    I am trying to keep track of my progress on this new deed. Below is my current stage in planning. It is soon to be built in game. If anyone wants to actually come and visit in game I am at O21 on Release at Goldwyn Castle.

    @Darklordsany possibility of getting at least a passive 25% bonus (pok) to those with 70 mediation skill that play on defiance? requirement being having the 70 med ofc. we are well beyond that threshold of people hitting 70 and starting to drift off of defiance due to pure lack of efficiency grinding here

    1 big problem with slayings... Etc is lag on the server. That and some people might not want to see a giant dragon in the sky. That would cause alot of lag I bet. I do really like the idea mind. Maybe a toggle in settings to just not render it unless you are like 50 or 100 tiles away from it. Another thing is that war machines would have to have ui or changes I feel for this. Like a real target system where it actually shows you were the projectile is going to land. With like a bullseye or something. The dragon and all of its minions would have to spawn at a far enough space away from deeds too.

    On the topic of new horse shapes: For anyone interested in the background of how this came about, anyone remember that suggestion I made many years ago about having different horse shapes? My thinking was that with a few tweaks of the mesh, we could literally triple the amount of horse variations in the game. And since we were now working on the animal update, I figured I'd show the team this old suggestion and to my surprise and delight, they really were enthusiastic to actually put this into motion! Now these old files I worked on were only done in the standing pose, so although I've handed the files over to to the team, it might be that slight alterations are needed to make them work with animations. However I do hope we can get as close as possible to these shapes. If anyone wants to see these suggested shapes in all the various horse colors, you can check them out here:

    The most common reason to have alts is to hold deeds. I have 15 alts to hold my deeds, how is me paying 15 upkeeps not good for the game?

    I asked a question about why you can no longer do this in CA Help earlier and was told the reason why was because it was unintended. Fair enough if that was the case. Can we please have walls implemented to replicate the unintended designs shown above for arch and T arch walls. More wall options can only be a good thing for those of us that enjoy designing aesthetic buildings. Aesthetics of my deeds is one of the prominent reasons why I prem, please reconsider. +1

    The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black was one of the largest, oldest, and wealthiest pure-blooded wizarding families. It is time to bring the glory of the House to Wurm! The House of Black is my latest project and expected to be about a year's worth of work before it's hit an acceptable point.     First point, we're not really talking about alting here, we're talking about zerging (in the sense of multi-boxing to gain an advantage not possible to those who don't) I've been around for quite a while, longer than most folks here. During that time I've played one (1) character with a (non-premium) storage alt who I sometimes use to cut trees that grow in my flower bed, and who used to also have to clear the tunnel down from my mountain home when it caved in and no-one could reach me easily. I don't use zergs as a rule, and not doing so puts me at a disadvantage if I want to "compete" with other players who do; in this way zergs do embody a zero sum pay to win system and could be construed in a negative light by anyone coming to the game for the first time. I don't dislike people who zerg (its the optimal strategy), but I feel that any game where zerging is the meta is poorly designed. To pinpoint when massive numbers of zergs started to show up, one must look to the release of Wurm unlimited. It became very noticeable around a year after WU's release and, lets be honest, the massive population decline that brought with it. About 2--3 players in a large alliance had a priest alt at that point (Nahjo of course), now most do. However, to blame low population for the profligacy of zergs would be a grave error, for it is an open secret that priests are designed to be zerg-alts (their gameplay is so situational as to be pointless a large amount of the time). It is only through a massive amount of continual campaigning for changes that we've seen any loosening of restrictions at all (I spent years and years of making posts (as did a few others), constantly bringing it up, and pushing others to do the same before we saw ANY kind of change at all). We've gone about as far as we're likely to go without a complete overhaul to magic on wurm. Why do I say this? Because every zerg-alt is a subscription, and every player who runs a lot of zergs enjoys the power that brings, so the game's "whales" are 100% against priests being de-alted. If their priests suddenly needed a high animal taming to cast charm, or decent animal husbandry to cast genesis, running a priest alt would become hard work. Their optimal strategy would not longer function, and they'd be forced to rely upon others (which is not a situation the remaining scattering of wurmians enjoy; the social ones largely left when the population declined). Finally, I must say, it is not that we "get used to things", and "find work arounds", it's just that the majority of us have lost faith in the developers as bringers of meaningful change. Especially when it comes to things that will empty their pockets in the short run, even if they benefit game health in the long run. I've seen devs come and go, and only one really worked on priests during that time (their vision was never fully implemented or balanced, and much of that is reflected today).

    I have sent my three priests to sermons, first was my then only priest alt, a Nahjo priest. He visited two sermon circles, one in south Xanadu, and when that dissolved, another one in west Pristine. A year later, when the player gods were abandoned, I had my Vynora and Fo priest alts, they attended a cycle in west Xanadu. These sermon sessions, lasting for weeks, were very pleasant examples of inter player cooperation, starting by the hosts of the sermons, helpers from the neighbourhood bringing food, and the attending priests themselves. Up to ten different accounts cooperated there, helping one another, for several weeks. I simply do not understand the hatred against alts. Nobody is forced to use them. But I cannot imagine how the functions alts fulfill at the moment, can ever be replaced by single accounts.

    I'd like to see a few different door options in Wurm. Currently, we are limited to the plain wooden doors or a portcullis, which is not solid. It would be nice to offer perhaps studded doors, metal doors, arched doors etc. Also, an option to dye just the door would be great. Below are some examples. Medieval style doors Castle doors

    Muse is an alt. She's known to the community and has a personality in her own right. She's been premium solidly since the beginning of 2015, but she doesn't get out much. I like it like that. Mostly I load her up just for company and she stands by as I do my own things. Real people are wonderful of course, and Deliverance server is lively with good alliances, trade, laughter, tears and solid friendships, but what I like most about Muse is the silence. She doesn't talk. I don't get a wall of text whilst I'm concentrating - she's just a quiet presence, and to me that's part of her subtle appeal.

    I see no inherent nobility in being an individual who prefers to do things with others, which you are exalting here by giving them preferential treatment in return for their social co-operation, as already they are benefiting from this by the ability to accomplish more and the satisfaction that they get by this social interaction. "People needing people" is not actually enjoyable at all for those people who prefer to be more self sufficient. Perhaps these people who prefer to accomplish things on their own without any dependence upon others are actually more together within themselves than these social ones who have some "need" to interact with others to find similar satisfaction. So here with this post you make *alts* the target when in reality you seem to want to punish the individual who prefers to do things alone by either removing alt assistance or giving some sort of preferential benefits to social groups and activities. This just seems unfair and controlling to me in that you seem to believe that socially active people are the preferred playstyle as a reflection of your and societies way of life. People are different and should be who they are, be they loving to do things with others or preferring to mainly do things on their own; thus, the game of Wurm Online provides all with their own choice of gameplay depending upon ultimately their own personality. Fortunately this game offers more freedom of choice than RL where societies dictates either subtly encourage pursuing common goals and interaction with others or blatantly enforce it with their confining rules and punishments. The "loner" types are then looked down upon or with suspicion by those social types who simply can not comprehend why anyone doesn't think as they do about the delights of interpersonal interactions. I don't think that the game was specifically planned out to give each individual the choice as to how they prefer to play it but this is the way that it has turned out and my preference is that it remain that way with acceptance of these diverse styles of playing it and ultimately allowing people to be who they are without the judgement and needs of others interfering with it. If alts are abused in some certain instances then those should be dealt with and alts remain as useful for other "less sociable" purposes. Mainly I see no problem with them and feel at ease about letting others play the game as they wish as far as social interactions are concerned. =Ayes=

    If pizzas were less dominant, cooking would have greater value; i've spent some time to get multiple recipes and while they're cool for RP purposes there isn't much purpose for them; people either make meals if they want foodbar/ccfp or pizzas if they want mad affinity timers - there's no inbetween. And dont even get me started on the sad state of beverages.

    I'll be honest. It's not that I don't like your idea, I just dislike cooking in Wurm. It's incredibly boring and tedious. Adding more complexity won't fix that for me. I dislike it to the point I cook the same exact meal in bulk every time, and I only stock the ingredients for that meal. 17 to be exact in number. Aside from my single meal choice, I pay others if/when I want an affiniity food. I have played for nearly 11 years and I haven't even bothered trying to unlock recipes. It's just a big turn off for me and I really don't understand why tbh.
