    If I am correct your demigod stats will be based off your ingame stats. So if you are a fresh toon coming from freedom odds are you will have ###### stats and the Demigod will be low stats and most likely killed on valrei before it can become a full god. This happened to Biggibo I think.

    Yes, it is clearly crashing on the intel graphics driver. Ideally he will want to use the dedicated gaming card instead because that is nearly ALWAYS better for Wurm. This does not work for everyone, but if you make a desktop shortcut for Wurm, there may be a right-click option on the shortcut to launch the game with the NVidia or Radeon. One quick tip to stop the crash at launch -- setting the game launcher OPTIONS (looks like a gear icon right by the character name) to use windows resizeable 800 x 600 (not fullscreen or regular windowed) solves a surprising number of crash-at-launch issues for people with intel graphics. The window is too small to game with, but after it loads without crashing, you can maximize the window to fill the entire screen. If problems continue, and nothing in the other thread helps, I would also like to see the file names console.charactername.log and also if possible the exact laptop model. This will confirm whether it is actually using the game card, and whether these are the very best drivers for it. (Do NOT use Windows Update or Device Manager to update the graphic drivers. Often if a laptop ships with Win7 and is later updated to Win8 or win10, it gets its original custom graphic drivers overwritten by generic ones from Microsoft, and that also causes issues. Knowing more about the laptop model will help track down any issues there.

    NO MORE GETTING LOST IN THE WOODS! In order to use this mod, you must install the Client Modlauncher mod, and extract the mod to the mods folder! You can download the mod from here: https://github.com/rater193/Wurm-Unlimited-Waypoints/releases/ To use the mod, ingame press escape, and click "Waypoint Manager" Then click "New Waypoint" Make sure the X, Y, and Z coordinates are what you want finally click Create Waypoint You should now see a waypoint where you specified The default position specified, is your player's current position A more formated post will come later, i just wanted to get this ready.     Just a quick update for those that are used to traveling through the canal. This is the canal that starts at my recently restored deed of Darq Shadow, at J17/J18 on the ingame map. I am working on the topside of the deed first, then will be heading underground to do some canal clean up later. Possibly remove some more veins, but mainly hoping to smooth out the floor, so carts and boats to get stuck, plus smoothing out the walls, where I took out notches for detours around veins (back when knarrs needed 2 tiles width to sail). I noticed someone has been doing a great job with the lake shore road, continuing east from Rome, towards the canal. That road stops at my huge clay patch. I'll be putting in a bridge bypass to clear the clay, to make foot traffic a bit quicker and keeping up with the theme of the new wider road. Thank you for whomever has done all that lovely work! Izzy maybe? So in the not too distant future, I'll update this post with another new pic to show the newer look with bridges installed. Next to the canal, I'll build a gate house to my deed, which will include a number of public beds. On the top of my deed's hillside are all my old pens, from when I had a much larger footprint. Those pens are all enchanted and open for public use. I may add in some other amenities for travelers over time, if I feel energetic Here is the new entrance look as of today:

    Pretty simple suggestion, just extend the sleep bonus cap for loyal players who want to go on long grinds or stuff. Something like 30 mins per 6 months of premium you have/had up to 1 hour of sleep bonus added to the cap (per year) if you were prem for 12 months in the past, or bought prem for 12 months. It won't imbalance the game, just help grinders (which is pretty much 90% of the wurm population anyway or so? ) and reward those who've been playing and paying for a while now. For example if you've paid for 36 months of prem in the past, your cap for SB would be at 8 hours. Would be nice for people who go on vacations and come back with more sleep bonus to get better skills in their adventures and so forth.

    Yes, if a GM right-clicks and selects "Reload config" from the Treasuremap sub-menu, the changes of the config take effect immediately without restarting the server. If there was an error, it would say so in orange text. And an Admin should take a look at the error in the console and fix whatever it says was wrong, it should have information about what part couldn't be reloaded.

    Looks like it's messing up only in windowed mode, full screen work fine. Updated nvidia driver from: 385.28 to: 385.41 now it's working fine!

    Owner has an option "abandon" on his object. Abandoned object sets owner to none. Any player trying to embark/enter got info that it is abandoned and got options: - claim - write ownership to current character - not now - leave at it is but ask every time again - reject - do not take ownership and do not ask again Also there could be an option, that if abandoned object is not used/entered longer then a month, it's decays 10 times faster. This will allow players to use not needed boats/vehicles and houses. And abandoned objects would decay faster if none would need them.

    -1 This would just cause a greater imbalance between new players and the legacy players imo. I would +1 any idea that gives legacy players something less game breaking, like something cosmetic perhaps.

    I think it'd be nicer to be able to stack planting actions (make it check for the link after the action starts instead). It's annoying to wait for the timer to finish before you can right click the next corner to plant the next catseye.

    People are building highways north and left and often even build guard towers at the roads. There's just this natural enemy of all buildings - decay. Guard towers decay too How about, the Bless spell on towers to decrease the decay rate considerably. Would it break anything, would it unbalance or generate annoyances? Of course it would be possible to Dispel in case anyone wants to bring the decay rate back to normal and let the tower fall.

    After adding crate racks to my work area in the shop I have enjoyed more floor space for my crafting needs with less clutter, but have since noticed that the range to access these racks seems fairly short. If possible it would be nice to see double the current distance for access, the racks themselves are fairly bulky and if positioned 1 per tile, you loose accessibility on racks 1 tile away.

    Gods Only the four original gods, Fo, Libila, Magranon and Vynora, would exist. There could only be priests and followers of these four. By restricting it to a static four gods, spell lists and abilities can be balanced between them, with each god having unique benefits and spells not found on any other god or player god. Player Gods Player gods would not be removed, but changed into Patron Gods. Patron gods have a very restricted list of spells, but can be worshiped by any follower or priest of any religion. A patron god has no priests. A patron god could be called a Saint, Demon, Spirit, Angle, or other appropriate name. Patron Gods A patron god blesses a player that makes a sacrifice to them. The duration of this blessing is a function of the player’s prayer skill and the Get Price of the sacrifice, a large Get Price can be used to offset a low prayer skill. The blessing can last between 10 minutes to up to 24 hours. A patron god has a single passive ability that priests and follower with Faith of 20 or more gains the benefit of. The patron god also has a very short list of 3 spells that priests gain access to. If the priest did not have access to these spells before, then their spell list is simply expanded temporarily. If the priest already had that spell, then the spell can benefit from a variety of possible benefits such as reduced favor cost, increased effective channeling skill or removed restriction (ie a Vynora priest being able to cast disintegrate on a pve server). Example: Patron Spirit of Caves Passive ability: Increased effective prospecting skill, allowing for more accurate information. Spells: Light Token, Strongwall, Disintegrate Example: Patron Saint of the Harvest Passive ability: Increased harvest quality, like your hands had the rune of quality on them. Spells: Humid Drizzle, Morning Fog, Wild Growth You can only be blessed by a single patron god at a time, with a new patron blessing replacing the old one if it had not yet expired. By making each Patron God tightly themed with a short list of abilities, many can be designed before exhausting or repeating abilities, removing the issues of randomized spell lists. The number of possible themes goes on almost endlessly, Patron gods of caves, houses, blood, darkness, love, hate, roads, mountains, smiths, trolls, etc. The Transition The most fair way to handle this would be to allow all player god priests a choice of following one of the four gods without loss of faith. Any player god altars could either be left in as legacy items or go blank until blessed again.

    Forum Reporting vs. Support Tickets I have been receiving a number of complaints from a small number of people concerning our Moderators and Game Masters telling people to report their issue on the forums instead of telling it to a moderator to report it. These people seem to want to think that the Mod team is simply being lazy and not doing their job or just not interested in helping them. The truth is that most of these individuals just like to waste our time with complaints, but I felt it was worthwhile to explain to everyone again why we ask you from time to time to post your non-sensitive issues to the forums. For fact, we of the team are few and you as members of the community are a lot. The Support Ticket system is there for you to contact us with sensitive issues, and if we can render immediate aid we will, but if we see it is not something we can help with due to no reimbursement policies or is a general mechanical situation that we have no power to correct and is non sensitive in nature, then we will ask you to post it on the forums and close out the ticket. This significantly reduces the number of duplicate reports, allowing everyone with legitimate information to participate in a single forum thread instead of many individual tickets for the testing and correction of the issue. It will not always be obvious to you what we can and cannot correct immediately, but when we do ask you to post in the forums it is not out of ‘bias’, ‘laziness’, or ‘uncaring’. After all, you know your issue the best. You know what you did better than we do. You are in a far better position to detail what happened for testing and replication which allows Alectrys, who heads up our Murphy’s Law dept., to follow up with you on the situation for details that we likely would not think to collect so that the developers can correct the situation in a future update. If we spent our available time investigating non-sensitive issues that you already know better than us, so that we could report it instead of you, then we would never get through our work each day. We do this out of respect and desire to help, so please understand that we are not just pushing your issue to the side, it really is important to post such issues to the forum so that the Development team can review the issue and leave the in game support ticket system for ‘sensitive issues’ or problems that we can work to correct immediately. I hope this drills home the significance of why we ask you to post non-sensitive mechanical issues on the forums instead of going through the mod team. Thank You, Wurm Online Team

    As I tend to do this at slayings I attend anyway, I figured I'd offer this a little wider. I have 90 nat subs and I'm happy to mix unique bloods into potions for no charge. If you'd like something mixed, mail me the blood (same name in-game) and I'll send back the potion (CoD'ed for 1i). You do not need to supply source crystals or salt, although if you're sending a large number of bloods, I'd appreciate some source (either crystal or salt) - 1 crystal does 30 bloods, FWIW, and I do have a fair stash of them. Obviously, you're not guaranteed to get a high ql potion - what I produce is what you'll get back. I'm not in game every day, so please be patient - it may take a couple of days to turn your mixing around, particularly if this offer proves popular. I reserve the right to refuse service, or to terminate this offer at any time - if I don't mix your bloods for whatever reason, they will be returned to you. I will not accept CoD'ed bloods - you pay postage both ways. Mixed potions will go back to the char who sent the bloods. If you have a particularly large haul that you'd like mixed, and you'd prefer to save on postage, you're welcome to come visit in person - I'm at Southern Release (around P15 in-game); probably best to PM me to arrange a time.

    I'm sure this has been suggested before but I'm not digging through the forums to find it. There should be a slope limit added to NPC movement. If I'm on a cliff and hundreds of slope beneath me there's a mob, it should not be able to walk up the side of the cliff like a damn magician. Also, nothing like accidentally unhitching your horse for a moment then having it climb a cliff and get out of reach. I just don't understand why this wasn't added sooner, seems like common sense to me. Cows are not mountain goats! Would also help prevent mobs from working their way into areas no one can reach.(without stam-sandwiches or whatever)
