Rules Do not enter the slaying pen with wagons and hell horses. Do not forget to collect all your belongings after the slaying. (Some people forgot their tents at the last slaying, by the way.) P.S. I am hosting the slaying alone. In case of unforeseen situations, all changes will be posted here.

1 pointThis has been talked about to death over the years and now that I am back in Wurm I see it still has not changed. I honestly thought with the change to Steam and removal of RMT this would of finally gotten the revamp it really needs. My suggestion is below in detail. 1.) Like Rift events unique slayings will now provide a set number of points to each participant who attempts to strike the unique. This means alts sitting in carts doing nothing will no longer leech free blood. This does mean that hoarding uniques no longer serves a purpose by removing the direct monetary value of said uniques. 2.) Points given will be based on the unique slayed, but can be used cumulatively for certain items in a unique shop such as a rare strange bone (Butchering uniques will no longer have the chance to yield rare bones) 3.) All tomes will now be in the unique shop and assigned point values along with rare and supreme bones So after a few months of unique slaying a player's point card would look something like this. Red Dragon Points: 100 Forest Giant Points: 200 Goblin Leader Points: 100 Black Dragon Hatchling Points: 100 Players would then be able to redeem points for item as listed below: Goblin Leader Blood: 60 Goblin Leader Points .05kg Drake Hide: 75 Any Hatchling Points (Figure out the color part later) .05kg Scale: 75 Any Dragon Points Rare Strange Bone: 1,250 Any Unique Points Tome of Blank: 1,000 Any Unique Points (1 Charge) Summer Hat: 5,000 Any Unique Points Small Steel Magical Chest: 2,500 Any Unique Points (You see where I am going with this) The back end requires a database to keep track of players and point totals while the front end requires a store user interface to redeem those points. Drops and butchered items aside from meat would be removed and the system already outputs who was attacking a unique so the people to be awarded points already exists. The dev time to do this is actually not that bad, and I am willing to donate my personal time to code changes if that is what it takes. I would love to seem some suggestions on the point table, additional items to be added to the uniques store, or what you think is good or bad about it. Lets finally flush this out and make it a thing worth doing rather than having the constant bickering about uniques, private hunt parties, etc. With this system you build a foundation to introduce limited time items available in the unique store. Also goes without saying you must be premium to obtain points from a unique slaying. Now I know all the tryhards are not going to like this because it will directly affect income from uniques, but the reality is this change is healthy for the game as a whole. More slayings will be public, more people will be logging in and playing for these, and more interaction will occur across servers. I look forward to reading your responses below on why or why not to do something like this in Wurm.

1 pointMainly through different dyes and combinations of armour. Plenty of outfits look somewhat similar but besides those only wearing the starting gear, there were enough differences in outfit to spot some people out from a distance

1 pointI've been pretty fortunate in the Wurm economy, and I'd like to give back some. Been thinking about various ways and have come up with this: I will fund a deed, up to 2s/month size, for founding an one year of upkeep for two players who NEED it. Of course there has to be rules: 1. This must be your primary account. no alts. no restarts. 2. This must be your first deed. 3. You must have played for three months. 4. You agree not to sell the deed or disband and pull the silvers. 5. You will "purchase" the deed by trading it for something you can make with a bit of work as a new player. Such examples are support beams, shafts, planks, mortar, digging clay, etc. This gives you vested interest, just like Habitat for Humanity requires. if you are interested you can privately message me with your "offer" or you can respond here. CAN be either on SFI or NFI.

1 pointWe had skill decay for years and people who got to high skill begged none stop for it to be changed as it lead to such a point where people had to grind hours a day to keep 3-4 skills at the same level let alone progress then skill decay was set to 90 then 70 and then it was decided to just take it away as it didnt add to the game it only meant people had to play more or get punished for not being able to play Same goes with item decay the game is all about long term playing not 1-2 months or a year max skill gains now days are so much faster then what they used to be because people bitched that it was to hard to catch up to those who had spend years already playing Imagine the year is 2005 and the highest skill is some guy who lives with tich who has 55 blacksmithing and is charging 5s for ql 50 blacksmithing tools with no enchants and 30-40 enchants would cost 2s a piece extra there is no mass storage no wagons no horses no boats and only 2 servers the cost of a guard tower is 15s a tower and no one is crazy enough to mass make them Back then going away for 2 weeks meant if you had 50 skill you could come back to 49.20 or less even it was horrible and people who got to 90 where basically forced to spend all day doing that single task or risk loosing their 90's easy You do not want skill decay as it adds a chore to the game that is not a fun gameplay loop you want the game to be more enjoyable and last longer find proper fun gameplay loops to add to the game not reintroduce mechanics that where taken out because they where hated by everyone
