I wonder if games like call of duty limit people to how many people they kill because people cheat with wall hacks and aimbots ..no i don't think they limit their game to effect the majority because of a minority.

The circumstances of my life and the global, environmental, and political climate of the world pushed my subconscious to desire to (again) seek out the safety of Wurm's mantle. I live in a dank metropolis and can't currently move due to financial and health issues. I yearn to run through open, unrestricted, unpolluted fields (good luck being able to do that in our world), to encounter mystery and surprises, to travel. I want to live in a rural area and have a cozy tiny house, off grid, with a lush backyard and a chicken coop. Yes, that is one of my main dreams. Wurm offers this to me. It may be just "Java", but you, Wurm, give me serenity and beauty, my own crops, animals to care for, seas to cross. All of us here are seeking something, and there is no shame in any of it. Some of us are quite addicted, and addiction comes from some deep place, and I honor it. I honor it in you. How many of us here seek respite in an isolated deed and do not care to interact? No shame. I honor all of it. How many just want someone to chat with about stupid things while entertaining their DNA's yearning for "hunting and gathering"? It's all honorable. Some of us may be in a good place behind the screen. Others may not be. We're all here in this moment in time, and I like to pause and marvel at it. In my heart, I don't feel that we'll always have the internet (where the world is going and etc). But that we got together in this alternate universe and created and communicated with one another using something akin to telepathy - is nothing short of a wonder. Poignant post? I have that touch, I guess. Have you ever wanted to build a two story building with some rooms on the second floor? Well you can't unless you like awkward spaces between the roof and the wall. I say we should get an option to plan an attic floor right under a roof so that space gets filled in. Obviously you cant go into the roofs but it would help take up that empty space.

Something akin to telepathy. For if there would be no Wurm my life would lack many great things. My thanks to Wurm for being here to type this message. In my darkest hours, the escape into Wurm was reason to stay around. Thanks to Wurm I am married with someone so far away that the odds of us meeting without Wurm would have been absolute zero. Thanks to Wurm for our daughter. Surely quite few people in Wurm has seen me in good times, bad times and very bad times. Those people are from all over the globe, all sort of different people, they also have had good, bad and very bad times. After so many years knowing these amazing people trough Wurm, I can no longer but wonder and feel sadness when some of those in real life who did not yet abandon me telling me how "online friends are not true friends". No wonder the escape into Wurm is so pleasant.

Selling affinity meals of your choice! HOW THIS WORKS: We send you 2 sample meals, you taste (using the taste option in the rightclick menu) both and tell me which one gives you what affinity and send them back. Tasting those 2 meals is only required once per character, after this we can always prepare the correct meal for the affinity of your choice. If you need the same affinity for 2 different characters, they will have to do the tasting separately and will most likely require 2 separate meals as each toon is different. Based on those 2 samples, we can prepare meals which are about 4kg in weight and +/- 90 quality. This means that if you want Tailoring affinity, we will send you a meal which will give you 4hour+ of Tailoring affinity after first bite! Don't eat it all, just choose "eat" and hit escape right away, one bite of 0.03kg in size will give 4h+ affinity time and 100% CCFP, if you have a magic chest, it will last you over a year assuming 4h/day, otherwise it will pretty much decay before you can use up the hours it gives. This amazing deal which is not offered by anyone else will cost 1 silver per meal. There is an exception to this, some characters are "bugged" and they can't have affinity from meals by this recipe for the 20 skills below, we will know if your toon is one of those after you taste the 2 samples as well and will let you know. If your character is one of those affected by this, we can't prepare the following affinities for you and there is nothing we can do about it, some toons have affinities distributed weird. 20 skills out of 138 are affected: channeling, exorcizm, artifacts, foraging, botanizing, climbing, stone cutting, lock picking, stealing, traps, catapults, animal taming, animal husbandry, short bow, long bow, med. Bow, ship building, ballistae, trebuchets, turrets. We can still prepare the remaining 118 affinity meals for the affected toons. STEP BY STEP GUIDE

Please change the way sorcery items are earned. It's very disheartening spending many hours smashing out missions instead of putting that time into my skills in hope of obtaining an item that might be worth the effort. When you do win and someone lucks out who barely contributed and you with your 10k+ scenario points don't get jack makes you want to cry. I think it was Posteh who suggested something like this a while back but the idea is simple: Allow players to buy sorcery items using their karma and reward scenario wins with moonmetal or something else. This way everyone gets to earn their rewards and not just occasionally get to throw the dice for something nice. Some guy posted some stats about missions completed by each server and you can clearly see one server in particular blows everyone else out the water. Something isn't right there. So I say something like 50k to buy a specific tome and 25k to roll for a random one. Scenario wins can still give keys and wands and whatever else but tomes since they are essential to being competitive in PvP now should be readily available to all who are willing to work to achieve them and not throw dice.

In connection with this Trash Heap improvement they should add a *Dispose* option to it. By clicking this it would immediately delete the contents in the same way a *discard* click deletes some items. I mean I'm here to shitpost and steal game mechanics from the game and the forums but ok.

The statement is quite profound, but right on point. Every one of us play this game for a different reason. Whereas for a sense of community, an urge for creation, or the thrill of the hunt, it is something we can all achieve from the comfort of our desktops. i would otherwise never be able to construct a house, cut down a tree or slay a bear if not for Wurm. So I share your feeling of euphoria when I log into the game. That is what allows me to see past the pixelated corners and the blocky houses, the unfinished animations and the many glitches that dot our landscape. To me, Wurm is much more than that. I am glad I found you. Someone with that sense of belonging promises good things in any group. You are welcome in Port Alora. Celebration is there for you to take. I feel many people should learn from you, not in experience but in optimism. Wish it was contagious. Never change.

If you do manage to find this, and this is the case, i think it mightve been overtuned for deer. Bison are just fine from my experience, but, deer are basically extinction level spawn rates. I'm pretty sure ive seen more deer in real life per month than i see in wurm at this point.

We would also be happy to help the bridges being built. We have very high dioptra and high masonry, I am sure we can come up with some of the mats too. I am also going to go out on a limb here and say that chances are very small that anyone would grief your bridges, based on the fact that between our alliance friends we built many, many huge bridges and have never come across anyone griefing bridges on Release. This is a small community and pretty much everyone knows everyone, and for the most part, we all work together and have a relaxing time. It is PvE, not PvP. I believe that you are much more likely to actually have some irate person go dig down the landbridge than what you will have someone going to deed over a normal bridge, as the landbridge is annoying and may cause someone to say, well, stuff this, I am digging it out. You could also build arched double wide bridges and then it will be protected any way. It is great that there are conversations about how to adapt this, it is just a shame that this did not happen before it was built in the first place, as I am sure you would have found many people willing to come down and help you out. The Release community in general is extremely generous and kind, and many have high skills and tools and time to help out on community projects. Let us know when you are ready to change these bridges, and we will come help out wherever possible.

There was a bug with crop tile polling in the alpha, and a mod was introduced to fix that. Now it's been addressed officially in the beta, the mod is conflicting and causing issues. Removing the mod from the server mod launcher will mean the official code handles it as it should, and all is well.

Also, at this point, there is no incentive to put together a team to kill Drakes and Eagles as all they drop is a Valrei item, gland, and eye. And, since most of them are in deep water you will likely not be able to retrieve them anyway. I get all of the Valrei items I need killing NoGumps, Sol Demons, and SOUs. And I have a chance to get a lump or ointment drop. They also seem to gather in swarms of 3 to 10 spirits making it kind of hard to separate into singles to be killed by 2 or 3 players. So one possible solution would be to make it worthwhile for players to hunt the spirits by increasing the loot drops to encourage players to group up to kill them. With how many mobs are dropped daily on Epic it won't be long until we are in the same boat again even if GM's god kill all of the Val Mobs. +1 to the idea of shorter life span for Val Mobs. Mobs that spawn and become a problem are dealt with in short order. Mobs that spawn in the wilderness are mostly ignored and multiply like rabbits making some areas no go areas for those in the know.

I think there should be a daily and maybe a monthly cap on rare items you can create
