    I would very much like something to be done about false player counts - Mythmoor for example shows an almost constant 100+, which is often 3x the actual player count, as can be seen logging in or on the wurm unlimited servers site https://wurm-unlimited.com/servers/players/ For one, it makes me sad that the shown player count isn't the actual amount (But that's Wurm for you, not the game for most), but more importantly it's false and misleading. As for server list saturation, currently the list when sorted by playercount has like 13 or 14 or so servers showing before scrolling. Almost half of those are a Login Server, PvE Server, PvP server If all clusters show the same playercounts, can't something be done to make it so only the login server shows, or maybe they are all grouped into a drop down list or somesuch? Just wondered what other people thought.

    2 can work at planting eyes, you each work at opposite ends, but for the most part it is a one man show. Niki mentioned using woa on a eyeball to speed up assembly, I will try this out tonight as I still have several hundred to create. The small servers the 10 second action is not too bad, as you really don't have long distances to go, but I can't imagine the time for doing mega highways on xanadu and indy. Creating and installing the eyes seems to be a longer process than simply paving the highway to start with. I blundered last night and layed down 30 some eyes on the wrong section of road, removal is not too bad, its one action now for the red catseye, but the 'pry' action destroys it, I would like to see it saved, in the end I decided to just re-route the end of the road and make it work.

    I want a rack that you could place at-least 3 Bulk Storage Bins on. I think that would be a fair amount without going overboard, it would also help with the clutter problems some people have (like me).

    We currently have furs which are used for little more than beds and rugs. I think it would be cool to have a line of medieval style fur clothing and assessories. I think they would go well with things like the bear helm, and boar/skull shoulder pads for those looking to live more like a wildling. Maybe even a new fur type shoulder pad, with a bonus that decreases aggressive animal detection as hunting themed bonus. Could be cool to have a more rebel/tribe themed group in PvP as well.

    Please more damage resistant lamps off deed when on public road. Already doing a public service to imp, plant and enchant, should last longer for the community.

    Two actually, I play with my girlfriend. And if you have a LOT of people, then you should have a larger storage. And with the bsbs in this picture.. First Picture: It doesn't look like that building is "full", it looks like a complete mess.. big difference. 2 bsbs per rack would give you walking space. Second Picture: A small amount of bsbs that are probably just holding several different qualities, 2 bsbs per rack would have all those bsbs against the wall near you. Third Picture: Another small amount of bsbs. 2 bsbs per rack would allow all of those to fit in the corner and not the whole wall. Fourth and Fifth Picture: Just another mess.. You are asking to have 2-3 racks hold all the bsbs in the first image?

    But it's a one person job. you cannot plant a cats eye until the previous cats eye has been planted. You can't have a gap. there's not room for teamwork. I think Jake's point deters the willy-nilly application of cats eyes as well as anything you might desire. if the timer is 10 seconds at 1 skill 8 seconds at 40 skill 5 seconds at 90 skill I don't see the harm. anyone with 90 skill in paving is not a careless newbie applying cats eyes is a one person job, that's the way it's implemented. it's one by one by one. link by link.

    Both planter rack and wrong materials bugs seem to be fixed already. I will take a look at the bridges bug, remaining issues aren't DeedPlanner-related but I will take a look at them as soon as I will be able to as well. Edit: Bridges bug fixed @Benie:

    perhaps an extension or modification of the highway system, could be made for canals so that things can be preserved without carving out whole areas as "heritage"

    I dont love pushing crates around, thats why I have everything organized yet not neat looking. Before the crate racks i would just have a bunch of rocks shard crates in one area, one on top of another. Logs went somewhere else, a little area for support beams and wooden beams. If i have high quality mats i just move them a bit to the side from the creation quality group. You have to push crates and bsbs around to find things??? Just get a bigger house and organize things, easy solution. A rack near your forges that can hold 10 bsbs is way too much when a bsb can hold 16,000 iron lumps. If you want several different qualities, 2 bsbs per rack should be enough. 2 racks would give you access to 4 different qualities.

    Just a maintenance restart today and to finish installing kyta and septim as player gods. Note that by Monday I need all kingdom wagons that are not the default freedom wagons to be empties on Northlands. I found the issue with the swapping when moving kingdom items to and from northlands but the fix may destroy or change existing items there. As such, need all wagons emptied and unhitched to prevent the further loss of items. Thank you.

    Less storage bins on the floor the easier I can find the items I am crafting, perhaps you love pushing crates and bsb's around to find items you make, I know most do not.

    I am a freedom player now guys (yes yes i know, i always stated I would be playing epic all my life) I think epic took the final blow, the once famous Serenity server even has no people playing there anymore. I can't play this game when there is 10 people online, spread over 4 big servers. RIP 350+ play days on Loren If i only knew that epic would have died out this hard, i would never ever started there, but hey, noone can foresee the future huh there is a ton of great accounts over there from people who love Wurm a lot, including myself and it all went poof. At least there is at least Freedom nowadays which has people to talk too. (Im still shocked by how kind people are there lol)

    Off deed bridges should be difficult to bash down for anyone, just the same as off deed walls and fencing are. On deed they should have the Mayor bashing bonus. =Ayes=

    Unstable is great, I've been using it for a while, the only time I stopped using it was when that weird horse glitch was happening not too long ago, as soon as they patched it out I jumped right back in. It is the only client I use and it's the best so far. The old stuttering that use to happen after a while is completely gone, has been gone for a while now actually. If you have a high-end computer and looking to experience some of the best visuals provided by the game I'd say hop on in, you will not regret it.

    Hi everyone! After a few hiccups we're pleased to see the new huge update live! There's all sorts of things, from highways, to crate racks and new fence types, so let's get to it! But first... Patch Notes Highway update We've been busy setting up all starter towns with the catseyes and waystones. They will extend into the perimeter of all starter deeds allowing you to connect them to your highways. The highway rules will continue to operate for a while, we'll give notice when we begin to phase them out and replace them with the updated ruleset to incorporate catseyes. Map dumps! As promised, we have the new map dumps to coincide with the release of the highway update! The map dumps were taken earlier in August and we're currently looking at adding a new dump type into the roster showing off highways in the next rotation!     I'd rather have assorted bsb that don't merge the ql, in WU there is this mod/spell to opt if merging or non merging effect.

    -1 because the suggestion says "at least 3." The majority of deeds i've seen don't have storage issues with bsbs, only organization issues. +1 if the width is half of a storage unit and stores 2 bsbs. Its just REALLY ugly seeing a floor filled with bsbs.

    How can you retain players when there is nobody playing there to retain? How can you gain players when the mechanics of the game are, to put it kindly, broken to hell and unbalanced. Yes the devs are putting in work, this does not change the fact there is no reason to play epic since no one plays there any longer, and any tiny amount that remain have all of the OP RARE moonmetal armor that is now more common than steel plate. Unless you like to farm tomes from broken valrei events in hope of a merge all of its other features are gonna make squat diddly have any incentive to play.

    To clarify: My interest in Sklo's mod is not an indication of integrating it into WU. My stance on this issue has been that we cannot force servers to report accurate counts. I had not thought to look at it from the client-side perspective though, which is as far as my interest goes with this. I haven't had time enough to look at the mod yet, but I think I see where it's going and it does warrant some investigation on if we are using the best possible source for player count data. We will not be flagging servers or doing any other sort of indication based on any source of data that we do not fully control. The reason for this is simple: We do not control the data. If we were to flag servers for not matching a criteria, we would risk flagging servers that may be affected by things that are out of our and the owner's control. If we were to flag servers that do match, there's always a chance that scheme could be abused in some way and yield more false results. So TL;DR: My only interest is the accuracy of the data source and if we can improve the accuracy of the client by using it. There are other things that I would love to find a way to make happen, which include providing the full cluster count as well as more information or a description of a server. I plan on giving at least the full cluster count a look when I do the data source used by Sklo's mod. I hope that settles everyone down a bit.

    Every time someone brings this up I ask this question: What would you have the devs do? It's very easy to stand there feeling offended and demanding justice, but it's much harder to actually come up with a solution to perceived injustice. Let's start though. How about... Force servers to report individual players and not alts. (i.e. No duplicate SteamIDs) - Okay! I can do this. And a mod could undo it in less time than it would take me to fix it. We could stop allowing mods. This isn't impossible, and I could work out a nice way to wrap everything up in a protective anti-cheat layer, but you can kiss any and all modding good-bye. Would that be better? Hundreds of the same identical server? I don't think we'd be very popular if we did this. So what else? Even if we did these things, it's absolutely trivial to spoof the data working around these things - and that's way beyond our control. But you knew this already, or you wouldn't have ended your post as you had.
