Hello! I'm Seriphina. I've been working for a long time on my primary deed, Lorewood Gardens, but it felt a bit cramped with the neighbors so close. I set out in search of blue grapes on Xanadu and after falling in love with an island, I've founded a new deed, Dragonwyck. Through this thread I'll take you on my adventure of taming this untouched previously inhabited wilderness and all of the trials and excitement that goes along with designing, building, and living in my new deed. I'll need to remove some of the old terraforming, work through surface mining, set up animal pens, remove old roads, put in new roads, construct buildings, start orchards and farms, and so much more! Current tasks: Terraforming Collapsing old mines Some future building plans: Orchards and farms Tailoring Guild Seri's Cottage Town Hall Stables Historical Society Fort Legios Dairy Barn Saraie's Villa Warehouse Church Harruq's House Smithy Colossus Fishing Hut Carpentry Workshop Guard Towers Brick Factory Apothecary Vineyards Path of Love tile Pottery Workshop Boat Cave Path of Knowledge tile Kitchens Harbor Inn Transmuting resource tiles

I do so love the look of the flowers in Wurm autumn - pity they do not look as nice all Wurm year round. http:// Also a pity that there are so few deer and the few there are are slaughtered needlessly. http://

Hi. I have come back to the game, after quit some years brake, after it all broke down with the release of WU. I am a proud Epic player, and I am sad to see it all abandoned, more sad to be back at JKH and see all the great deeds gone. But I am back at JKH and I got my self some new players with me, and over the last weak, I see more and more players here, and it is great some old ones, some new ones, and us there stay, try to convince them there come back, and want to go to freedom to stay. But I have some players there like to become priests, and as no one online have the different religions, we need to go to Ele to get to the alter, but we can not go there by ship, we need to portal over there, and we can't bring our stof as tolls weapons and so on, so it is nearly impossible to get to the alter on foot. So now we are forced to find things on the ground to get basic tools, to then be able to make at least a robe, so we can get horses to get to the alter. I don't understand why it is needed to close Ele from the rest of Epic, we have some JK players here at Ele as well, that us on JKH wud like to help out, maybe trad with, but we cant. I'm begging you, open op Ele for us again, so one, the new players can get to the alter, and we can start op on the home servers again, and so we can help our kingdom players across the water. Greetings. (Ingame name (Trygve)

To start off, I have a little camp set up so I can have food and water, and a central spot to store things. My little base has a fountain on a water tile, an enchanted mailbox, larder, oven, meditation rug, and of course a christmas tree. A couple of BSBs, FSBs, and crate racks are the humble beginnings of my future storage options. One of my first tasks was to make a large cart to haul crates up and down the hillside to my encampment for dirt storage as well as stone for bricks, mortar, and other building materials. I did splurge a bit on the coin and got a blueberrywood shaft to finish it. Such a lovely color! My Nahjo priest is working on collapsing the old tunnel systems on the island. It initially involved some mining to re-open some old shafts where cave-ins happened, but now he's closing them down. While he toils and prays, Seri is busy crating up all the dirt from the top town. I have a lot of terraforming to do, so I've started at the highest point. I'm removing all of the dirt down to exposed rock so I can surface mine. The island is rather tall, so I want to carve out some good pathways and spaces for buildings. I have 4 villagers that will eventually move with me to the new spot, so we need room to move around. I have exciting plans for this island. I hope you'll follow along as make slow but steady progress and see where development of Dragonwyck will take us.

lol fancy shmancy place. yeah i renamed it very recently. I played the ultima franchise as far back as 1986 but never played ultima online I'm happy you got to see it, it's my baby. I'm glad you got to see Fabled halls as well, Fablecrafter / CJ will be happy. To answer the intrigue, yes FH is still under construction. 🏗️ (2:03) - Trinsic/Knightshade (2:13) - Fabled Halls

ESO is clearly trying to rally, but we are solidly keeping the lead!! Wurm Online (31%, 258 Votes) Make sure everyone votes as we are clearly getting some renewed attention : Wiseman0: "These votes sure have me interested in Wurm Online now as well. Oleg Chebeneev: "All those Wurm fans who came here to vote made me want to try housing there.

I agree. I'm a bit new to wurm, but it was my understanding that elevation was something of a battleground between kingdoms? It makes sense for it to be accessible to players wanting to do some rp-pvp. And yeah, it's impossible to get to the alters without basic tools. I think JK is pretty close to the white beam (if that's what it's called?), and it's still near impossible to get to. I can only imagine what the other kingdoms have to do if they're further away lol. So far we've met some pretty nice people on elevation, and it would be cool to be able to play with them more naturally (seeing as epic is a bit empty right now, any community interaction is welcome). Removing Elevation hinders that quite a bit. But anyway. I agree entirely with Fush. Please let us travel between servers again Thanks Jeyla

I just wanted to add my thanks to Shrimpiie, Impers, Staff and Enchanters as well. I am only in my 2nd month in game and I was dragged along at short notice to this event by xvBabyvx, who suggested it would be amazing for me. I said, "sure", not knowing what the hell I was getting into. I quickly grabbed all my tools and raced up the road on my new steed to join her on the journey to Blackmoor. I arrived and had no idea what to do, with the vague understanding that my tools would be better when I left. First up I found I had a room at the Inn complete with a bed for that much needed Sleep Bonus, I felt a little bit special Over the next few days I dumped my tools into the forges and was amazed to see these high end QL tools come out...they were mine! Then it was explained that I can get them enchanted to help boost my skill gain, simply amazing...and for free, all thanks to the generosity of those in attendance. A bonus on top of that was the fact that I could then Imp other peoples tools and increase my skill gain! *Disclaimer, my imping was low rate but others perfected them after I finished, phew. When I arrived I had 30kg in my inventory, when I left I could hardly walk because of the weight! From a new player to the community, thankyou for your help and generous spirits, I will always remember this, my very first Impalong.

Voted! Wurm Online (32%, 197 Votes) So still in the lead. What surprises me, is that Life is Feudal isn't in that list. Although the houses are pre-set in that game, you still need to haul a shipload of resources to the construction site to build one; something I don't see in some of the other games listed. Oh well, at least we got some nice advertisement and hopefully also a new influx of players. And @Retrograde: do everyone a favour and don't show your 1x1 wooden shack with 60 decay on the walls when you're asked to show some nice pictures of the Wurm housing.............. Thorin

Was glad that @Steveleeb, had shared this to me, so that I could see the reaction when you entered Fabled Halls, I'm glad that it's that impressive to people seeing it for the first time But I have to credit a huge amount of the work done on it to @Shydow, he had done an insane amount of the mining, including removing all the veins that were in the way, most of what I'd done was the planning work for this, as well as helping with some of the mining when I could outside of a full time job in real life. Also, as Steveleeb, had said, it is still under construction, much to do yet, not sure if it will have a housing area to it, but at some point was kinda planning on it being some sort of trading hub, or a crafting guild of some manner, the plan was to be a public access area for people though, regardless ^^

Hm... voted for that too, but I don't think we have enough players to be able to outvote LotRo ^^ [22:01:12] 68 other players are online. You are on Xanadu (207 totally in Wurm).

No classes in Wurm please. What makes Wurm unique and beautiful is lack of classes, even artificial priest class is too much already imo...

Yeah built in Wurm Unlimited as a GM. However this would be absolutely possible to build in Wurm Online just as much! I didn't modify the client or the graphics pack at all. However there are two small details that would have to be modified to do this in Wurm Online: a) I painted the braziers for the lighting. In Wurm, we can't "naturally" paint braziers for some strange reason, so to get that same lighting you'd just have to use lamps instead b) The floorplan is way too big to be able to do in Wurm quite like this. So one would have to build it in sections and then fuse them together with bridges to make it look seamless. Other than those two things, this could absolutely be built in Wurm. No other "trickery"

+1 to this. Some news about what the plan is with Elevation would be nice. When is the reset and will it be open to home islands before or after that.

Hi all. I am a new deed owner on Epic Serenity server, home to kingdom of Jenn-Kellon. I am a old player returning to the game, and I am sad to see JK-H has fallen so much apart, and I like to try to help it up again. We are getting more and more players here at JK, and it is great to see. I am just next to Strongbox, and welcome returning players, new players to join the deed, helping new players to get started, help old players to get bag up on there feet. Then when they have what they need, they can stay on the deed if they like, or go out to the world and try to make a deed for them self. There is no demands to join the deed. We will not make you do stof for us, or anything, you can help if you like, or just go out and do your own stof. Only demand we have is, you are good to others on the server, be helpful, and have fun. If you like to join, then I am Trygve, on discord I am Beafush#1757 Hope to see you in game, Epic will be great again, just whit and see

Thanks, I was sure others have done something along these lines. What I am interested in is how much motivation is there to make this more... universal. Suggesting this as a player driven mechanic, and completely voluntary. Oftentimes any services that may be offered are hard to find. Even scouring items with my mouse it is still often difficult to find out what the village is even called. I hesitate to disembark if I see no clear indicators of anything I am looking for. I would even thumb through vendors once on shore - but wont bother if there is no place to rest, stash horses, etc. But something common to look for... like an iconic tower or the like. I believe a wagon at the end of a dock could be somewhat out of place enough. Beacons might also work for ports. But what about inland? Shop sign by main entries? A gate like structure? My hope is something travelers could grow to anticipate. A habit that deed owners employ - similar to naming guard towers by map location. Not all do it, but thank you to the players that did! As for the community maps, it is disappointing there is seemingly no consistency, but I have no desire to disparage what each map organizer has accomplished - as that is a beneficial role to all.

Off topic, but in the (northeast) US we use both terms: raised beds (planters) or planter boxes.

Severely limited in size even with max carp skills, having to haul materials up a ladder which you can't reach from anywhere anyway, no interior ramps for horses, ugly square windows with no glass, interior roofs bug floors above, half the perms clash with deed perms, hell horses attack you 10 floors below, stairs are wooden slats, don't pave a bridge next to a building or you'll fall through it 50% of the time! Heck, I still voted for Wurm.

Thanks again for all your digging on Pristine last week 😀 I found this picture from January 2013 the first time I visited the crater. You can see there were no trees except those players had planted with the west side all tundra and the east steppe. This is from the south west looking north east.
