning For What It's Worth))". Not to mention he didnt even say that fixed his connection as you put it in ""3% improvement after dns change" and that "fixed your connection".. - no." But no you chose to yet again make assumptions and flame posters. How and why are you still here? Stop being Toxic.

    Wurm Online does still have a cap for non premium, yes. This doesn't mean you have to pay real money though; Selling bulk goods to other players or foraging for rare rolls(yielding up to 1s per roll) are perfectly valid ways to pay for premium. First month of premium is 8s at a token. After that it's 5s for 15 days and 10s for 30 days.

    Well, this would be a solid kick in the teeth to me, but then what does that matter in the long run. The current priest system is broken, it'll never get fixed properly, might as well just give it up. +1 from me, if only so my population data doesn't have so many alter camping alts inflating the numbers!

    If there was anyway we could tie these into missions would be nice. Perhaps a champ like system based of scenario points. Failed missions takes off points etc. If your god dies takes off massive senerio points. Win scenario gives you a favor increase gain. Just spitballing ideas.

    You just summed up many years of how I felt about people's arguments about the wurm economy in just one sentence. I tip my hat to you good sir. And yeah, lifting priest restrictions at this point would be better. 99% of pvp revolves around having more priests than the other side. As for the economy...you know what economies do historically? They adapt. They always adapt to new variable and situations.

    You're absolutely right about Greenwood, this one doesn't appear to have a name - but it is notable (perhaps just a loose merchant icon rather than giving it a name?) Also the main post is missing qualifications for a market icon.     Just a fun thought exercise: About xan sized (aggg, I know) map. -- 4 main islands, each with a starter town. Each island is about the size of Deli, in other words, big, but not huge. Generally considered home for newer players and the folks who cater to them, or who want to be in a part of a larger community. Each has a primary biome - desert, tundra, grass and forest (will change as players change it). -- lots (like 100's) of little islands scattered all over in-between the 4 big islands. Some close to each other, so far away. Most about the size to hold 1-4 deeds comfortably. -- One mid sized island in the middle. PVP island. No need to cross servers, just land there and PVP enabled. Has a warning so that if you get within 100 tiles of it, you get notified that you have entered a PVP zome. Water has a different color (like Bermuda turquoise) No building on it, but terraforming and mining allowed. Has goals, like the camps on chaos, or a capture the flag, or something. More individual players than groups as the rewards are solo based, and not completely skills locked (so, if a combat goal, someone with good planning skills and a 70+ combat should be as likely to do it as a player with 99 fighting and all supreme+ scale, etc.) This island has 4x the unique spawn rate - where the other islands have 0.1 times the rate. So, unique's are more likely to spawn here, but not guaranteed to do so. --Each starter town has a portal area. 1 to SFI. 1 to NFI. 1 to Epic. 1 to Random spot on this server - like might be in the middle of the water. Nothing will go through any of these portals except beginner items and the character.

    We had an outage today that affected the following game servers: Xanadu Affliction Elevation Harmony Celebration The outage lasted approximately 45 minutes. The cause of the outage was a configuration issue. Our new hosts are configured with tools to match our needs, which means that we can more quickly recover should hardware issues crop up. A bug in the configuration tool lead to some hosts being improperly configured outside of a maintenance window. The resolution was to roll back the configuration on the hosts and restart the game servers. Our provider has assured me that while most changes undergo testing, this was somehow missed and they are working on updating their procedures to ensure such an outage does not happen again. Thank you for your patience.

    It's immersive for sure, but when would you actually use that feature and why? Never had any problems that would require that with horses, unlike boats where parking was nightmare without change...

    I like the player positioning mechanic, and the complexity. Not knowing all the hidden attributes has some small positives but overall you don't feel or see progress, sure you see your skills go up, but what are the real effects, or the effects of that bangin pvp crowbar you just spend days crafting and enchanting? NFI, no one does completely = less satisfaction. +1
