If you want to get peak of Dragon Fang or get achievements ('Mountain Goat' and 'On the Way to the Moon'), or just for your own satisfaction and wunderfull view, you can use new western mountain trail. We give (me and my friend Teeebomb) you for public using mountain hut, where you can use fsb, larder, oven and bed, all for free (if you want to repay you, thank you in advance), leave safely your vehicle or horse. The first part of the trail leads through the forest. That part is paved by gravel. After that is first safe spot is a cave. After that u can climb using fence ladder to second cave safe spot. Dont use fence above second cave! From the second cave you will need sandwiches and/or wine. To get to the public mountain hut you need to use Green Ring Express tunnel. Hat is on a left from exit. To commemorate you can bet gravestone. There are already two. The mailbox is w/o spell, so if someone wants to activate it, it will be an additional convenience for others absentminded Dragonfangers. Considering all the hate the Epic Cluster seems to receive, and people demanding that the cluster have something unique to it, which we are well past the mechanics of uniqueness (everyone now can get tomes, moonmetal, and the lot.) Why do we not just make it unique by making it simple? Why not just take what the game used to be, no moonmetal, tomes, valeri, default gods, etc. (meditation?) Make that the new server with the current armor changes, and balances people like of which can be picked and chosen. The goal being a more vanilla style of game play. This should appease everyone, a fresh map, fresh game, mixed with a refreshing change to what is considered the "end game" content. Add friend ( which used to be sight only) but now at unlimited server range I suggest the following A COMMAND TO SEE WHATS IN MY BANK BALANCE. A simple /bank /money /yourbrokedontdoit /allyourmoneyisbelongtoMEH. I dont think this would break immerison.. I've noticed that even though there are some well-known high level blacksmiths and weaponsmiths on Freedom, very few 95+ ever advertise in-game. When a friend of mine does, he gets work instantly. And the few I talk to on a regular basis always seem to have a backlog of work to do. So that's my answer. Edited to clarify Freedom.

My boyfriend got it to work tonight and he did this: he changed so that the Nvidia graphics card was used instead of the intel and then we used another browser to download the game from. Now it works as smooth as anything \o/

If you type Free Sandbox MMO WURM IS IN RIGHT THERE, first link (hope you use google). Press the second list, WURM IS RIGHT THERE. So many games out there aren't that fortunate to be in the first 2 links. If you are looking for an mmo sandbox you will find wurm. Obviously they don't like it. Now all they need to do is pop 2 silver off the ground and get some premium to get the skill to ride a cart/horse and load cargo forever. After that month, pop 10 silver or pay real money. Can you take a guess what the issue is?

Plus there should be overlook 5000 L winemaking. Its not fun to collect nearly 10.000 grapes plus the maple sap. Got some friends into Wurm Online this past week, and Enki dropped by to help one with a support ticket; left a good impression!

This is still on the list and not fixed yet. With tents, it's a good idea to unlock them when crossing servers, then relock them when you arrive. A pain, but it stops the bad messages and inability to use the tent on the destination server.

Please for goodness sake add roses to the rose hedge. What is the point if not to have roses. No big deal to change the textures for the flowering hedges. They all look a bit different anyway. Also while you are at it can you make flower pots and planters look more "FULL" of flowers. Can barely see them. We that use them want color .

Love the idea. also need some smaller fence types. The spiral staircase has an odd tile usage.

As most of us know, Xanadu was supposedly created using a random map generation technique not previously used on other Wurm servers. While the merits and results of this approach are debatable, it's important that we predicate any debate on valid premises and acquire as much knowledge about the topic as is reasonably possible. For example, were the Wurm Online developers entirely truthful about this? Could such a sprawling, diverse, interestingly detailed landmass have arisen simply from random heightmap generation? We need, and deserve, to know more. To that end, through painstaking analysis of the map dumps released in December 2017, I believe I have determined the exact methodology used to produce the Xanadu terrain heightmap. Due to image-heavy content, the rest of this post is behind a spoiler tag.

Wow, you chaos kids just don't give up. Why not just go play the game instead of trying to delete a server cluster and have less players in wurm overall? Absolutely no to deleting Epic. The better option would be to delete Chaos and have PvE and PvPvE completely separate. That way the people on freedom can transfer to PvPvE. @mclavin Your numbers are way off bro. I have more people than that, interested in epic, in my village alone. They just cant dedicate themselves to play 24/7 like you do. Only a few people are creating alts to try to get a good set of goals and work with that. Worst case, let's close this thread. Announce the armor updates for Chaos to the whiners and lets move on with our lives. If you want to save the game then come up with some marketing ideas that can be utilized in a cost effective manner and then suggest it to them. That is the best way to bring more people to Wurm Online.

Thanks, Sindusk! Now I can hate RNG in detail. :) Seriously, I'd like to see the RNG generally tightened, to produce fewer outliers (and in some cases, removed outright, such as creation/imping failure).

I mean, you have to understand that the entire pvp community, the most veteran players are very vocal about this. They have been playing this game for very long and have seen changes come in for the past decade. I'm sorry, but the pvp in this game is destroyed by power creep. It's not because people are "bored" but because there is such a huge difference between the haves and have nots. The have nots get stomped until they quit and the haves keep playing until they run out of people to kill. The higher you set the gear and required stat ceiling the more this divide grows... and EVERY TIME!! Whether its the challenge server, the epic server... people FLOOD back to the game to experience the pvp before it becomes a game of "who has time to grind 16 hours a day and who can only grind 3-4 a day" and the latter part tends to quit because theyre so massively out-powered. Moon metals, meditation, hell horses, functionality of rares on boats... these things have only made it harder to become a pvper. There is noone who has pvped consistently who will say that this is not the case. It feels like content for the sake of content with wanton disregard for the impact it has had. I miss the days where the biggest problems the pvp scene faced were farwalker ammys and GM decisions, the game doesn't draw its fun and uniqueness from the insane amount of ways you can power up your toon, it makes its mark from the insane way you can conquer and wage war with your enemies and affect the lands and kingdoms that occupy it, until such a time as one kingdom has become such a strong position of "haves" and all the "have nots" refuse to play, where at that point it should likely be reset. It has always been that way. I don't think the Dev team has ever intrinsically understood this point, for many years it seems as though the dev team has a very hardcore skew towards their understanding of freedom and lack of understanding of pvp. Either way, pvp seasons would be better than this...

I read a thread called "Animal Crates ETA???" and devs jump in to give them an update on a feature that they aren't even near to finishing. If it was chaos only and not put to freedom, you'd see a influx of purchases of different armor types and a rebirth of services. PVPERS are lazy. If you made it server wide, then everybody would benefit and they would also see a influx of trade of certain armors. You claim you're not about the market, you don't care if an update hurts prices, but with the response you clear do. explain why freedom can't have armor changes?? Hi, Was this mod ever created? If so I'd love a copy of it.

A long time ago, 4 or 5 player god ascensions, I made a post basically stating that player gods should never have been full gods. They should have been placed on the Val map as ascended mortals, if they survived they should have ascended as demi-gods and granted 2 or 3 spells. Lore Priests could then pick one or two of these Player demi-gods to worship along with one of the lore gods. The priests can in this way round out their spell list, the main priests of the lore gods wouldn't be eclipsed by the new RNG created god spell lists, you wouldn't have the domain issues you have now. The Lore would still be intact as to the reasons the gods and their faithful fight. At this point, I don't know if anyone even reads the lore or if the lore is even still available to be read. It probably doesn't even matter anymore. I really can't wait to see how the devs are going to balance all of these gods, and then keep them balanced as new gods are added. For myself I believe that the Devs have heroically set before themselves tasks which are "Sisyphean" in nature. I wish them all the best, as the World of Wurm rests on the shoulders of these Atlas Devs.

This is a good point. "Rebalancing" can mean shuffling around spells to make most gods marginally useful, or "balanced". This would be an atrocity in and of itself. No one wants a priest than can marginally enchant a weapon, and marginally be good on pvp. People who want pvp want a priest that is good at PVP, and people who want to enchant want a priest who is good at enchanting. Numbing down the "good" priest classes into a bunch of mediocre ones would be a travesty, and would thus render all priests useless. I for one would find it abhorent to have a priest that is only slightly better than a regular character at pvp, especially with all the drawbacks priests get. For example, having a priest who can only oakshell, but can also put WoA on a weapon would be worthless for a fighter. Same as a priest who can cast only CoC and also has a 20% damage increase would be worthless to an enchanter. One way to "rebalance" the gods is making more spells available to each of them. For example, instead of taking CoC from Vynora and giving her Oakshell, it would be better to just give Vynora Oakshell. This will give said Vynora priest a chance to be able to participate better at PVP, while at the same time remaining an enchanting powerhouse. Other methods of rebalancing could include removing non enchanter spells from enchanter priests and giving them something more akin to their profession, and thus enhancing their use in a better way. Reclassifying Gods is also a good way to go about this. Take for example Nathan. Its an almost good balance between an enchanter and a pvp character, but it really fails miserably at both. It can't be a reliable healer (No Heal or Light of Fo spell, only a targetted cure which will only get you killed in combat with how complicated it is to cast) has no oakshell, which is an excellent survival spell for a priest, given priests get penalties for wearing armor (and frankly, pvping in cloth will just get you slaughtered), but it has willowspine and the mag damage bonus. It is also the only other priest who has CoC and Frostbrand, but no WoA and no Nimbleness. It can't properly enchant neither weapons nor tools, which makes it a second rate enchanter at best. These problems can be adressed by reclassifying the priest as an either combat or an enchanting priest, thus putting more of one type of spells (and skills) while removing others. Rebalancing the priest would require more effort as new classifications would need to be created, and its spells modified to fit. Examples would be: Warrior Priest, Evoker, Naturist, Enchanter, Necromancer, Elementalist, etc. This system gives a more clear option, and those entering into this type of priesthood would know exactly what they would be walking into, and what to expect and specialize in. There are many more ways to go about it, but simply reshuffling all the spells to making all priests the same will just be a poor choice, and would pretty much be the nail that seals the coffing on our only other class.

I waited, didn't see anyone call him on it, and I did. Not apologizing for that, and I'd do it again. As to the actual problem, it's obvious that batteries suck. I'm grinding an alt to be a priest, and it's fun because it's a completely different way to approach the game. The thought of repeating that work on another character, however, simply to be able to cast one or two powerful spells, sucks. (Oh, and I get to pay for that privilege. ) Now, I don't believe the developers are deliberately abusing that system to get income. Spells like LT are clearly powerful and should be more difficult than normal to cast, and here's how I would solve that: tie the ability to cast those spells to a skill other than channeling, such that you need, simply for example, a high level in Alchemy plus a high level in Channeling to do high QL casts of LT/MS/etc. That way you have to grind something else to cast those, but it isn't repetitive; it's different. (And that also frees up an alt slot for another priest type, if you want, and I suspect a lot of folks would do that.) While I'm making suggestions, I'd also love to see Alchemy include a new skill: Coatings. These would allow players to mix animal and herbal ingredients (much like the cooking system) to create blade or armor coatings to provide temporary enchantment effects. These would always be weaker than priest counterparts, and might also increase damage to equipment, but they would allow new players to try out certain spell effects easily (say, LT40 for 30min at a decent Coating skill). This would also narrow the PvP gap, while not making priests useless. (Maybe remove shattering to compensate priests... )

XIII: If some people want a QoL improvement and I don't, they shouldn't be allowed to interfere with my gameplay. XIV: If something interferes with people's gameplay but not mine, they should not get a client-side option to fix it.
