    I have noticed we can dye saddles but the colour does not appear when worn by the animal, would be a nice feature if this could be implemented.

    The sell of kingdom banners are used to fund deed upkeeps and other pvp related expenses. Buying designs from a kingdom that is not disbanded comes with the understanding that Saroman may approve changes to the desgins at a later time. Kingdoms cant be expected to shell out a countless amount of silver back to the players who purchase pmk products and are later dissatisfied by the change. There is a reason why dead pmk decorations are much more expensive. If you are dissatisfied by the kingdom design change, you are welcome to recover your money by selling the item forward. Understand pmks are not a business and they don't hold countless money in escrow to guarantee purchases or issue refunds. It is very likely that to refund you, kingdom leaders would have to dig into their personal wallets to pay you back. That's unreasonable. We are all players just like you.

    I understand that completely which is why I was polite enough to ask if they would consider it and the only reason I asked is coz it happened recently. If they said no I would have made my peace with it and tried to sell it off via trade chat. If you don't ask you won't know, and I am glad I asked coz someone did reach out to me and offered to take the tent from me for the original price that I paid. Whether it was someone from WU I don't know but I am grateful for whoever it was Wurm has a mostly respectful community and with the service I received from WU I find them respectful as well. You have my thanks for being really cool guys WU !!!

    The current Elevation map on Epic is based around several islands surrounding a central island known to most people as the HoTA island. It's very flat and very empty except for the central island which has gotten most of the attention due to the importance of HoTA. If there was to be a new Elevation map, I'd also like to see the map reduced. Currently, a playerbase similar to Chaos' (at least according to /who statistics and such) is spread across several servers. If we make all the servers 4km x 4km, we will have a cluster about the size of Chaos which would be much more appropriate with the current playerbase on Epic. I really enjoy playing on Epic, even though we are a rather limited number of players. A smaller, new Elevation map would make it more enjoyable to actually play on the central server, instead of spending an hour just to get to where your enemies are holed up.

    I would like to inquire if you guys do refunds? I purchased a tent from you guys for 5s a few weeks ago, 3rd of January to be exact after seeing your design at a public event I absolutely fell in love with your template. Now the new texture is out and I am really disappointed. The once best-looking tent in wurm now all of a sudden looks like something that would be included in a demo game. (No offense to anyone here, It's just not as cool as the old one.) Would you reimburse an unhappy disappointed customer as I feel if I knew about the new look and saw it before it was released I would not even once have considered buying it?

    Only reinforcements within someone else's perimeter are safe from people throwing money at them. Otherwise you can just drop a small deed temporarily and remove the reinforcements in your way. This is way cheaper than buying the proposed item in most cases because you can remove as many as you want on your new deed. As far as disintegrate casting goes, its a very small chance for success and can take several 100k favor if the RNG gods prefer it that way. No way is it a reliable way to terraform on freedom.

    Just bouncing off the Immortals Hunt idea, I have something similar I've had on my WU server for a few years now that might fit the sort of thing you're bringing up. Basic idea is at some interval, an event spawns at a random spot on the map and gives an approximate location in quadrants of the map. Players then go out to hunt for that event, defeat the creatures spawned there, then claim the reward (via something like a capture timer). So instead of 4+ points that kingdoms capture, and rotate around to recapture etc, it is a single point that presumably everyone would be fighting over. On paper this sounds like it might cause people to be roaming out in those quadrants looking for the event (and then possibly larger battles to control that area and kill the creatures), but would that actually happen? Or with it being a single point would other kingdoms just not bother once they learned that it had been found? Back on the current camp idea and the cap of 10, keep in mind that with the once a day spawning of the camps this is a longer term game than the current HotA. Two large kingdoms might capture 3 each waiting for the 4th to spawn, but then they have to each defend all of those points randomly across the map for 3+ days. I think having the option there for smaller kingdoms to hold points or back cap them as larger kingdoms make a push for one well out of their territory might make for some more interesting scenarios. That said, if its put in place and the first couple of wins are clearly just two kingdoms ignoring each other and capping their own, we can drop it down to a max of 6 or 7 to push more forcing capping of defended ones.

    having issues with music frequency and levels, like tracks overlapping each other and randomly super loud music even tho its set to lowest possible if we could fix/improve this, that would be great and uberly appreciated. thank you

    Update Buyer Merchant download Delivery Contracts download Made contracts compatible with buyers. If all of the items in the delivery note meet the requirements then they can now be accepted by buyers. Both mods need to be updated for it to work. Also, as I was going through I noticed a possible exploit. Minimum purchase items could be accepted even if they were underweight, which I assume is not the expected behaviour (you want 100 rock shards not 100 0.01kg rock shards). So I have now changed it so that any items that are not full weight are not accepted to fulfil a minimum purchase. Normal buying will still correctly scale the price based on the weight. You're quite welcome.

    For the record pmks are the ones that control their graphics. They are able to update them as they see fit depending our approval, but when you purchase a pmk item for its design please be aware the pmk may change it.

    Hi there, i'm coming back around 2am GMT this Sunday Some help is welcome but its not required, but yeah got few k's rock tiles for surface mining under my road, so can cover skiller pick if you really want, got some digging too as need to remove more dirt before surface mining, and got a lake if you want to fish or got quite big tree farms around if you want to do some forestry, or can find more mats for whatever you want...but priest should pray Well who like who, but you know very well where we are located:D

    I've seen this from many different perspectives, though I've never seen my enemies deeds during a full PvP ban so you're +1 from me there. When I thought about it more, yes this would probably happen and that's something I didn't intend, it could however be solved by putting in a timer until won. Kingdom 1 Conquering for 10 min it then starts a 1 hour timer until it's won by the holding kingdom. If it's conquered by Kingdom 2 the countdown resets creating another hour

    I tried it around for a bit, and even on the horses supplied and the terrain on Baphomet, and found it annoyingly difficult to find just a single battle camp. I think something similar to what Sn00 is suggesting would be better. The problem with that is that it's a race to get there first. I suggest that there should just be one outpost - one point of contention. Not only should it take some time to defeat any mobs/guards there, but you need to hold the outpost for x amount of time in order to win. This should give any opposition time to recapture it - the captors have to defend it from any potential opposition. This means people know where to find PvP (but it's a different place everytime) and you can do some interesting tactics with hiding around and so on. So again summarizing: Hunt of the Immortals, but when you "win" it, you still need to hold on to it for a bit and defend it from potential enemies before you win the "scenario".

    I do believe that there should be some essence of forced combat with the HOTA, that much I agree with you on, and it would be nice to get valrei creatures back. However, the spawning mechanics in this game are complete garbage, and thusly anything that relies on them will inherently be broken as well. Also, this seems way too easy in comparison to the current HOTA, and aside from the actual cap timer there is hardly any room for another kingdom to contest with you, especially if you find it first. This would be another tower-conq-nerf situation where now the only time an action will actually be contested by another kingdom is out of sheer stupidity or a rash and impulsive decision. Overall -1, this does nothing to address the actual problems that plague HOTA and unlike the newly proposed concept, this version actually reintroduces some of the old problems the current system has. Seems to me like a suggestion based off of the dominant perspective only, and not wanting to lift a finger off the chair, which gee look who it's coming from. Go figure right?

    LumpyGravy was there opening day of the server (he later sold his entire place to Factional Fight, who renamed it to Autumn Twilight; I forget what Lumpy's place was originally called ...) I was right south of Lumpy & Factional Fight, my old place was Seahorse Bay or Cove or something like that, also deeded right at the start of Deliverance. I was bordered what was then the edge of the steppe and near the spit of land running out to the clay, which was built by Schiann, for her son who had a place nearby also for a brief time. I am pretty sure there were a lot of other places there after us too, but those were the "Opening Day Deeds" for that exact spot.

    If I were forum admin (be glad I am not ) I would have long closed every "Sindusk" discussion. They did no good neither to Sindusk himself, the Dev Team, or the playerhood. So damn stop it. As to a WU PvP server, I beg to reconsider. Years ago I was in professional contact with colleagues in network and server farm administration, and 2nd/3rd level support, managing the servers of a large mainstream MMORPG (does not matter which, but it was one of the very large ones) having PvE and PvP players like the most. They told me that about two third of development and maintenance efforts, and 90% of the GM and CS work, mainly in conflict regulation, went into PvP related topics, while less than 10% of the paying customers were indeed practising PvP. That said (and not meant to blame or taint PvP players as I consider such natural given the competitive nature of PvP using all allowed means to win over) I merely doubt that a single person would be able to successfully run a PvP server, neither on WU nor elsewhere. If you truly want to ruin Sindusk's health and creativity, it would be the right way to push him into such an adventure. I trust he is mature enough to know that himself.

    -1, I'd rather see erosion of untouched landscapes. Unfortunately afaik Sindusk was the only one with any interest in this matter (Or the only one to openly express it.), so I doubt well see anything like it soon. Here was an example he posted.

    id still like carriages where it uses the highway system and you can pay for the ride somewhere. It would be ideal that you do not even have to stay logged in, but it will take time just like wagoneers.

    I'm going to - 1. You can make back the point with work but the benefit should match that of the punishment. This punishment is fine and the reward is great. If I had my way we'd be back to perms death champs.

    The fastest way to burn out in WO is to try to make premium by selling stuff rather than just paying some cash. Especially for new players. 2 months premium (€16) gives you 2 sleep powders, which can be sold for around 2s. That's just about enough to run a small deed for those 2 months. Coupled with the odd rare coin (foraging, killing stuff, etc) and occasional windfall (attend a rare slaying, sell blood/scale), you should be able to fund your basic requirements in-game without having to buy silver or grind stuff you don't want to. Once your skills improve, and you have a better idea of what you enjoy doing more, you can sell the odd item or service to add to your cash flow, allowing for bigger deeds, etc. Sometimes you'll manage a major windfall, and be able to pay a month or 2 premium as a bonus, or buy something expensive. Alternately, if you want everything end-game right now, you can sink a load of cash in on day 1 and go from there. Nobody is forced to do that, but you have the option. Personally, I love that I can let my premium lapse for a break, and my character is ready and waiting to be reactivated when I want to come back. My deeds have always been fairly small, so keeping upkeep around 6 months or so is easy, and ensures I'll have a home to come back to as well. Different on pvp, of course, but pvp has other issues.

    i dont say i hate, but dislike some features in the game. 1st, this is not EvE, stop buying skills (accounts) mass producing crap just to cash out once u made your 200-500% profit. yes we all would like free money from a game to pay for dinner, a movie, date night, bills, or even another hobby... i had my fun in calypso then realized its a game, not a investment with small outcomes. why would you not want to help a game by buying subs and silver on the shop page. its annoying to hear some say they got this account or stayed home all month to grind a skill and can now pay for there sub, priest sub, alt sub, there deeds and have some left over to pay for there cell phone bill....... speaking of, why can people buy and sell silver for 1 euro but the website says it 1.3-5 euro. i want to support the game and buy silver at a reasonable price off the shop, not support someones pocket. 2nd, during warm weather days i play for maby a hour if i even get to play due to work meaning over the years i am still considered a noob, if i want to pay for my deed, do i spend 2 weeks making crates and 5k bricks or enjoy the game and the grind. soo new players going wow, a whole universe based on all players. maby i will build some things and hope to sell it, so they get bored of the repetitive newbie grind for silver rather than build and explore and enjoy the land. when they ask for some help they are told to buy this and that if they choose to be faster and to sell items that are already under priced and overstocked the market. its hard to have a players market when the 5-10 year accounts keep switching hands to keep the market flooded with skillers and high end items. least when a new player comes sailing past i usally offer some basic things. might not have casts on it but still. 3rd, wagoneers, i can see it being good for xan but other than that no... what happened to preparing your cargo, getting the maps out, reading the wind and heading out to see the terrain along with other players and there projects. the "plot course" is nice tho, going from pri to exo without planning a whole days voyage is nice. 4th, and final... fighting... [combat flashed]....w.... ..left... ..... w..... w......head...... a.......center... Aged spider is dead, r.i.p. that was a awesome battle, i like how you just stood there and stared at it making sure you was within range... least runescape i can select attacks and interact with fighting. {{edit}} goes along with i must be 70 fighting to do any event... took me 2 years to due {{edit}} i still love this game and will probly play till server shutdown but still... the community is pretty good except for some of the elitist who think its there job to do everything like missions, slay private dragons, and keep market stocked) the impalongs and micro games i really enjoy. nothing that i encountered had a player-base like this one let alone this kind of sandbox feal. i will probly take week breaks from time to time but i can never let this game go, its awsome.

    That's why we should have an official YouTube video to show how to play as part of the in game tutorial. Other games been doing this for couple years too. Don't know if we already have this though. Haven't created new character in awhile. Before you do the actual tutorial have some links to videos so people don't quit before the end.

    Aww! That just warms the old heart it does. That's the video where I go searching for animals to hunt and find literally nothing (well except for the one mountain lion) - thankfully Xanadu's animal spawn has been fixed since then haha. And very glad to hear that you gave Wurm another chance. Once you cross that certain threshold, you fall hard for this game. My 5-year anniversary playing Wurm is coming up on Friday and I'll be streaming at that point in case you're interested!

    This is something I'd love to see in the game. I've been semi-retired from Wurm for ages now, I still play every so often on some WU servers but that's it. I always get my NS skill up because I like to make dyes, but alchemy isn't really used for much right? This sounds like it'd be a big overhaul though. Imagine being able to make HP pots, slow fall, damage resistance, water breathing/walking etc. ( https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Potions ) I think this is more suited for WU just because of balancing issues, it'd take an insane amount of testing to be in WO. @Sindusk pls. I'll pet you even.

    Instruments so you can have a skill to make instruments and if you fail you get a failed <Instrument> that you can play but that´ ll sound bad( like...distorting the sound or setting it one row higher/deeper) Instruments could be like recorder , violin , trumpet , and all the other instruments that were popular in the medieval times so that there could be groups of people playing an instrument and playing it on Partys and they take money for their gigs(like max. 5 S)and if the game ages there can be new instruments like maybe a keyboard.Maybe you could do something like a book where you can write your pieces down and then replay it reading the notes. It would be an interesting skill and I think if that´d be added into the game there will be lots of people trying to play songs from other games which could end up on YouTube which advertises the game

    Even though I've known this might come for several months things escalated so quickly in the end and left me shocked and very sad. I am grateful that we had time to discuss the statue design before things got too bad to log on to chat. Tich you were fun, quick witted, always helpful and benevolent when things were confused and stressed out and you managed to touch many of our hearts both personally and with all these ingame features you implemented. I miss you a lot. See you again when we are thrown back into the light, Tich!

    No offense taken. I don't know why it grabs my eye the way it does. I just wind up staring at it like it's the only thing on the screen. Drives me nuts. Giant herd of hell horses out my window before they lowered the volume on them? Still logged in. Five-year-old neighbors fascinated with the fart emote before we could mute emotes? Still logged in. Crooked house because I forgot to level before building that makes me sea sick? Totally lived in it. Little neon green lights every tile for miles on end? ??? Go figure.

    A lot of great memories from WO, and having a great time in WU, so can't say I hate Wurm by any stretch. It's taken a rightful position in my mind with games like Jumpgate, SWG, early WoW... gaming experiences that were just that awesome in their time. Nature of the beast that things will change though. I stopped logging in to WO because the neon green from the catseyes is just completely immersion breaking for me. It's not something that I can choose not to participate in or use. It's everywhere and simply can't be avoided. Luckily for me, there are servers in WU that somehow have managed to avoid the implementation of catseyes, and that works very well for me. Unless a more muted, less obtrusive color is someday chosen, one more stylistically representative of my overall vision of Wurm, I simply can't play WO. I really can't express how thankful I am that Rolf chose to release WU. Gaming with my brother has been a highlight since playing Microsoft Olympic Decathlon a few decades ago. Thanks to WU and the wonderful communities that have burgeoned thanks to generous admins who devote their money, energy and time, I can continue to enjoy that.
