Hey quick bit about us - Long time players (14 years) playing a relaxed game, trying not to grind this time around! Just having fun! Looking for somebody in the Australian or New Zealand timezone (not essential, just our timezone) Age, sex, or experience doesn't matter (happy to help another new player learn the game), just relaxed and a sense of humour (we really dont take things too seriously haha) Can do any jobs you like, dont want people locked into things they dont like We are located at M9, a large natural undeveloped deed, with great mines, coast nearby, plenty of room to grow and great hunting Drop us a line here or ingame (Saturnfive)

What about Christmas tree gets a revamp, because is small, ugly, old and petty, and there's no difference if you have it in a house, in the middle of the deed, in the open or in a starting town? The Christmas tree should be a joy not only to have, but to look at it, not only a mean to get your Christmas present and spare a trip to a starting town for it, but a nice, sparkling, colourful and magnificent symbol of - perhaps - the most loved celebration in the world! And while we're at it, could we please please PLEASE have the gift wrappings back? Years ago they were removed because people were "abusing" them, and wrapped a pelt or a rare log (game breaking, I know!!); nowadays, people give away free 100 ql, enchanted pelts, and we still didn't get them back? Why? Why this stuborness? Every single year since they were removed they were asked back, and every single year (or almost) we have been told (IF we got an answer) No! and that was it, no context, no explanation, just "no". Suggestion: redesign the Christmas tree and make it nice; more than that, make it sizeable with the tree age - use a mature pine for a smaller one, am older, very old or overaged for bigger and bigger versions, so it can fit and match any place, from a humble hut to a castle, or a deed center. Bring the gift wrappings back. Prevent abuse by making them disappear the day Winter Holidays symbols (Santa, starting town Christmas trees, julbords, light beams) are removed. Both are easy and simple solution, not making anyone happier than other, not turning Christmas into a business; Christmas shouldn't be a show off of skills and wealth, but a warm, friendly celebration, when we remember we're all humans, we're all the same, we came from the same place and will go to the same place after some time spent here. Happy Winter Holidays!

I think people are just restless due to the lack of communication on new content (or even old content being added to northern servers), people are making their own content instead on the forums.

I think the discussion about fatigue has been going on so long that you can no longer beat the dead horse due to fatigue. It's certainly something that has been in discussion with the dev team as well, and we will continue to discuss it. Arguing amongst each other here doesn't help the discussion, so I think at this case the matter is best left dropped, please.

Nah, a Christmas tree needs to be a conifer, so pine or fir. The type of scrap deciding the size of the tree has no sensible reasoning; it would seem entirely arbitrary. The OP says skill, which makes some sense but doesn't allow for user choice. There is already a dynamic that uses the weight of the felled tree to determine the weight of the Christmas tree, so it would make sense to extend that just a little and have the weight determine the scale.

Long term reader, first time poster. From what I've seen thus far, priests need more vast punishment for failure. The fact that anyone can be Tangleweave'd and just recast again right after makes it un-strategic and spam heavy. (Spam the spell, they'll fail to tangle one of these times!) Instead the spell should backlash because of the Tangleweave, and take 50% of the favor cost from the person that got interrupted and or put the spell on cooldown or a longer cooldown based on the spell. Off deed mine hops (especially rock face mine doors) would just make the game worse in my opinion. There's enough people hiding around in wait as it stands, give them more incentive to hide in a mine long term off deed and you'll have less people willing to go into or toward enemy lands. I'd say limit it to Mine Doors that are visible and have doors for they can be locked and lockpicked. Making it so anyone can continue to leave through a mine door with or without permissions. Adding a small window of enemies able to go into your open door behind you (1-3sec) and I feel it would stop the abuse of the door for a long term uphill fight. > There are too many bonuses for people to sit on deed and wait for people to come to them. Perhaps instead of making it skill based, making it based on which type of wood you are using to make the Christmas tree. There is currently 6 Lumber Trees in the game (Birch, Cedar, Maple, Willow, Fir and Linden) as well as 4 nut trees (Oak, Pine, Walnut, Chestnut). If each one creates a different sized Christmas tree then everyone can have a Christmas tree for any sized room. Maybe the big Oak tree will give you a Rockefeller Center sized tree (Hopefully it looks better then the Rockefeller Center tree), while the birch tree would give you your average small tree. So from me a Big +1 for bigger Christmas trees but a Huge -1 to making it skill based.

Willow. Willow is best. It doesn't look it, but it is the shortest wood name of all. It isn't annoyingly long like Oak-enwood, or Fir-wood. Willow is beautiful to look at as a grown tree and beautiful to look at in inventory. Obviously this is the wood Vynora likes the best.

I can appreciate the communication on the matter and I'm glad discussion is/was happening regarding it. I do sincerely hope some sort of decision is made that benefits the players and hopefully, kill this argument from happening again.

In any case, as OR said, CA Help is there for answers and answers that only the asker can see a) deprives all other players of the information which they might also find helpful b) would make it difficult for CAs and players alike to know if an answer has been given and c) makes it doubly hard to correct information given in error by another player/CA, because everyone gets it wrong sometimes.

THAT's a GREAT IDEA.... xmas tree with a glowrune! you totally misunderstood that.. it was a tip to reduce the weight of it.. not the size, and it's already a working mechanic for years to lower weight that way, just not obvious to all, maybe.. just pointing it out if it's of use to anyone.. one way to solve this is to not use skill but carrying weight so it's all based on how much you can carry.. which makes relatively anyone able to cut a ~300kg tree(43body strength) and pop a giant tree but no.. didn't mean or suggest that above in previous post.

I am not talking about Christmas gifts as such, simply to make the point that the Christmas tree ought to be the same for everyone. Share and share alike comes to mind over Christmas does it not? It is surely not the time for 'I want my tree to be bigger than yours'?

There is nothing to deal with.You just return the item to the owner after you finished your job on it.It is the wurm way. The only time you could keep the item is when you get a order to create and improve the item,then you can just make another one and keep the rare. Most items have creator name on them and some people care who's name is on them.

There is nothing to ticket, if you agreed to imp thier stuff its not their fault you got a roll and you give it back
