6 pointsMy favorite sunset from Meerhaven: clear skies, Glengarry in the distance, and the stars just beginning to come out at dusk.

5 pointsne and all are invited to attend the slaying of The venerable fat fierce green dragon hatchling. The slaying shall occur promptly at 8pm UTC. The following clock has been provided for those whom may live in timezones that are not GMT, and require conversion. And it shall occur only at the location marked roughly on this map: N13 upon the isles of Release. Turning up elsewhere is extremely unlikely to incur a dragon fight. the bottom left arrow is nearest, it's on N13, I should stop using this image The rules of previous dragon slayings shall be repeated in this one: Alts in local are fine. All those who join in the fight (and are not, themselves, alts) are eligible to retrieve loot rolled from the corpse of the dragon, as well as the corpse itself. All items attained from the dragon will be rolled. All people are advised to arrive early, lest they miss the event. Washing basins will be provided to slow the spread of COVID-19 in this trying time. In the leadup to the fight, all characters are asked to wash and engage in social distancing.

3 pointsCould we have a change that make blessed braziers behave same as blessed lamps when offdeed?

2 pointsIn my heart of hearts, I'm a stargazer. Spent many evenings as a young girl lugging a telescope into the fields outside my parents' house. Sidereal time is the system that we use to do astronomy - using the stellar background as a frame of reference instead of the solar day. Think of it as the time that the stars keep - and that's the time I keep in my heart. I'll forgive you for using 'Side' as a nickname, but all my friends know that they should call me Auntie Sid. ๐ And to think all this time, I thought I had you pegged as as a fan of Sumerian mythology. ๐คจ

2 pointsAs some of you might have seen, Retro announced the steam page last night/today and revealed that I had been making some screenshots for that purpose. To make my task easier, Retro and Samool helped get me set up with the tools I need to be able to make them, and so over the past couple of weeks I have been traveling around the various servers admiring your guys amazing creations and taking screenshots of the ones that felt especially picturesque. Retro already revealed some of them in the Steam page, but I thought y'all would be interested in seeing the rest of the final ones I came up with, together with what was the name of the deed and what server it was on. Below, are just a few samples. There were 41 in total. Here are a few samples, but if you want to check out all the rest, you can do so from this link: https://www.andrea.net/wurm_shots_fixes/forum/

2 pointsFall on Affliction - finally got water reflections working, only took a new pc.
-
1 pointWith the same tool (90ish QL steel pickaxe, 98 botd) action timers are significantly slower on Elevation compared to Affliction. My mining timer goes from roughly 2.3s on Affliction to 3.1s on Elevation mining a wall (any vein or rock wall).

1 pointInstead of picking and choosing individuals, can we just have all plantable light sources able to be blessed and behave as lamps offdeed?

1 pointlet me start with 'YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG' explanation.. steel unless you have abundance of high ql.. it's not wise to improve past your skill. you're doing smaller imps than what you could with higher skills and higher ql tools. Pro tip.. get that 99blacksmithing first.. before improving steel items to 95, further more.. heavy weight consuming type like doors(I get that you can use small bits like improving several armors/etc.. and using the last 0.01 or bit more to improve the door.. but... that's about it.. with the optimization.. and your imps with low skill and low ql tools aren't going to scale well.. rest is left to rng) also yea I see another good opinion here: We're not joking/trolling etc.. it's how the game is.. if you push over your skill.. you do terrible job.. it's why people grind to 90-99 and improve to a bit less, it takes less time and your oveall time is better spent that way(considering that... you've 'wasted' a lot to get high skill in the first place, it pays off later)

1 pointWhat about tools you're using? I think that you have low tier tools, skill is kinda low ( i starter to imp to 90ql more easily after reaching 95 ( that's leatherwork ))

1 pointAt ele theres this "new" rule that On the Elevation server, u can only make 150 (or u could say 151) dirt slopes in stead of the regular x3 skill makes 300 slopes. (This is probably done so u dont need to have skill 100 too raid pvp deeds who often have dirtwalls for protection. ) Ok so far so good. This is probably all okeyish and intended. Normally when slopes become too steep (the dirt slope is greater than 3x your digging skill) theres this message: You are not skilled enough to dig in such steep slopes. Ok now it comes: On elevation u get this message AFTER u get to 150. So u get the message at slope 151. Soooooo u can make a slope 151, but the same person cannot remove it. (This is not the same with the regular 300 rule. If u can make a 300 slope u can remove it.) The problem with this is: With the 300 rule only the people with digging skill 100 could remove the dirtwalls that were 300. (Other than dropping dirt.) With the 151 rule NO ONE can remove the 151 slope. (Other than dropping dirt.) The solution of making a lower maximum slope so people with less dig skill can remove it, has become worse than the original problem. Because no one can undo a dirtwall of 151 on a mountain deed (as dropping dirt would flow). So newer players cant undo a 151 slope, while they would have had a chance to undo a 300 slope over time due to skill. So normally, u cant make what u cant remove, and the message says the warning right in time. But with the 151 rule the warning comes after u make something u cant undo. Solution is easy: - Just make it like the 300 slope: U get a warning and cant continue when u get to a slope that u cant make any higher. (In other words, just make the max 150 in stead of 151, must be a 2 minute fix for a dev.) PS: To make it clear im not telling the rule should be reversed back to 300. Im just telling: Let the ingame warning be at 150 and dont let people make a 151 they cant undo. Thx for reading. Atazoth

1 pointWith the 2019 summer revamp to Elevation, stats were squished a bit to make it easier for newer players to compete with older ones. We were told this stat squish was not supposed to change anything outside of PvP, but it still seems like stamina drains a lot faster when doing "non-PvP" activities like travel, mining or smithing - but it does.

1 pointYou'd probably be better off asking in the slaying thread, since that's likely what the organisers are watching.

1 pointThe bug was regarding no-drop items like sleep powders. If you moved them into, say, a backpack in your inventory, you couldn't move them back out. That has been fixed.

1 pointNevermind It's Anubis again Seeing as the last server you guys ran completely dissapeared off the face of the earth, i'll pass.

1 pointYes CreZ, I totally understand and have thought about the fact that there are players such as yourself that feel like that. Heck, I am partially that way myself. Even though anyone is free to travel to my island and explore it, I still choose to keep it disconnected from the rest of the world. Which is why I have refused to connect it with a bridge to the mainland or have it connected to the highway system. So I totally get it. What makes Wurm so wonderful, is that it gives us the option to secure our deed privacy if we so wish. And since privacy is important you, I'm assuming you have already safeguarded it from prying eyes. So even if I were to stumble upon it by mistake some day, you're probably safe. ๐ As for the shots in the collection, none of them were blocked off from the view of the public. Obviously I would have respected that had there been a deed that clearly wanted it's privacy. โค๏ธ
