I'd love to see hedges changed so that when you are planting them, you have three options: plant low, plant medium and plant high. They'd still start out as low like they do now, but it would set the max height during the planting action. This way we could have low or medium flowering hedges like the rose, lavender, oleander and camellia; or even low cedar/maple if we wanted without having to constantly prune for the desired look. May be interesting to have a high lavender hedge as well I love how the new hedges look, but most don't fit with how my deed plan is designed. *edit* would also like to see the medium hedges raised to be in line with gates in height lol

I have allays wanted to play as a skeleton in a video game and the closest I have ever got was the skele costume from runescape.... its like in RPGS you can never play the role of the monster! I found a playable skeleton race mod for morrowind: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46370 but you can't build and do cool stuff in that game :| if you could please add this then this would be the best game ever it has everything. ~thank you for your time, server space, and cognitive intake I hope I didn't waste it

At first I wondered if wise to make a post of this kind yet the responses received both here and in pms has assured me I wasn't off course. Some comments I expected, yet I didn't expect many to take time to put down thoughts or the heartfelt pms. That takes more effort, time , and courage, as well as care. I thank you for that. It also affirmed what I suspected to be in that others not only had similiar observations but were in some ways having experiences of this nature as well. This not only gives me the notion that it was a timely post, yet also gives me hope some may change as a result, and or others will be buoyed in knowing they are not alone. Of the good suggestions, I wanted to highlight the general essence of them in that, to take things with a grain of salt, take breaks from time to time from game, and another useful was to turn off GL chat from time to time and only use local, alliance, village tabs to screen out constant complainers or doom deliverers. Their remains good in the community that still holds the helpful, resourceful, cut above the rest players we've come to know of wurm over the years. As the game evolves it's good to know some things remain and unlost. Once again to all that took the time to read, let alone comment , I Thank you.

We encountered a bug that had guards load before the towers, which forced a respawn of tower guards across all servers. They're all just dying now because they were born around the same time

Maybe someone should go over to the tar/clay pit, dig around a bit and look in that BSB...

I have had this happen precisely years ago. I had my small magical chest inside my large magical chest. I can clearly recall my large magical chest was inside a large cart at the time as I was moving homes. So, neither in my case were planted as decorations on a deed. I expected the Large Magical chest to take decay dmg, but as brattygirl posted, I didn't expect the small magical chest inside to take damage. I would note that the meals inside all took exactly 10.00 dmg as well. I still have a couple meals left as it happens, still at 10.00 dmg. This has not happened since. I cannot reproduce it either.

Rename your item with your Wurm character's name so it does not get confused with anyone else's items. Then put the item you want enchanted / improved inside the designated Coffins. Your items will then be taken by a high-skilled improver in that specific field and improved to at least 70 quality! Woohoo, who wouldn't want that?! So gather up your lower quality items and join us for a weekend improving party! The Arena will also be open starting halfway through the event. We really hope to see each and every one of you there. I understand what you're saying. And if you're seeking opinions, I'm going to respectfully and humbly offer mine here: As someone who is trying to start an economic server, I feel it defeats the purpose. If one player can claim multiple areas (on some servers there is no deed upkeep) then they can effectively lock down a lot of natural resources (tar, ore, trees, animals, etc.) which are needed to stimulate economic growth. Even if we don't consider that, if the rent is going to be high (such as on my server), it really just gives players more rope with which to hang themselves. When they suddenly realize they can't keep up with the costs (even on an average rent server) and they lose all their land, they are going to be discouraged. And finally. What is the point if I can own a dock, a mine inland, a farm, a tar pit and a clay pit, in interacting with other players? When will I ever trade? What would I trade for? Respectfully, I feel that this is something that would only increase the existing problems of players huddling-up by themselves and there being ultimately no real economics until higher levels on most servers.

Ok, so here's a very interesting idea. Wurm atm can only build on flat tiles, but how about we create foundation pillars that can create a surface to build on. The pillars will be created to your desired height (maybe some presets), you then add adjacent ones that will go to the same height. Now these will create a flat surface on the top to start adding floors. These foundation pillars will work like bridge supports where it calculates materials based on height etc. Now for getting up onto the building, you can maybe start using a ground floor building that connects to the pillars. Heck, what if you started by using a building and expand by using a new floor type with pillars that work in the same way as bridges. So you just make your first floor without pillars on a flat surface then add adjacent ones. The hardest part will planning it out. Do you have to create new tools? UI? Maybe use a surveying tool that you place on the first tile and then add in the direction you want? Just throwing this out there, would be a lot of work but will most likely revolutionise how we build buildings Cheers

Notice the timestamps and that they are all about the same character. Seems to happen every time I cross a server border. Super annoying.

Put in a support ticket in game to have a GM remedy the graphic issue. Be sure the saddle is not equipped. You can leave it somewhere safe and not on your ticket where it is so that a GM can fix in case you are not online at the time.

It's the first time in more than 3 years that I check up on Wurm again, just to find this sad news! And to write this post is the only reason I actually logged into the forums. I've known Eir from when Wurm was still "Gold" - before the crash in whatever year it was, I don't remember, but it was before the Wild / Chaos Server - or whatever name it has nowadays. She's always been good, helpful and fair. She was a person to count on. I've no idea how old she was, but I hope she's lived a long and happy life!

Someone had told me about her passing in a private message and I was saddened to hear this. It's such a shame that in the past few years we've lost some great people that have shaped Wurm and the players in a positive way. Find peace in sanctuary Eir.
