Come on down to the Black Hatchling's Bounce House! Come on down to Oops I Did It Again at K15 where, thanks to an assortment of Britney Spears themed stuff, you too can have her songs play in your head over and over even as you try to sleep! Extra bonus since this will probably cause Fabricant to have to play some MIDI Britney Spears songs too! We will be opening the Super Safe Bounce House at around this time: Remember to bring a tent for safety, and for even more safety, get there early! As ever, everything will be rolled! And look, for once I remembered a map!

Currently we have a few humanoid npc's that you can have on your deed: traders, merchants, and tower guards. All of these are part of a different system and serve some other purpose. I'd like to suggest that a new basic, entirely function-less "decoration" npc is added (Think bookshelf with a different model), so that you can place them around your deed to make it seem a bit more alive. Obviously not crafted directly, perhaps you craft a "villager request form" and upon 'use' the NPC will arrive. Have an inn? Give it an innkeeper behind the front desk, and some customers sitting at tables. Blacksmith shop? Add a blacksmith and his apprentice. I really think it would let us add to the atmosphere of our deeds that aren't full of real players, and allow a bit more of role-playing with your buildings. Some enhancements to the basic idea could be: - Naming of the npcs - Randomised model selection - Get them to sit on chairs or stand in a set position - Allow some amount of walking around similar to animals do, with some restrictions to prevent them leaving a building, or the deed area. - For a more advanced version, perhaps the tech for highway routing could be used to place routes for the npc's to follow.

So we have a spell for finding the rock level, very handy in planning mines etc. I purpose we have the same spell but for water level, when some distance from the water edge, in the mountains etc, its really quite hard to work out where the water level is, a simple spell that does the same as mole senses but for water would be a god send in planning. I don't think is game breaking but could be handy to have in our tool box.

I have already suggested display racks, but I would also like to see display cabinets and cases. This is not so much for things a character uses regularly but for items that are "display only". The display cabinet should; lock - so that items on display cannot be stolen. Permissions would be specific to the cabinet, and independent of deeds, buildings, what-have-you. protect the items in them, preventing any decay on-deed - so that items displayed do not need to be constantly monitored and repaired. display the item - obviously. I am envisaging a shelf-less cabinet with pegs or hooks on the inside of the rear to hold items, and with front and sides made from crossed metal ribbons or bars. It could possibly come in short and tall varieties, with the short one able to be placed on tables, cupboards etc.

Essentially, unify the action of making paper, and the various books/journals/almanacs under papyrusmaking and rename it to bookbinding. It'll round out the skill nicely, and they'd still need to deal with leathermakers/tailors for their leather/cloth. It leads to less confusion from the player perspective. Optional extra:- Unlock this skill for all priests (because, in terms of lore and history, priests were your main bookbinders/keepers of wisdom before the printing press).

I was lucky enough to get this screenshot, and wanted to show others how to tell White-Dotted Flowers (rarest in Wurm) apart from others. Note, that in the Spring and Summer seasons, this may look a bit different. Autumn is the best time to find these flowers, as they pop out quite easily with an intense fuschia/hot pink color. How do you tell regular pink flowers apart from white-dotted flowers? Above is an example. The white-dotted flowers are the ones right above the yellow ones. Regular pink flowers are below. Pink flowers are balls of pink fluff, while white-dotted flowers are succulent drops of fuschia lollipops. Why hunt for the latter? They are a status item and look stunning on any deed, plus are a great gift to give. Vynora has blessed us with these!

Hello! A new marketplace has been in progress the last few months, on the Northern end of Independence and right along the water for ease of travel. Featuring a small church for prayers, a tavern/inn to rest your weary head, a public crafting space, and a selection of merchants with different wares for your perusing, as well as many pens offering 5 speed horses and hellhorses and the occasional champion pet. Celestial Market is on the highway system for easy routing, and just along the shore of Samling Fjord at E15 on Independence. If you arrive during the night, you'll know you're there when you see all of the bright colors found around the deed ^ ,^ We do have quite a few merchant stall spaces available for anyone who would like to claim one and place a merchant (or more than one) into this beautiful marketplace. Open this spoiler to see visually on the map Decently stocked so far, but always still a work in progress I hope to add many more things into the marketplace, along with the co-owner (my best friend). Will soon have clay and peat pits available for public digging, and currently do have tar. You'll be able to purchase animals, archeology fragments, tailoring goods, tools, weapons, armors and clothing, etc, as well as beverages and liquid foods from the bartender inside the Tipsy Troll Tavern. For more marketplace photos, see the spoiler below!

It will not be fun if you have less than 50. You have two options: A ) Bring your own corbita you have imped to as much as 50 QL. Just to repeat: a semifinal is mandatory if you want to borrow a ship, and free to join for others. Time: 2 hours before the main race, and 1 hour before the main race. New players: remember you need 21.05 mind logic. Countdown to the first semifinal: Additional remarks: a) Please claim your ship for the semifinals 15 minutes before race start. After that, ships can go to the next people on the list. b) A person can race in semifinal 1, and afterwards can also be allowed in semifinal 2 if there is a slot. c) To have your ship improved to 50 QL, arrive at least two hours before the semifinals. d) The Race Official ship is open for spectators that want to sail along. e) *After* the start, spectators and other people on the server, can be invited to the race chat. f) The Race Official ship will follow the leaders, and gives general directions on the route, but it is up to the contestants to find the optimal track g) If you get stuck, you are allowed to drag the ship.

Key aspect of Wurm Online is the freedom to do whatever you want, if we put a meta in the small pvp this game has, you are going against the inner Wurm nature. Who would want to play a crossbow pvp game? just to CSGO if you want to shoot someone. This game has enough weapons, devs should remake and balance them in a way they are all viable and fun, instead of a meta which limits the creativity and FREEDOM aspect of this game. Just my 2 copper.

To be honest, Wurm's "afk combat system" could be replaced by almost any other combat system and it would be more interactive than what we have. The big issue with it is the engine Wurm runs on. We'd need actual player collisions, hitboxes and such to have a combat system like Mordhau or Kingdom Come Deliverance. In the absence of coding collisions, then we'd need actual abilities to use in combat that are much more realistic. Think games like Wow that doesn't have player to player collision. We could use things like "thrust", "parry up" "parry down", "tackle", "throw knife" "throw net" , "feign", "riposte" etc as combat abilities to make pvp a hundred times more interesting. As for historical accuracy in games, when it comes to warfare, it's simply impossible. The reasoning behind it is the nature of warfare itself. Humans always wanted to be in the meta-aspect of warfare, aka have the best weapons available. Remember when the terrifying power of the french knighthood was extinguished at Agincourt? For centuries, cavalry was a game changer in warfare, and in one day English and Welsh Longbowmen fell thousands of soldiers. In Wurm, its warfare technology would be situated somewhere around the 11th century (since we don't have crossbows yet). I'm not gonna delve into other anachronisms such as the existence of caravels or other Wurm tech. In such a context, considering we have plate, mail and leather, the dominant weapon should be the hammer, longsword or axe (to break plate, stab it or crush its wearer), the spear (against cavalry charges) and the longbow. Other weapons would be rather pointless. Shortbows were usually weapons used by light cavalry to harass the enemy (see mongol tactics). Clubs shouldn't be discounted either but in Wurm they are not viable (sadly). If we'd apply RL meta to Wurm, fights should mainly revolve around who can use a longbow mostly. And in Wurm you can't use it (for some reason ) if a target is within 10 tiles. Wurm still has many balancing issues. Anyway, TLDR, without collisions, formations are mostly pointless (such as pike and shield), the meta in Wurm cannot be related to RL historical references (look up in history and see that leather armor was pretty much non existant, yet many movies and games portray it as a standard). Do we have gambezons (akatons) ? Nope. Do we have crossbows? Nope. If wurm was historical, crossbows would simply be the dominant weapon in game. We could add more weapons and gear to the game if we wanted to, and I'd support that. But mostly for balancing and diversity reasons rather than accuracy. In RL a gambezon would be the go to armor to start with. There are some beautiful videos out there showcasing how a thick gambezon can stop a longbow arrow or even a bolt.

Doesn't do what I am suggesting. What if your in a valley and don't have a friend standing in water? or your miles from water? It only works if the helper person stands in water and to be honest if your that close to water there's np at all , as you can just count slopes. Now being 100's of tiles from water its a lot harder to work out how deep you have to dig to hit water level, I see no downside to adding a spell to help people who need to plan things having this tool in tool box.

There was a change in adapting mob numbers to numbers of participants, but that was after Jackal launch in September, 2019. 10+ sufficiently strong and well equipped participants may close a rift no shorter than 100+ . There will still be a difference if less than 5 rift fighters engage in combat. I fought in a couple of rifts with 1 to 2 others, and that may take 6 hours or more, require to waive warmaster combat, and need tricks like ninja saccing of hearts, at least in the last 2 rounds. The Niarja figures will adapt after the next round of rifts, I assume. There simply no useful metrics existed for previous rifts at the first start, and Niarja data had to be updated accordingly. Niarja is an invaluable service though, and be grateful for - it is volunteer's work, after all.

Hello! Looking for a Panfiller to make grinding out cooking less painful. What is a PanFiller? A panfiller is someone who does basically that, fill pans. Specifically for me I'd require ONE(1) meat and ONE(1) veggie in every pan. I currently have like 250 pans, and enough meats and veggies. If I provide the stuff? I'll pay 2s per 1k pans filled. If YOU provide meats/veggies and extra pans? I'll pay more depending on materials and how many provided. Only looking for low QL stuff for this. How will this work and Location? You'll have to come to my deed, Kookie Land on G21/22 (We're attached to the highway) and fill pans here Please be open to spending some time here, since this will be a time consuming task. P.S Bed will be provided as well. DM me in game at Kookiepop or here on the forum ❤️

Deed upkeep. Presumably, when a deed's upkeep is being paid, the notion is that SOMEONE is being paid for all that upkeep. So who is that someone? Spirit templars are the only NPCs that are being paid out of upkeep. What about the lamplighters, to light and snuff the lanterns, fireplaces, braziers etc? What about whoever is maintaining the buildings to stop them decaying? There is a lot of room to create NPC roles for existing mechanics in the game for deed upkeep. Maybe the bigger the deed the bigger the staff. Barkeeps, innkeepers, stablehands, dockworkers; these could all be set up to operate much like merchants, although maybe with a bit more mobility - whether they need to be paid for their services on a user-pays basis or whether they are "paid" out of deed upkeep. WU has a pretty neat Crafter NPC, but I can see how that could seriously unbalance some elements of WO. A modified version might be a good addition to the village workshop, though.

I have just been watching Dracaa's stream, and watched her lead 4 horses up to the wagon and then have to go through the process of hitching each one in turn using the menu. It is apparently possible to set a key-bind for 'hitch', but that still means at least 1 key would need to be pressed 4 times. I am just thinking it might be easier and faster if there were a 'Hitch All' option. This would mean that if you are leading several animals using a halter rope, or separate ropes, clicking 'Hitch All' (or using a key-bind for 'Hitch All') would fill all remaining empty animal positions on the wagon with any animals being led. Examples: Before 'Hitch All' After 'Hitch All' Leading 4 0 Empty Wagon Positions 4 0 Animals on Wagon 0 4 Before 'Hitch All' After 'Hitch All' Leading 4 2 Empty Wagon Positions 2 0 Animals on Wagon 2 4 Before 'Hitch All' After 'Hitch All' Leading 2 0 Empty Wagon Positions 3 1 Animals on Wagon 1 3 Before 'Hitch All' After 'Hitch All' Leading 4 2 Empty Cart Positions 2 0 Animals on Cart 0 2 I'm not the first to think of this as the following posts show!

I can understand why for PvP it's good to have the chat display your faction like HOTS JK or MR, but on PvE I imagine it would be much more useful and less confusing for new players if Freedom was called Cadence, Melody, or Harmony. This does not apply to GL-Freedom, but also applies to SFI.

You start by heading straight North from the start line in M13/M14 and make a round trip around the Western region of Harmony, passing through some man-made canals and other obstacles along the way. [1] You must go under the high arch of the bridge. [2] Here is a small sand island inside the great lake, you must go on the inside of the sand island and make a turn. [3] Go North around the Shoalhaven island.

I would like to see 1 of 2 changes. 1. For every 10 skill in AH, one random negative trait to be removed from the possibility of being bred so that by AH 80, breeders will no longer be breeding negative traits. 2. Or, for every 10 AH skill, the chance to breed any negative trait(s) be decreased by 10% so that by AH 90 there would only be a 10% chance of getting a negative trait and by AH 100, no chance at all. The exception being for related animals. At least this way, there is a reason to intentionally progress in AH.

You call it 'bad game design' - but rifts are spawned based on when players closed them last, they're not purposely coded to happen at the same time - so you (players) can technically adjust this if you want to hit both. Either hold off going after one together, or stretch them out so they're not lumped on top of each other. It WILL spread out over time. It just happens that right now, you're finishing them at the same time on each server.

(picture soon i been lazy, sorry) What is HOTSNPVPPHD? Horde of the Summoned New Player versus Player Players Housing Development. It's a free pre-built and stocked housing area (2 individuals per house) with the necessary items to help get started quickly such as forges, bulk storage bins, and beds. We're aiming to encourage new players on the Northern islands (Harmony, Melody, Cadence) to come over and try out Defiance and PvP. If you are currently on the northern islands, and want to try PvPing, send me a private message with some basic information about yourself (name, discord, experience, time zone, pvp experience, any past kingdom history, what interests you). We have a portal right outside the house ready for use. If you are enjoying it, you can always create your own house too! Note: You do not have to commit full time to living here on Defiance, we're happy to have you hop between the PvE server and Defiance. Why try Defiance? You have a chance to gain permanent affinities from killing enemies and always gain a temporary timed affinity. One affinity = 10% skillgain in that skill. You gain karma for each kill. Defiance is a full loot system, and you gain easily acquire valuables off players. There's no cooldown between transferring between Defiance and the other islands. You can come over and PvP when needed. A unique different perspective on the game. See how to work together in a large kingdom. Daily PvP, both large and small skirmishes. What do you need? A forum account Discord Working microphone Helps to speak English, but we have some Russian players Contribute in some way. While we want to have new players, we can't provide with everything. A good village requires everyone to contribute in some way - smithing, crafting, farming, breeding Again, if you're interested, send me a PM on the forums!

uncommon. A far cry from "NEVER" Or, you can just slow-create. Default rare-window time is 20 seconds, boostable up to 30 seconds. If you have a 24 second rare window roll time as a member of your deed, you can create a horseshoe every ~22 seconds to be safe, and when you hit the window, you'll get a shoe. You'll save a lot of iron this way, and on average you'll get one every 263 horseshoes. While correct that only a success will work, it's a 1/5 chance for the rarity roll to succeed, not 1/10. 100% false. Yes, for ALL accounts, inspirations average out to 1 per hour. This is because (roughly speaking) every second there's a roll of 0-3600, if it rolls 0 you get a rare drumroll window. There's also a roll of 0-7200, where if you get 0, you get an affinity gain window. Anyone who told you that noob accounts get more inspirations than older accounts is as trustworthy as someone who tells you that putting food in a barrel with water slows its decay, or that killing parent animals prevents inbreeding checks on the children. (These have both long-since been proven to be player misunderstandings based on limited anecdotal experience)

I actually love the ideas in some of these comments. In particular, the idea of a bard to put in our taverns is adorable. Even if we can't have ones with complex interactions, some very basic ones would be nifty. I would imagine pathing would be an issue for them, so we'd need some stationary options that link to an object in a similar way the merchant links to the merchant stall. Bard: links to a stool on a small platform. Will play music autonomously or can select 2-3 options through interaction. Barkeep: Linked to an oven model. The merchant for food and drink. Inventory is limited, serves bread, cheese, stew (hot), and ale. Prices are static and foods must be filled by owner, but foods do not decay as though placed in an FSB. Follower: Attaches to altar of chosen god, then will quietly kneel in reflective prayer.

I could see this being quite cool if arrow creation was a better system than creation and imping each arrow. Removing the creation ql issues and having an extra part to improve the QL would be cool, as would the ability to imp a stack at once. I think this is an instance of an idea being good, but the foundation of the system makes it difficult, perhaps adjusting the foundation would prove better.

People are not (usually) trying to get 8 traits or whatever maximum. They're trying to get 5 speeds, the same 5 speeds as at 50 skill. But from the table in the OP, at 60-80 skill there is a lower chance to get 5 speeds than at 50 skill. I was joking with a friend that AH is "the" skill you don't want to skill up. Or I wasn't joking.
