    I normally fill a container with meats of a certain volume to get a specific kg of liquid as well, using multiple cups is annoying. This suggestion.... makes the container hold more than 10kg right? Why not ask to have a calibrate option where people can choose the size they want. If they are making a certain recipe a bunch of times and they want the perfect weight, there can be a pop-up so you can choose 3249g instead of putting meat inside and settling for something like 3200g.

    They just need to allow us to cross as we please from both epic and freedom, reinvent epic as the go-to pvp cluster and have the freedomers able to have all the mechanics they want without effecting pvp.The biggest thing is the barrier, when you make a new char, you get confronted with the choice, Epic or Freedom? Where do you invest your time? History says epic is and even if it picks up could be again a dead cluster, chaos isn't that much better.So many people from Freedom would like to cross and pvp then return to their simple freedom lives, many people on epic want a break from the constant dangers and make a deed in peace on freedom, why keep us separated?Let's be clear, valrei changes will do nothing for chaos, these are Epic based updates, so we're basically blocking out the freedom pvp side - for no reason.Wurm staff are clear that they understand the grind is long and it takes to long to get into pvp - Why are we asking both Epic or Freedom, to play a different cluster you need to do that grind again?This would pretty much stop any cluster / account being 'dead' as you'd always have a choice to play among a community, not a 3 person populated server.So when we speak of advertisement, which cluster/server are we advertising? Freedom? Chaos? Epic? Surely you need to spend atleast 2x the amount because if you want people to come Epic, you need Epic specific advertisement and if you want people to go Chaos/Freedom, you need to be clear on that aswell. You can't have same advertisement, because if all your new players come in and nobody chooses epic, all your work and updates were for nothing. Again, remove the barrier, let people cross how they please.You're essentially splitting the player base into 2 communities even tho there are calls to have us joined.No items will cross, just silver as it is already - skills will transfer.For people with skills on both sides, it will take the highest skill and make it so for both, simple.

    the problem is that aside from skills, you got accounts on different med paths, different priests, different tome use on each cluster, thats not the easy part to fix so it depends how deep it really goes if skills were merged minus faith/alignment, then it could work for as long as we have separate clusters if tomes were not merged then it could work for separate clusters again except im sure most that have won/purchased/etc tomes on either cluster would like to use them on the other if med paths were not merged it well, wont really work because if you got 70 on epic and merge skills to freedom you'll still have to wait half a year to advance it's not very simple thats why i feel like i posted previously, have it an optional choice to merge all of this so those unaffected negatively by any merging can freely do it and those that will get affected negatively can made an educated decision on what to do, at least until a better option arrives. importantly, if something like this happened, then all new accounts should automatically be pre-merged to prevent any future issues and limit it to the few there may be edit: just also forgot to add that can probably have a choice of partial merge, merge skills / med / faith / tome / anything else and have it all options to do one, some, or all, then at least can merge skills even if affected poorly if merging med path etc

    Both myself and someone else in my alliance are experienceing this same problem with crop sprites not loading correctly. Upon entering a field area I see only very faint crop sprites. Once I farm a tile the sprites, in a surrounding area of approximately 5 tiles, render correctly but the remaining crops are still fainter than they should be. This is a problem that I have only noticed since at the weekend I had to replace my GPU. Going from a GTX 680 to a GTX 1050 Ti. We're both running the same 385.41 drivers and both cards are Gigabyte. His is a GTX 1070 G1 Gaming card. On my old card with older drivers, this was never an issue. Any help with this would be appreciated.

    I would like to suggest a change to measuring cups. instead of the current adjustable cup that we have. which could be adjusted to the following measures 1g, 2g, 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g, 100g, 200g, 500g, 1kg, 2kg, 5kg, 10kg Could it be changed to a series of cups? where you open the measuring cups, and have a series of 13 cups one of each size. This way you can pick up 500g and then fill the 20g and a 10g cups from the 500g cup to get 470g for a recipe?

    I'm facing the same issue on Linux with an AMD graphics card. So its probably not a driver issue.

    Might be because of the 385.41 drivers as Brash mentioned here, or it could be completely unrelated.

    The issue is with how the game code dictates the ownership of an item. An item can only be renamed if you are its "owner" and in this case the code considers the owner to be the last person to have it in inventory (unloading from a vehicle does this too). When you create an item the code was designed to make sure to make it owned by you without needing to be picked up, but that code was written without this rather new idea of creating things that have internal shelves/storage in mind. So when you create these items the outer shell is owned by you but the shelves have no owner until picked up.

    I suggest a much more simple setup. Right click measuring cup. Window pops up. You type in precise measurement you want. (example: 4.27) You click the set button. Done. No multiple cups, no having to adjust the cup for every measurement, you can rename the cup and have multiple cups if you wish for specific recipes.

    a vote is a great idea. It's my intention to finish revamping Trinsic then doing a presentation video/gallery and asking the community if they think i should host an Impalong. You'd then vote or +1 or like. no idea, But it would be an entry that requires some kind of voting. Location Presentations - community votes on one. Makes perfect sense.

    I kinda like this. Playing a WU server where this is the case (althought instead of portal you can sail over). I like for easier "kinda" grind on the Pvp server but still having a PvE server which does not have a curve for backup. I personally think that having 2 different pvp maps is too much also so should delete both and transfer the skills to freedom, make 1 map (exodus size map, maybe Deli size) and put a portal where you can go back and forth.

    Simple idea, possibly easy to implement: 1. Right-clicking directly on waterskin brings up 'drink' option which is applied to contents, i.e. no need to expand water skin and then click on whatever is inside. 2. Provide keybind for 'drink'. Benefits: 1. Allows waterskins to be added to toolbelt for rapid quaffing. (Of course water/other liquids can be added as well, but every time they are consumed they have to be re-added. Not so if it is the waterskin itself in the toolbelt.) 2. Creates incentive to actually use waterskins versus pottery jars etc. Waterskins should be better at what they're designed for – providing easy access to liquid refreshment. (Related idea: Any fall that would injure a character risks breaking any pottery items in inventory. The risk is directly proportional to the severity of the fall and inversely proportional to the quality of the pottery item.)

    Many highway tile corners at intersections have pointing signs at the tile corner. Trouble is that waystones have the same height as pointing signs making reading the waystone difficult to read. Please make the waystone a little taller so that pointing signs and waystones can both be read.

    Update patch for 9/12/2017: Treasure Maps Added Ulviirala's Treasure Map mod. You can obtain treasure maps through hunting, fishing, mining, and digging. These will all have random chances of rewarding you with a treasure map. I will also put some up for sale in a merchant at Holdstrong. When you find a treasure map, you will need a compass to begin. Activate your compass, then right-click the treasure map to read the map. It will give you a hint of where to find the treasure. After you've found the location of the treasure, you will need to activate a shovel (if on dirt/grass) or pickaxe (if on rock/cliff) and right-click the treasure map to begin revealing the treasure. Upon revealing the treasure, enemies will spawn and attack. You can either fight off the enemies or take the treasure and leave. Important: Some treasure chests may be locked. You may require lockpicks to open the treasure after you uncover it. Bag of Holding Added Bag of Holding, a new spell available to every type of priest. This spell allows you to expand the storage of many items in the game, such as boats, forges, backpacks, frying pans... essentially anything that holds objects. Bag of Holding has a cooldown of 1 hour, and the power will affect how much the storage will expand. Note: I've set the size increase to be pretty limited for the time being. If it feels like Bag of Holding doesn't do enough, I will improve it in the future. Movement Tweaks New maximum driving/mounting slopes: Horses can now climb up to 60 slope, from 40. Hell Horses can now climb up to 60 slope, from 40. Large Carts & Ship Transporters can now climb up to 70 slope, from 40. Wagons can now climb up to 80 slope, from 40. This includes PMK wagons, which used to be 60. Black Wyverns can now climb up to 150 slope, from 60. Black Wyverns are now amphibious mounts - you may ride them across water up to 50 meters deep. Black Wyverns have obtained a significant mounted speed increase. Note: I am aware players are asking for Black Wyverns to be equipped with horse gear or similar. I'm working on it. Boat speed changes: Row Boat & Sailing Boat base speed increased by 40%. Cog base speed increased by 50%. Cog wind impact increased by 60%. Corbita & Caravel base speed increased by 33%. Corbita & Caravel wind impact increased by 50%. Knarr base speed increased by 20%. Knarr wind impact increased by 30%. Note: These are test values and will be tweaked according to community feedback. Spellcraft Spellcraft is a new mod I've been working on to gain exceptional control over the spells that exist in Wurm Unlimited. Wyvern Reborn will be used as a testing ground as I develop this mod. Spell changes: Scorn of Libila will now heal 2 wounds on all nearby allies, regardless of how many enemies the spell has hit. Scorn of Libila cast time reduced from 15 -> 10 seconds. Light of Fo difficulty increased from 40 -> 70. Strongwall cast time reduced from 180 -> 60 seconds. Weakness favor cost reduced from 50 -> 30. Zombie Infestation faith requirement increased from 50 -> 70. Drain Stamina now has a cooldown of 60 seconds. Minor Changes The new unique, Facebreyker, now has less armor & strength. He should hit slightly less hard, and have less total health. Black Wyverns should now hit slightly less hard and have reduced aggro range. Bug Fixes Black Wyverns should now actually eat food and should be able to be tamed. They are now carnivores.

    Entry #3 - The Mine We're slowly making progress! Apart from starting to learn how to cook, I've opened my mine and started expanding it a bit. In the meanwhile there is copper, tin and sandstone available, however no iron veins just yet. The view from my place is absolutely great. I love how in one direction I can watch the slow movement of the waves clashing into the far away server border while on the other side there are busy people trying to follow their every-day lives as they build their deeds. Could a spot be any more perfect?

    im having an issue with grass tiles and farm tiles the farm tiles all look like sprouts untill i preform an action then they will all render but only for a limited area only since update and no changes to settings made grass is the same and flowers have all disapeared this issue is still not resolved is there any way to correct rendering here?

    Entry #2 - Expanding to the main land It's been a quiet few weeks just mining away on my island and picking sprouts in fear that my forest will be quickly depleted. As it happens, I have been encouraged by my friend & leader Yldrania to help our alliance and expand my project into a larger one, so her and I have created a new character and deeded the main land across from the island. I will be keeping track of my island deed on this topic only, however I wanted to post a quick update on what is happening. It appears that the new deed will be rather mountainous and created in cooperation with my alliance, so I am very much looking forward to getting started with it. On the island itself it has been a slow journey of trying to find iron and finally managing to find some iron and copper. I'm still waiting for the shack to decay in order to deed the rest of the "Lonely" Island. For some reason I feel like I can't get started on any building projects until I have, because I'm not really sure what I want to do with the space I've acquired. I guess it doesn't have to be logical In the meanwhile I've created a rather large mine and gathered a lot of mixed grass, sprouts and other miscellaneous items. Food is still a problem - I am eating raw fish but it isn't really doing too great so if anyone knows an easy way to get started with cooking, that would be much appreciated.

    I'd have liked to see a list of the proposed areas and having a vote on them. Not sure if we have *that* many new players around in need for an impalong... nor a decent area offered yet (both ongoing project having their flaws).

    the trouble is not getting decent ash, the trouble is having a ###### load of decent ash... i'd rather have the option to use mortar on a rockshard to make concrete than having to crank out a crazy amount of coalpiles anytime i need ash (or create thousands of kindlings and lighting them up).

    After 1.4 when a player clicks on the Find on Wurmpedia link while looking at skills they get the following message. (using Stone cutting as an example) Failed to open http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php?title=Special:Export/Skills:Stone_cutting org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; systemId: http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php?title=Special:Export/Skills:Stone_cutting; lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 50; White spaces are required between publicId and systemId. The Edit this description link works just fine. It looks like it is doing this for skills as well as items, creatures, structures, etc.. Is this configurable somewhere?
