I had a blast hosting the one at my deed on exo, was amazing fun seeing all the efforts of my alliance come together and go so well. Plus from a personal perspective i really enjoyed another excuse to show off my deed. I hadn't attended an impalong since the days of MRH and JKH until hosting one myself so it was a hell of a learning experience. I wanted to make it a yearly event but i've just not had the time to arrange another been so busy irl. Someday maybe...

I have been working with @Yagaover the past few days to provide a new Exodus Community Map Service. @Yagaand @Substr have developed a system which they implemented for the Deliverance server which I have now updated for Exodus EXODUS COMMUNITY MAP LINK Features 1. Map coordinates The map offers a common type of map grid (as an optional overlay), using the same denotation as the in-game map (for example "E 24"). However, to place and find locations in a much more detailed way the new map is based on "tile coordinates" (x, y), making it possible to narrow down locations to a single tile on the server! This allows us to place deeds and landmarks much more precisely than before. (Map coordinates are explained in the next post.) 2. Zoom The map provides various zoom levels, allowing to zoom in from a view of the entire server to close-ups of single deeds. 3. Layers Deeds, Tunnels, Canals, Bridges etc. are actually map layers which can be toggled on and off. You can also choose among two map types (Terrain, Topographical). 4. Finding settlements The map offers an easy-to-use search function for deeds. 5. Selecting locations and copy coordinates You are able to select any point on the map and save the coordinates for future use. Colours and Symbols Map Information This new map has been reproduced based on the previous map maintained by @NESGameproand as such some elements may not be 100% accurate since we are using a completely different system. To this point, if you notice anything missing or in the wrong place in terms of settlements (deeds), highways, tunnels, canals and landmarks, please post in the thread below using the Adding Data guidelines provided. Adding Data Please post in this thread to report new or changed data. (Do not send PMs, neither on the forum nor in-game! Do not use Discord to add data either!) Please use tile coordinates (x, y) to report new map data. (Hover your mouse pointer over the location you wish to report, click once to see the coordinates in the "Selected" field, copy the coordinates.) Deeds: Please report the settlement name and the coordinates of the settlement token. Example: "Serendipity Bay [1650, 1384]" Highways: Please report the coordinates of all points describing the highway (start, "corners", end). Please use this format: "[305,1453], [305,1415], [226,1415], [226,1383], [156,1383]" Tunnels, Canals, Bridges: Like highways. These elements can also be given a name. Other: You can also report clay and tar resources, guard towers, and special named landmarks (like names of lakes and mountains, as long as agreed among the local community.) THANKS! I'd like to thank @Yagafor answering the million and one questions I threw at him, and for him to agreeing to host the actual map and input files. Also, I'd like to thank all the previous Exodus Community Map editors, without which this new map wouldn't have been possible. EXODUS COMMUNITY MAP LINK [Updated the Map links to the secure versions]

Player gods suck and should have never been added. Horde of the Summoned is full of heretics that have forsaken Glorious Libila to instead worship whitelight pretender gods that are just player accounts that get passed around more than your mom. Retro remove them or I will remove your pee-pee.

All good ideas, and we'll definitely be exploring them. Think of this one off as a midyear break before we get into the big stuff, There is plenty going on, and work on Frontier is nearing completion, just nothing to share yet. We will be back this week with all the news of what's going on in Wurm though!

Hello again. I am once more a neighbour to the upcomming rift. https://imgur.com/a/ReytoLn Lake on L 20 is reachable with Knarr. Caravel, Corb or Cog might not pass--not sure. Please respond here, in case you need horses, cotton, tents, food, or anything in that direction. I am happy to help. From last rift, there is a St.James Infirmary - slate 2x2 building, just on shore where lake is (some 150 tiles away from Rift site) unlocked to all, which will have plenty of first aid cotton inside. In hopes to see many of you gathering, I bid you a nice day/night Jimbean Solitary Reminescence

Thank you, I genuinely apprechiate this. I feel like I've been confronted with a lot of malcontents who try to piss on this from the sidelines, and I apologize if I treaded on your toes in my defensiveness against that. There are genuine reasons for why I went for this "hardline approach" though, but it takes another thread to thoroughly discuss it. You can either take my word for it or leave it, or take it with a pinch of salt, but what you propose is, at least as a modus operandi for a forum based organization - more problematic than it would first seem. As an "impromptu organization" as the other caster had attempted, it'd be perfectly fine though, so I can see why I may look like the antagonistic element, that's why it was so important to me in to stress in other posts how both groups did not "come from the same place" exactly. But I think the forum based organization has proven to be a failure, as I predicted in its very OP, not without a bit of cynicism. I'm still deciding on giving it another shot, but I'm not hopeful for it and may do the next one as you say. The thing just is, with the forum post being up and "running", doing it that way would have treaded over and basically betrayed the people who signed up for it. I at least owe them a heads up (well ahead of time) that the operation is cancelled - that is basically the whole reason I denied the caster for this round. I was "honourbound" in a way. I hope that clears up why I didn't go with "the obvious route" as several people, not just you, had suggested.

it was not my intent to personally attack you in any way. I completely respect what you are attempting to do here and understand that this situation is very frustrating for you. I hate seeing people who are really trying to do something nice have their efforts frustrated. I hope this all works out well. However, I do think that modifying your approach upon the lines I have suggested would lead to a much lower frustration level while still meeting the overall objective. Good luck.

Fake news. I asked him to postpone it, and have a go at it the next round. You keep blatantly distorting what has happened, and what the thread is about; it's literally open to everyone. It's not a form of PvP in any shape, I want to see that definition. I'm trying to cooperate with people on our mutual interests, not fight them to further my own. If you don't believe that: I charged RoS a second time after my priest had it to (nearly) clear the roster. And if they put the gun on my chest I would have skipped Holy Crop this round if it's the only way to appease them. Disagreement with how to cooperate on this is one thing, but the notion that this is an aggressive act against someone is ridiculous. And that you think a simple "No" would take a saint tells a lot more about you than anyone else.

As title says, give rotting touch on a gathering tool a chance equal to cast power to destroy whatever you're gathering, for skilling or terraforming or making huge caves or whatever you do that you don't want to leave junk lying around decaying everywhere after, lowering the property value
  11. 2 points
Or just buff Discard? Rotting touch causing damage/lowering gathered QL to deliberately get low tier stuff for increased difficulty in processing or making skiller tools out of sounds like a good application though. I'm all for offensive spells having some utility on tools, like Flaming Aura smelting ore as it's being mined an such.

That's the problem though, you have to be there at the exact right moment or sol which is bad design. Its not a matter of work harder you could be the one charging it all the time for others and still never get it.

So sad to hear you pass and hard to fathom. I loved to receive the occasional email with recent news about your recent Wurm endevours, thoughts about cancer treatments and learning stuff like the Budwig Protocol. You were always so loving, caring and kept my hopes high although I sensed your struggles. Thanks for all you've done for Wurm and the community. Rest in Peace, Janice.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but as Eir is a big part of wurm as a once GM and player of the game, I thought this might be the best place. . I am sorry to say that Eir's son has posted news that she has sadly passed away today. I'm sure there are still some old-timers around who have either spoken to or became friends with Janice during their time in wurm and would want to know of her passing. She was an amazing woman and a great GM in her time in wurm. She became a good friend to me outside of the game, and I will miss her very much. -Dizzybot

As things stand now, there's little reason to pursue beverages, whether as a producer or consumer. It's far easier to level hot food cooking and far quicker to make high-quality affinity food which will give far more total affinity time than, say, a barrel full of beer. My suggestion is simple: separate temporary food affinities from temporary beverage affinities (meaning, for example, you can get a 10% buff to mining skill-gain from your custom affinity pizza and another 10% buff if you find a beverage that gives the same affinity, for a total of 20%). This will take beverages out of competition with pizzas, etc. – where they are hopelessly outmatched – and create a gameplay reason to make the extra effort that brewing, distilling, and so on requires.

A last attempt on something constructive in this regard. The main problem with the current goal to cast a global spell lies in the fact that all actual work being done is public domain. This causes anxiety over the availability of the cast, and resentment for not being part of it when it would have been possible, and all other sorts of conflicts. There's basically a misalignment between the idea of a "personal goal" and the work that is to be done for it. Other suggestions, including the one to allow linking to count, too (Though I still think that was a neccessary step, because even within the framework of the following suggestion it would cause conflict), are only bandaids to cater to this specific goal, but would be inconsequential to the Rites actual benefit and mechanisms. Let's identify another problem: The charging process. It's basically sermoning and praying all day long. Mostly praying. It basically demands gameplay that tethers you to an altar all day long for weeks on end - a contention that was also raised with the "70 prayer" goal. In counting the prayers and seeing when a rite was ready, I noticed that a lot came from my alts. No, this isn't a brag, but it seems as though, unsurprisingly, people don't really care to pray all day long. The charging process doesn't feel worthwhile or meaningful to engage in, even for the followers who'd benefit of this no matter who casts in the end. This is suggestion is a rehash of a previous one-off post I made back when the goal came out and everyone predicted this kerfuffle. All concrete numbers are not set in stone, so please refrain from comments like "This would be OP though, -1" or anything when another number would seem reasonable to you. Similarly, more finely detailed processes are also subject to discussion. Basically, don't make the favor pool public domain, but make "Diety Favor" a seperate character bound value. This resolves the issue of having the cast effectively taken from you, without neccessarily subtracting from it's rarity/making it more available or making piggybacking on other peoples work easier as other suggestions on their own would do. Right now, from my understanding, 1000 points have to be gathered for a Rite. Each sermon listener counts as 1 point, each prayer as 0.01 (Thus the "100k prayers"). I vaguely recall this from post from @Sindusk back in a VI thread(?), would be great to have a clarification on this. The point system could be simply maintained just like that, and a priest can store 25-30k "Diety Favor" of his own, making a cast with 4 people still possible as it is neccessary now just from the normal favor cost - but encourages linking with more priests to get it done sooner. Also a nice side effect for the goal. The rate at which these points are gained can be lowered if that would make casts available too soon. A cast would burn off all your Diety Favor though, regardless of how many points your group is over the threshold collectively. A Rite spell furthermore would have a 1 week cooldown, so that followers and priests have a chance to burn off the SB and it cannot be spammed. But won't that also cause congestion? To a degree it will, but I think that's inevitable. But in the very least, you can definitely still do it next week - and the people who just blocked you put themselves out of competition for another month or two at least, as that's how long it should take a dilligent priest to mentally prepare for the Rite. On a sidenote, the 24 hours after the cast could be exempt from the cooldown without any further effect - just like Gwyn suggested. They're not competing suggestions at all, but I think just letting the gravy train stay for another 24h is "incomplete". How will followers charge the Rites then? This is why I didn't post this back then, because I wasn't sure how to work that in. Or was too lazy. Or forgot. Meh. I think it was the middle one because I wanted to see how things pan out first. Either way, apart from being sermon listeners and thus giving points to the preacher, followers would also store points from praying like priests do. These points can be "extracted" from a priest by listening to their confession - yes, that's a mechanism that exists already, most readers are probably scratching their heads right now. It's a way of gaining alignment in your respective direction for both participants, but that's a terribly moot stat mostly. To give followers a further incentive to have their confessions taken from them, giving a certain amount of points could grant a small reward. A refresh, a temporary affinity, a gem, one of the praying buffs like "No fall damage" etc. for a significant amount of time, you name it. This would bring some communal aspect to priests who would now go around taking confessions, or have people come to them. The incentive for the priest is obviously reaping those juicy diety favor points. So there's mutual incentive to engage in this system and fosters interaction between players. This will ultimately benefit bigger communities, but even speaking as a hermit, I don't think that's a bad thing - you still have your own prayers to rely on that noone can take away. Only delay your access to the Rite, but not indefinitely, as the competition basically disabled itself. This is a sidenote and not quintessential to the suggestion, but I think it fits in here nicely. There's still the gripe with the encouraged gameplay of "being an altar boy". Or being 15 altar boys and slowly going mad from carpal tunnel. To address that, I propose that Diety Favor points are only granted for gaining faith, AKA the 5 prayers done in 20 minute intervals. Priests and followers at max faith could get more points for their "continued dedication", whereas priests get a greater bonus because they're at a whooping 100 faith instead of 30. And only premium characters ought to be able to generate these points, because obviously this would be more "alt-abusable" than the current system already is. Ideally, this system is more fun to engage with and makes alts obsolete, anyway, because spamming prayers no longer gets you there, but consistency in praying, just like meditation relies on consistency. Overall, this aims not only to make the drama around the goals less pronounced and adversarial, but also make the charging progress itself less tedious and more interesting by giving intermediate incentives and discouraging repetetive, crippling gameplay.

I have no dog in this race - I don't have a priest, and don't plan to. The question you're asking is less 'what are you doing' and more 'why aren't you telling us anything', which is kinda fair enough. I don't find this thread uncomfortable, but I also don't think it's likely to get much response from devs, beyond perhaps 'we're working on it' from everyone's favourite whipping boy PR rep. For me, I suspect this is a really hard problem to solve, without either completely devaluing the achivement or screwing it completely (possibly for one group or another), so I can see how the devs are reluctant to just go ahead and change something. Clearly, the current situation isn't good, but I can think of so many knee-jerk changes that could make it so much worse. And I am genuinely curious as to how it could be fixed, without introducing other issues or making it pointless.

How To Use The Map 1. Navigating the map You can zoom and pan (move) the map using your mouse. Zoom in and out by scrolling the mouse wheel or using the "+/-" buttons in the upper left corner. Pan the map by holding the left mouse button while moving your mouse. 2. Map coordinates The map is based on "tile coordinates". According to Wurmpedia "a tile is a 4 meter by 4 meter square on the ground, which pretty much makes up the world of Wurm". The Exodus server is a square of 2048 x 2048 tiles (corresponding to roughly 8 x 8 kilometers). On the official map dump image as provided by Code Club AB each pixel corresponds to a map tile. Map tiles are described by 2 coordinates (x, y), each counting from 0 to 2047. This coordinate system (unlike the "classical" Cartesian system) has its origin in the upper left corner: For example, the upper left corner of the map has the coordinates (0,0), the upper right corner is at (2047, 0). While you move your mouse pointer over the map the coordinates of the current map point are displayed in the sidebar (field "Current"): This is how you determine the precise coordinates for any map point you may want to work with. You can also select a point on the map (to save its coordinates) by a single left-click. A small crosshair symbol will appear and the coordinates will be shown in the field "Selected". The contents of that field can be copied to the clipboard in the usual way (by selecting and pressing Ctrl-C). Clicking on the same location again (on the crosshair symbol) will remove the marker. 3. Layers Most information on the map is provided as a layer that can be turned on and off. You see a list of available layers in the sidebar. By clicking the little checkboxes you can toggle that type of map information on and off: The letters in parentheses are the hotkeys to quickly toggle a layer: Press "D" to toggle deeds Press "H" to toggle highways Press "B" to toggle bridges Press "T" to toggle tunnels and canals Press "R" to toggle resources (clay, tar...) Press "S" to toggle special places (mission structures...) Press "G" to toggle the map grid. The "map grid" is an overlay showing grid cells that use the same notation as the in-game map. This can be very helpful when trying to describe the location of an area for another player when in-game. 4. Map types In correspondence with the various map dump types released by Code Club AB, you can choose between a pure terrain map and a topographic map: 5. Find a settlement or special place If you want to find a particular settlement or a special place, just use the Search function in the sidebar. You can either enter a name or use the drop-down list: 6. Loading the map with coordinates You can load the map by adding location coordinates to the URL (web address) like this: http://exodus.yaga.host#<x>,<y> (Replace <x> and <y> by valid location coordinates). The map will load and be centered on the given location (if the coordinates are valid). In addition, every time you select a location by left-clicking on a point on the map the URL shown in the address field will change to show the selected coordinates. Thus, you are able to share a view of a certain map area by just copying the address shown in the address field of your browser. MAP UPDATE - JANUARY 2020 When activating the coordinate grid (press "G") you can now also see the "map regions" as used in mission descriptions. There are 9 regions: northwest, north, northeast, center west, center, center east, southwest, south, southeast Map regions are shown by dashed black lines and slightly colored area overlays. Deed Info We've also added a new experimental function: we can now display special deed info when the mouse pointer hovers over a deed symbol. (This can be useful to inform about special resources, like mailboxes, Epic portals, market stalls etc.) As an example, if you mouse over Hunters Port https://exodus.yaga.host/#1161,1951 You can see that there is a POK tile and a Mailbox, but you can request any (sensible) information for your deed - please contact me (Solmark) if you would like to use this special feature for your deed!

Be it some don't have use or don't feel we need a ramp type option doesn't negate the view that some believe we do. What's the harm in having it added to the game? If you don't want it, don't use it. Simple.

Let us not forget that the ability to pray to get the sleep bonus, and characteristic gain, within 24hours for the cast was added as a band-aid to address the issue associated with the rite spells being repeatedly snipped. That band-aid only addresses the sleep bonus/characteristic gain, as they were the only benefit at that time. Now, there is the bigger benefit associated with being involved in the cast of a rite spell, as a step to completion of the Benediction Journal entry, and getting associated benefit of +5 power to spell casts.

As far as I'm concerned, this thread has already succeeded. Flubb, you've gone above and beyond what any player should have had to do in order to prove irrefutably that the current rite mechanics are anathema to open, pro-community cooperation. You single-handedly provided a large part, if not the majority, of the server favour for recent rites on Xanadu. Thanks to this thread and the efforts of your Flubbregation, the devs have now had it demonstrated to them that pre-planned open-invite organized casts are futile. I call that a job well done. None of us on the roster was ever owed anything, so in my opinion however you want to move forward is up to you. But from a practical standpoint, I no longer see any sense in pre-scheduled casts.

Not even community events you could talk about? Or stuff about interesting projects people working on? Could start talking about Wurm news instead of just developer news. Or are you saying nothing worthy of note has happened in a whole month in the game? No news is not good news. Its bad news. Nothing going on. If you can't find something to talk about in a whole month of gaming, perhaps you should either enlist some people from the community to write stuff up, or maybe become more active with the community. Some of us look forward to these VI's and seeing less of them makes us want to come back less. Creativity is the name of the game. Hell, you could start a contest or a "Fall event" to get the community invigorated!
  28. 1 point
I understand the contention with how this is being dealt with, and I'd have no problem with the cast if the caster said "I disagree with this, get on or I'll do it without you", which would at least have given the 3 people online on the roster (not counting myself) a chance to participate to at least clear some spots and is, from how the current system is setup, pretty uncontentious. They knew I was going to wait for a few more hours anyway, not to "plan around" but to wait for the people who signed up and I kinda don't want to backstab, you know? So there was no need to rush it like that. But they went completely guerilla cast on this, and it's doubtful they had 10 people in such short notice, so to call them an "equal competing group" is a stretch for me. They basically reverted to a rogue cast, a snipe, despite best intentions. Happened to me around the first time, too, not gonna lie, and there wasn't even anyone else planning to cast as far as I'm aware. But I find it safe to say they went back on their intention to make this an "organized cast" to fulfill their own needs only, and if they want to come out and say how many links they had, I will retract this conjecture. This is based on my experience with the first cast, though, so it's not without some empirical backing. You'd think one could deal with this like an adult and discuss this, but that was appearantly not an option. That's like 99% of what I found so appalling. And now people pretend like both "groups" were "basically coming from the same place". That view lacks nuance and in practice, what they did was nothing like what was planned. But even if we did try to make a "fully stocked" global cast everytime, I'm rather pessimistic about this giving everyone, in every timezone, with every possible personal life schedule, a fair shot at participating. Not with the system as it is. So the list, as petty as it seems without further introspection, is an attempt to work around the unreasonable demands of this system, not cower to it. Why is respect only owed to people online? Do they stop existing for you when they log off? Every goal has a "demand" for something, but there's absolutely no "competition" in Freedom rifts, it's quite the opposite. You're grasping at straws to make a fallacious "pro status quo" argument. Guys on Chaos and Epic can bash eachothers head in over this - quite literally. But on Freedom, there's no recourse from this other than changing the system up or invoking GM intervention, the latter of which I disagree with on grounds of inconsistency. You don't have a system that encourages bad behaviour only and punish people for indulging in it. It's not just sleep bonus that people miss out on now, like they did during Yellowfingers sniping spree, but now it's also the goal that people would need once, and when they're done, the snipers can start taking the credit and glory all over again with no real harm done. Because now there's a 24 hour window to claim the reward so in that regard, it doesn't matter who casts or when. So by that line of thinking, Gwyn's suggestion for recasting Rites makes a lot of sense to alleviate the friction points. It worked for the rewards at least.

Don't follow your reasoning. Casting the rite isn't 'doing the work'; charging the favour pool is. And that 'work' is exactly what's not being rewarded under the current system because the pool is shared and open to draining by anyone. And even if you do consider casting the rite 'doing the work', the same 'work' would have to be done by subsequent casting groups in this proposed change. So what exactly is your point?

Fixed that. Sorry, I just don't see it as a "feature." I hate it. Everyone I know hates it. At least everyone I've ever spoken to about it. Wish I could think of something positive to say about it but I just can't. I just really, really, really wish we had the old way back. The in game wiki was convenient and not so immersion breaking, and could have the little window open on my screen while crafting or whatever that looked just like the other windows. And the browser window opening is jarring to the senses with that bright white. I don't want to have to use a browser add-on just to darken the screen, or have to switch to windowed mode, or any of the other pita work arounds. Also I'm one of those people who prefers to run CC when I close my browser so it just doesn't feel comfortable to either keep the wiki open or having to keep running CC every time I want to quickly look something up on wiki, so I've just stopped using the wiki altogether while I'm playing. Like I said, just a P.I.T.A!

I don't get this "not everything has to be easy just earn it lol" fighting response. The devs force this on us as working with the community, which is exactly what has been attempted several times now and getting it sniped by others in the community. I prayed to get rite of spring done on independence, then I swapped faith to get rite of death done on independence. For the rite of death two of us even did 99% or more of the prayers required. All of my own accounts that will ever possibly get Benediction done has participated in a cast. Am I going to sit here smug faced trashing on other people that are putting in more effort than I did to organize something so the community as a whole can continually benefit? No, I'm going to use my experience to say that the current system is absolute trash and does not encourage the community working together and in fact actively prevents it.
  36. 1 point
If you are actively praying, (you, not a robot) then you know the second the global spell is castable, if you are paying attention. If it pops while you're asleep, then someone else that is also doing (hard) work will be rewarded. The gods do not simply gain favor for nothing while you sleep..... someone else is actively praying too. Reflection? Okay, I'll bite. What would you like me to reflect on.... my stance that one of the most grindy games on the internet SHOULD be difficult? You'll want to start another thread because I don't want to de-rail the this one any worse than you are already trying to. Or would you like me to reflect on my experience casting global spells? Or did you mean recently with the Benediction changes? I didn't have to ask, beg, negotiate or otherwise "work with others" to get the goal done. I picked a random server, sailed, prayed my butt off and popped Holy Crop on Independence. I did it again about 3 weeks later on Pristine with Rite of Spring for my Vynora priest. You should be able to do the same. But since I'm nice, despite your argument to the contrary.... I'll give you a small piece of advice..... go someplace other than Xanadu to do your global cast and you'll have a much greater chance of success! Chances are the three people living on Release all have something better to do than spend all day praying.

Calling for punishment is only fueling the divisive fires. As much shade as I throw myself, I can't bring myself to want to see such punitive, counterproductive measures be put in place - not when it punishes behaviour encouraged by a bad system. Yes, I think today's cast was selfish and the lack of attempt on cooperation was appalling. But I'd be a hypocrite to not acknowledge the anxiety and bad decisions that can come with the current mechanisms. Perhaps it was entirely in bad faith, perhaps this anxiety played a factor...but going forward, calling for the heads of other players rather than a change that will make cooperation an actual "down to earth" option and not a virtuous endeavor is ultimately destructive. Especially to the already small playerbase.

As an uninvolved third-party, the audacity of this request is positively hilarious to me.

Evzen is a very good worker, helped me a lot in the past and is very efficient at what he does, great help! Wholeheartedly recommending him!

It is to some extend, but factoring in personal contribution to charging the goal would alleviate this a lot, and the idea I had proposed for that is rather simple and straightforward. But as Gwyn said - not a suggestion thread. It is also not hard to remove or change up the journal goal to something that cannot be effectively stolen from you. I do like the idea of an incentive to do these casts regularly though, and more often, because it benefits all followers greatly. It's a shame though that this incentive is hamfisted into a rat race goal with charging mechanics that degrade Wurm even more into a button clicking simulator than it already is.

Because what you want just gives the players more fuel to hate on each other with. The comunity doesnt need more division plenty already exists and things like this goal show a disconnect with reality.

Just fix the journal to not expect the community to work together, it doesn't work I don't know why they think anything is different from before.

Useful how? so you can be passive aggressive to them over supposed ownership of a cast or something?

And/or add a new stair type, ramps!

Wurm needs a fresh start, otherwise it slowly dies with people who pretend they care about the game. I really don't buy into this idea, that just because you've played this game for so many years, and call yourself a "veteran player", that you actually have the success & future of this game in mind. Nobody is bigger then this game, it doesn't matter how much you paid for your account or how hard you grinded... Its the sort of over justification that kills games. Imagine being a brand new player to this game and knowing how much investment it would take to be where most of us are now... would you bother?

May you finally not have any more pain and ailments that troubled you for so long Eir! Eir was one of the two main GM's that taught me how to GM here in Wurm. Eir is a big and historical name here. I kept up with her situation regularly and kept in contact with her. When we learned what was happening, Shrimpiie was able to go visit her and give her well wishes from us just a couple days ago. This is very sad news. Thank you for informing us here Dizbot.

I blame a lack of coffee! You're right. It's linkers * 3, along with a few other bits. Disregard my caffeine-starved former post.
