    This is a one off to allow people of different timezones to attend.

    The character limit per email address is currently set to 5. That should be removed and once it's removed the character owners should be given a one time option to put all characters on one address. An option would be to let the character limit in place for non-premium characters (that have never been premium!) so that it is not possible to create an army of non paying characters. Could actually reduce the number of freebies to 1 or 2 per email address because the free game should only be used as demo to learn to know how it works and whether you want to play it. This limit is just good to annoy paying people.

    Less chance for rifts in a certain timezone due to population = peoples gameplay in that timezone is valued as less important as they have less of a chance at getting content. it's already a problem with things like impalongs (all the events are at us/eu time), unique slayings, staff run events/giveaways, practically all events are based in us/eu time as it is and people from the opposite timezone are left behind, there shouldn't be more game mechanics to encourage disregarding these players the smaller servers often get 15-30 people doing rifts in the middle of the night na/eu time so sounds like an indy problem more than a game problem.

    It would be nice to have more information on monthly skins available for purchase in the marks store. Either a GM thread that gets updated or a wiki entry would helpful with a directory of each skin released to date and images of the skin. It would also be nice to know if these plan to be recycled or new every month. With the new servers progressing in skill and availability of high end materials, I think more players will opt to make their own "artifacts" with this feature by purchasing the skins for moon metal weapons or rares. Greater transparency of the feature and a directory will only serve to better monetize the game.

    FIXED ! I discovered I was plugged into the incorrect HDMI plug on the back of my new puter. I may not have ever found this but u said it appears to be a graphics thing. Thanks 🙂 *bows at waist*

    Stanlee's Vynorium Emporium & The 100 Channeling Celebration Sale Custom enchants for your favourite gear tl;dr: WoA or CoC prices, assuming I can dispel: 80+ = 45c 90+ = 65c 95+ = 1s 100+ = 1s90c I'm only ever Stanlee ingame. No alts. The 100 Channeling Celebration Sale: 20% off of CoC/WoA when you get a FREE Stan-made tool! The spells: The Vynora spell list boasts a great many useful enchants. When an enchantment is "conflicting," I cannot enchant it on an item that already has a conflicting enchantment without dispelling the conflict. These spells are, as far as I can tell, listed in Dispel Order, which is a concept explained in the next section. The main spells are: Nimbleness (Nim) - This enchant makes it easier for your weapons to hit. Conflicts with Wind of Ages. Wind of Ages (WoA) - This enchant makes actions faster, while keeping skillgain/hour stable (in theory. In practice, the WoA accelerates your journey towards tempering, switching to another mining vein, or any other low-gain action, causing a net loss in skillgain/hour). Fantastic for making castles from assorted rocks at high speeds! Even lets weapons swing faster. Conflicts with Nimbleness and Blessings of the Dark. Frostbrand (FB) - Causes your weapon to do an extra, smaller, wound as frost damage. Conflicts with Life Transfer, Flaming Aura, Bloodthirst, Rotting Touch and Venom. Aura of Shared Pain (AoSP) - Reflects a portion of damage you take to the attacker. So long as they hit that specific bit of armour. Conflicts with Web Armour. Lurker in the Deep (LITDe) - Lets a pendulum locate special fishing spots, and even gives it a chance to say what special fish is at those spots. Conflicts with all other Lurkers. Circle of Cunning (CoC) - This is usually the big ticket item. For every 1 power of the cast, skillgain (not characteristics) is improved by 1% (multiplicative). This means at 100 power, it's almost like having sleep bonus active again! Conflicts with Blessings of the Dark. Mind Stealer (MS) - "Killing a non-player creature with a weapon enchanted with Mind stealer may transfer skill points to the player. When a creature is killed, the game chooses a random skill or characteristic the creature has, and if the creature has more points in that skill than the player does, the player gains points in that skill. The amount of skill gained by the player depends on how much more skill the creature has compared to the player, and the power level of the Mind stealer enchantment." This spell has no conflicts. The power and its price: When I'm able to dispel a cast, I'm able to use less ropes by using a method known as Dispel Casting - basically, existing enchants make it harder to improve a cast (though having no enchant at all is just as hard as a 100 cast). Why would you be unable to dispel? Well, when you examine an item, the spells, runes, and imbues display in a particular order. For instance, WoA is always before CoC. So if you have a 109 WoA you don't want dispelled, and you want CoC, I can't utilize Dispel Casting to my advantage. Anyway, here's the PRICES: So if I can't dispel (due to an imbue, rune, cast sooner in Dispel Order, or shatter protection you wish to preserve) yet you still want a high cast, the price must reflect that. Since if I did operate at usual prices without Dispel Casting, I'd be operating at a loss. So here's the prices if you still want those high casts, but you require that I don't use dispel: The shatters: Unfortunately, shatters are almost unavoidable. While there's a chance that your casts will go well over what you pay for (hooray!), there's also the chance the item will simply blow up (boo!). While Metallic Liquids from rifts can prevent this fully, it also means I cannot dispel CoC or Mind Stealer. And while Seryll may also avoid it, who wants to use Seryll items? Barring these methods, a shatter is rolled on every cast; so the higher the enchant I aim for, the most casts I have to do, the more likely it is to shatter. Improving the QL helps, but this is extremely minimal past QL70. There's also a rune that can reduce the chance, but this turns a 1% into a 0.9%. Here's some numbers. I have no policy for replacing items that shatter. If reasonable, I may offer non-rare variants of items at the QL given, but I also completely understand finding a different caster if something you love shatters. *The 100 Channeling Celebration Sale*: To celebrate me reaching 100 Channeling I am offering 20% off of all CoC and WoA enchants, but only if you're getting an item/resource that I am able to provide! This includes things like: Steel Skillers Oak Skillers Iron Skillers you'll imp up the moment you have it anyway High QL Rock Shards And more things that I can shatter freely with no consequence! So it does not include things with existing enchants, runes, rarity, signatures beyond my own. "But Stan, isn't this identical to your last sale" yes

    The option to set the automatic sleep bonus timeout timer from 10 minutes to whatever players would like. The option to buy silver mirrors so players can change their appearance I know we can buy gold mirrors, but the cost doesn't seem well thought out. I'd imagine the majority of players interested in changing their appearance would be casual players, and casual players aren't willing to sink 35,000 marks, or 8 months of premium time (64 euros) on a simple change of appearance. Some other things I'd like to see is the introduction of micro transactions for things like skins beyond just the monthly skin.

    As "Warhammer" is the only subskill of "Hammers" - i suggest it changed to "Maces" (the word 'mace' comes from 'large hammer') instead and add a few weapons making it look like this: - Maces (formerly known as Hammers): Small mace (small) Morning star (medium) Flail (2h) Warhammer (in game already) For clubs we can add a few also, and in the same time make use of that ole shaft we all are using as weapons: - Clubs: Shaft (in game already) Cudgel (small) Bludgeon (medium) Spiked club (2h) Huge club (in game already)

    So, it's been almost a year since the UI update gave us the default key, which has been pretty helpful I gotta say. But there is still the bug where when you're riding a horse and you want to dismount, you can't use the default key for it even though it shows up on-screen. you have to either click the ground (where the same dismount default key works) and then spin around to find your horse, or use the old-school right-click > dismount. Rather than work on heat maps or whatever new feature that you devs have thought of to help the poor helpless newbs not die, maybe fix some bugs, just sayin. Also, when are we going to get a default key for Ride when leading a horse? We still have to right-click in order to ride a horse. Priorities people!

    I'm a new player to this game having started when Cadence launched. When I started with very little idea of how the game works, the map feels massive without world shrinking items like Boats, Wagons etc, everything seems to take ages to do, and when you running past deed after deed trying to find a spot to setup I found it to be quite offputting. Now I've got a bit more experience, I have Boats and Wagons, and everything still seems to take ages to do. I do enjoy the exploring element, but I'm very much aware of the fact I'd have probably not bothered to even setup if it wasn't for the fact I was with a group of people who wanted to keep going. I don't think adding a vague heatmap removes too much from the exploration, but it would make the game a lot more friendly towards new players. I'd say not having the heatmap is gearing more towards established players who can travel the map easy, and having the heatmap more suits new players who cannot travel the map so easy (presumably these are the ones more likely to be looking for a deed spot) Edit: Couldn't the heatmap be on a toggle? So people who want to use it can activate it, and people who would rather explore themselves can leave it toggled off? I also agree about the map dumps coming out more often, the community maps are brilliant but only as accurate as the infomation supplied, I know a huge amount of the road network on Cadence for example has not been submitted to the map, so people simply wont know its there looking at the map.

    Well, I like skins too but it would be nice if they were available in cycles, because for example, as a new player I have no chance to get the shield skin.

    I for once really hope and assume this was a one time action from the devs. Please dont alter anymore rift times, as it will just mess with someone elses time schedule. Let the rifts times be and the ones that can and will attend can do it to the planned schedule. Edit: i didnt really see the point with altering the rift times on Melody or any other server at all, just to have said that.

    This is a fair point, but it is just a suggestion for the ~15 people who would normally go to the Melody rift for JUST this cycle of rifts. The "more rift points" is specifically because if the ~150 on Cadence can also make the Melody rift then the ~15 people will receive way more rewards. Whilst this is true the time it will take means that every single rift cycle the ~150 miss out on a 2nd rift that they may have been able to attend and for those that aren't able to make the Cadence rift due to scheduling can't make the Melody one either. The hope is that everyone is willing to sacrifice 1 rift cycle on Melody to create separation and then be further rewarded in the future. It was not intended and the fact that the devs won't be doing anything means that it's up to us to do so. I don't follow this part because the result of this is to be able to spend less time to get the rewards people want.

    That is exactly what the uniques need; lairs and domains. Maybe a built in mechanic on all servers that once a unique has wandered about for x amount of time it looks for a home and settles in and then won't venture beyond a given radius unless actively provoked. Don't want to be hassled by the Forest Giant? You would only need to stay out of his forest. If you get the hankering, and the help, to go slay a dragon, he will be in his lair waiting for you.

    This is just a game. But real people play it, and what makes this game so incredibly awesome is the people. On these digital lands, we have laughed, cried, run screaming from scary things, gotten lost, rescued each other, killed each other, found dragons and giants, built empires and cabins, forged alliances, built bridges and roads, and woven stories with each other for years. And, like in real life, sometimes something really tragic happens, and we lose players to the death that you can't fix by running to go get your corpse. Those players deserve a place to be remembered. I would like to create that place, but I need your stories and memories. Please pm me with the names of fallen heroes you knew personally, and tell a 5k or less word story about them, so your words can echo across the valleys and oceans, skip like rocks across the lakes, leaving ripples that gently move us all towards moments of remembering those who helped build our world, and are no longer in it. When the page gets built and posted, I will post here and in game to let everyone know where it is. Thank you all. Please pm me with your stories instead of just commenting here so I have them in one place and can get them onto the page.

    yes they tend to simply pop from undergound in a few weeks on Epic. On the other hand I've seen a blue dragon living for many months in an open mine and it did not even chase anyone outside its mine.

    Maybe feathers could be found in a coop or whilst foraging near a coop. Anyone who has ever kept chickens will tell you how many feathers get blown around.
