    I just wanted to say thank you to the GM team, and to Belisama in particular. I had a bad thing happen to me, and it was partially my own fault. The GM's went out of their way to make things right, going above and beyond what I could honestly expect and hope for. As such, I want to say thank you. Your time and effort are truly appreciated.

    Yes, but adamantine for a random color rune is a steep price for something so basic. On a colossus or a boat I can see it, but not really on a rug, though yes, it does work. I would love so much to be able to just dye the rugs for my house in colors of my choosing instead of relying on RNG.

    It would be wonderful if the colorful carpets were changed so that we could dye them. The colors now are rather abrupt in comparison to the rest of the game, so it makes them stick out a bit. The sizes could still be skill based, but if we could change the color, I feel these would be used far more often and they would be more appealing in so many beautiful buildings. Now that the Fine High Chair has been reworked to accept dye with a neutral base fabric, I'm bringing this back up to hopefully get some response. With object placement, we are becoming much more focused on the decor in our homes, and custom dyed rugs seems a natural next step.

    Add the possibliity to send liquids too using wagoners, for example let the huge oil barrels be loadable onto the wagoner container. Make the pricing dependent of the amount sent.

    Simple update guard tower models to reflect different brick types. Sandstone/Slate/marble etc. Would be nice to have Sandstone Towers with your Sandstone fortress. Not sure how hard that would be art wise but heck give it a +1 all. Joyful Resort !!

    I would love it if we could plant all the different sprouts into planters to get small version of the plant as decorations. I think it would also be a nice use for excess sprouts. Another idea that could go along with it is the ability to prune the plants for sprouts, much like a bonsai. The mechanic could work like herbs in herb planters except that you harvest sprouts. I personally would prefer they be decorations that don't need to be tended, but I could also see people wanting bonsai orange trees.

    When typing in chat, hitting the Escape key removes your cursor from the text field, allowing you to use keybinds again immediately. For the sake of consistency and usability, Escape should always function this way when the cursor is in a text field (the two most important contexts, in my view, being inventory filtering and the crafting recipe window). When you’re filtering items in inventory/bsb/crate, or searching recipes in the crafting recipes window, the Escape key currently clears whatever you’ve typed into the text field, but leaves the cursor in the field itself. If you then try to use a keybind (which I invariably do), you instead end up typing in the text field. To start using keybinds again, you have to switch to the mouse and click on something in order to get the cursor out of the text field, then go back to the keyboard. This process is cumbersome, and runs counter to user expectations of how the Escape key will function. Hitting Escape should *always* allow you to use keybinds again immediately, eliminating the need to switch from keyboard to mouse and back again. If users need to clear text from a text field, they can do so easily enough with the Delete key (which is a more familiar and therefore more intuitive choice anyway). Having essentially the same functionality assigned to two separate keys is redundant and unnecessary. And the fact that Escape produces completely different effects in separate (yet similar) contexts does not make sense from a usability standpoint.     06 March 2021 Sooooome little update :3 First of all: the highway We decided, to avoid that glitch, to move the entrance of the mine, so now the highway goes straight. We placed lamps along it, so it is always lightened. We add some gate; in this way people are free to go over them (for example for forestry). With the help of GM's we were able to add a couple of trash heap, hedges and lamps, to create some kind of... harmony We started the construction of our main house, finally Thanxs to Oxmoggxx who planned it for us, because we hadn't the skill :3 To reach the second floor (it is the third one, because our first floor is 2 tiles high) we built a wide stairs, 2 tiles large. To create some contrast with the sandstone walls we chose the stone slabs floor; the opening is just temporary, to allow us to bring up building materials and furnitures :3 A bit of green in front of the house; we used the lavender hedges to decorate it ❤️ And also west stables are finished :3 Here some pictures of the inside of the first floor :3 And the terraforming goes on; we also added some large planters to cultivate mushrooms too

    It would be nice to have more information on monthly skins available for purchase in the marks store. Either a GM thread that gets updated or a wiki entry would helpful with a directory of each skin released to date and images of the skin. It would also be nice to know if these plan to be recycled or new every month. With the new servers progressing in skill and availability of high end materials, I think more players will opt to make their own "artifacts" with this feature by purchasing the skins for moon metal weapons or rares. Greater transparency of the feature and a directory will only serve to better monetize the game.

    Like kochinac said, if I log in to just do the chores, and regrind skills, its not wort anymore. I play Wurm because i can play casual, sometimes i spend a month building my deed and making it pretty, sometimes i spend a few days in archaeology for new statues to decorate my place, sometimes i just like exploring the servers, sometimes i just want to create dye or improve my chest of rare items to cast on later. Wurm like no other game offers me that casual playstyle, its basically You can do whatever you want game. If that is removed due to skill decay and deed decay, then it becomes a village simulator, which its a no for me

    This combat business scares me. I like Wurm's casual combat. I know the skilled button-mashing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twitch_gameplay) players will demand they receive advantageous rewards for their perceived superior performance. This means those of use who want casual combat will have to play the twitch gamer's way. I perdict this: old school wurmer "I want an auto fight so I can just stand in front of mobs and kill them like before." twitcher "Hey I work hard to push the button just right and it just isn't fair that you can get the same rewards as me for using your lazy auto-fight system." old school wurmer "hey if you don't like the auto-fight no one is forcing you to use it, do what you like playa. If you find the challenge of manual fight fun, the fun should be reward enough." Twitcher "why in the world would I disadvantage myself like that? Sorry but in order for a mmo to be fun we all have play the same way." ....yada yada yada ...folks contune to argue about stuff that doesn't really change

    To all the people thinking in this way. People don't play this game to do the chores of saving everything you accomplished over the years every day... We don't like to loose what we got, nor we like to do any extra stuff to maintain that what we got. If i have to regrind my skills everytime i log in or to spend even hour every day repairing everything on my deed, ###### it, its not worth it, wont play it.

    We had skill decay for years and people who got to high skill begged none stop for it to be changed as it lead to such a point where people had to grind hours a day to keep 3-4 skills at the same level let alone progress then skill decay was set to 90 then 70 and then it was decided to just take it away as it didnt add to the game it only meant people had to play more or get punished for not being able to play Same goes with item decay the game is all about long term playing not 1-2 months or a year max skill gains now days are so much faster then what they used to be because people bitched that it was to hard to catch up to those who had spend years already playing Imagine the year is 2005 and the highest skill is some guy who lives with tich who has 55 blacksmithing and is charging 5s for ql 50 blacksmithing tools with no enchants and 30-40 enchants would cost 2s a piece extra there is no mass storage no wagons no horses no boats and only 2 servers the cost of a guard tower is 15s a tower and no one is crazy enough to mass make them Back then going away for 2 weeks meant if you had 50 skill you could come back to 49.20 or less even it was horrible and people who got to 90 where basically forced to spend all day doing that single task or risk loosing their 90's easy You do not want skill decay as it adds a chore to the game that is not a fun gameplay loop you want the game to be more enjoyable and last longer find proper fun gameplay loops to add to the game not reintroduce mechanics that where taken out because they where hated by everyone

    I wish we could "combine" meditation rugs into larger single rugs using their designs and coloration -- which are actually quite nice, although all variations of "red/orange". Right now they are very small and really only work as "welcome mats" or small mats. While i like the "new" meditation rugs better than their old 2012 or so era designs, I think the older designs -- plus player custom color dying under the new shader render engine -- would make for nicer "large area rugs" than the current "colorful" carpets: (recolored as the orginals were all variations of 'strong red tones' -- someone there at Code Club really really really loves their "strong red tones" lol) * original colors are here, for the curious The player decides how much green, gold, blues, red etc to blend into it. Also saturation levels (bright vs faded -- it's true I am biased for muted tones) Would be nice to also be able to tint the "solid colored tapestries" or some other textile wall hangings. we already have the textures, we have the meshes, we now have the "new shader technology" that allows custom coloration by players Hopefully, devs will reply -- "Guess What! Already In The Works!!"

    Hello everyone, We are a democratic deed. We are a deed aimed mainly for returning players as we are weary for spies. However we are more than happy to help newbies around setting up their houses outside the perimeter, as well as supply what they need to setup such as food, seeds, materials, gear, etc. Our current mayor is "Scooter", who is also the grand prince of Jenn-kellon. We have a couple of villagers, always willing to help out. Everyone is welcome to do their part, but in no means is anyone forced to do any specific work. Everyone Wurms at will here! Our area has a rich history where many players have once played Wurm. An area that has been refounded multiple times on the same tile, including this time around.
