    Changes: Changed Rift rewards to be more in line with final ranking. Light of Fo will give a max of 15 participation points per cast, as long as it hits that many creatures to heal them. At the end of a Rift, if you have more than 60 participation (phenomenal), the lump you receive will be less random ql and weight, and more dependent on your participation score (with a slight amount of random on top of it). Also at the end of a rift, if you have more than 60 points, you’ll get an amount of rift resources scaling to your participation points (up to a max of 20 at a participation score of 360). Each of these items will be random between the three rift materials, and the ql will scale based on participation too. Higher participation generally will mean more rift material bits at a higher ql (though there is a slight random added to the final ql of each bit). Changed the resulting location of lamps planted using the corner tile. Lamps previously planted using the tile corners if on tile corners that bordered deed and perimeter may have actually been ‘located’ on the perimeter tile rather than the deed tile for lighting and decay. If you have lamps planted in this manner, pick up your lamp, stand on the DEED tile and replant in the corner to assure that the lamp is located on deed and not in the perimeter. Lamps in the past could not be planted on certain tile borders if there was a house or fence on that border as well. You can now plant and interact with lamps on tile corners even if there is a house or fence intersecting that tile corner. Blessed lamps will auto-light off deed when planted on pavement tiles. When planting, please be certain you are standing on the pavement tile if planting using the tile corner method. Feature: New behavior for off deed blessed lamps. Blessed lamps planted off deed on pavement tiles will auto-light in the evening and consume no fuel as long as they are fueled and lit initially. Blessed lamps planted off deed on bridges will auto-light in the evening and consume no fuel as long as they are fueled and lit initially. Blessed lamps planted off deed on reinforced cave floor tiles will remain lit all the time and consume no fuel as long as they are fueled and lit initially. Boat speeds have been tweaked upwards as a percentage of their base speed in low wind according to their relative difficulty to create: Corbita: +26% Cog: +75% Knarr: +2.5% Caravel: +33% Wind bonus has remain unchanged, and speed differences will be most noticeable in little wind. Bug Fixes: Bugfix: The changes in 1.3 to multiple harvests depending on skill and age for Forestry and Milking were affected by a bug that increased skillgain per harvest exponentially per tick during one action, this has been rectified and the skillgain per tick will be the same across the whole action. This fix also affects Botanizing as that is where the original bug was. Bugfix: Sealed barrels properly reflect the weight of the contents while in inventory. Bugfix: Fixed a few issues with sealed barrels and contents behavior. Bugfix: Fixed an issue where you would not get the nature-meditate option on the context menu if you had something activated in inventory and there was a glow rune on your rug. Bugfix: Fixed an issue which prevented loading of items with glow runes attached. Bugfix: Internal components of items can no longer be loaded into war machines. Bugfix: Fix for not receiving normal stance fight skill. Bugfix: Recipe fixes for mayo not mixing with other items or leading to unknown recipes in lore. Bugfix: Various spelling and text errors fixed. Bugfix: Added a few layer and obstruction checks for interaction while above and below ground. Bugfix: Fixed an issue which prevented clay shingles from being dragged into a kiln from a bulk container. Bugfix: When planting a flower in a pottery flowerpot or a marble planter, the planted pot will have the same quality/damage as the empty planter. Bugfix: Another fix to prevent fog spiders from spawning on deeds. Bugfix: Fixed a few issues to properly block building or continuing structures inside blocked zones. Bugfix: Rebalanced damage done to tools when destroying unfinished fences and building walls as well as completed fences and walls. Bugfix: Fixed a few cooking achievements that were not working properly and added a few new ones to be discovered. Bugfix: Fixed various text descriptions for recipes and ingredients.

    Only a slight speed boost for the knarr, as it was already the fastest without any wind, it's still faster than the others, but not by up to 2x anymore. i.e. other ships are more viable now.

    I would like to make a suggestion to introduce into Wurm Online a new item, an alternative to the Genesis spells of Priests for the treatment/removing of Bad Traits, Illness, and Disease from Animals: "Genesis" Potion, purchased from a ingame Trader, works similar to Tuning Forks and other such items with a number of preset uses, and allows any Player Character (does not require Priesthood) to use them on Livestock to remove bad traits, illness, and diease from an animal and generates income for CodeClub and Wurm such as Preming up a character as a Priest does for CodeClub. This end goal of this suggestion is not an attempt to deprive CodeClub of income, nor is it an attempt to deprive Players of income they would receive from selling genesis services, nor deprive Players of interaction with other Players. There are valid reasons why a Player might not wish to play a priest character or utilize the services of a priest character in Wurm, or even purchase an animal that genesis was cast on, and I will not discuss my own particular reasons for why I am making this suggestion, other than to say I have desired an alternative for years and I felt it was time to make the suggestion. I support CodeClub's need to charge for services, and I see my suggestion as a service, such as finding out information about a vein or fast travel across a server and I expect and also suggest the cost of this new suggested item be set as to disturb the current "genesis service priest service" as little as possible.... to keep it simple I don't expect these AH Potions to be cheap. I am willing to pay CC well for this new item from a Trader because dealing will the raising of animals in Wurm without utilizing genesis is difficult. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make suggestions. (For those who suggest I go to Wurm Unlimited and seek a Mod there... I never will as WU is offerred now through STEAM. I do not agree with Valve/STEAM and it's ability to lock out the use of products a player has paid for, products created by another company, and I will not agree to Valve/STEAM's Terms of Service as a result. If WU was available on GOG or another service that guaranteed access to the products the player paid for no matter what then I would most definitely go to WU.... sadly that is not an option so I stay in WO and make my suggestion here.)

Her friends saw her as a skinny, silent sexy. Once, she had even saved a heavy puppy that was stuck in a drain. But not even a handsome person who had once saved a heavy puppy that was stuck in a drain, was prepared for what HemZ had in store today. The rain hammered like smiling kangaroos, making Jibberish calm. Jibberish grabbed a ribbed stapler that had been strewn nearby; she massaged it with her fingers. As Jibberish stepped outside and HemZ came closer, she could see the alert glint in his eye. HemZ glared with all the wrath of 8909 charming knobby koala. He said, in hushed tones, "I hate you and I want You're Face." Jibberish looked back, even more calm and still fingering the ribbed stapler. "HemZ, love," she replied. They looked at each other with sleepy feelings, like two easy, encouraging emu sitting at a very dreamy funeral, which had jazz music playing in the background and two hotasfk uncles jogging to the beat. Suddenly, HemZ lunged forward and tried to punch Jibberish in the face. Quickly, Jibberish grabbed the ribbed stapler and brought it down on HemZ's skull. HemZ's handsome groin trembled and his sexy butt wobbled. He looked sparkly, his emotions raw like a round, rotten rubberband. Then he let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later HemZ Thegreat was dead. Jibberish TheShy went back inside and made herself a nice shot of Vodka. THE END

    They would have banned many if this was the case including myself, this was a legit way of skilling shields. Most wurmians trained their shield skills on penned animals.

    I don't know about anyone else that has a priest, but mine will be heading out when it hits live to bless lamps. Anyone in the FM/DF area is more then welcome to bring them to me for blessing. (bring some chopped veggies if you bring more then a couple).

    I have 5 friends I speak with on a daily basis on Wurm Online. We spend a lot of time on comms and we often discuss topics which plague our fair community. One of those friends is on the ledge, and wants to quit Wurm. When asked why, his answer is simple: There is nothing left for him to do. After 6+ years of playing, my friend has been everywhere. He has lived in every server, built every type of deed, won and lost Chaos battles, played in the Epic servers, built underground deeds, worked on making tunnnels and canals, built colossuses and basically played any type of character profession that matters. So his interest has dwindled. Upon asking him what would rekindle his love for Wurm, his answer was a simple one: A new island. Being a new player I balked at this. Why would we add new islands when we already have a world that is too big for the small community we have? Surely more servers equals more land, which equals a more splintered community. Or does it? However, he argues that old players need something new. New servers promise this. More lands, more places to explore, perhaps new monsters to fight or resources to be found? Maybe the love of sailing and heading to New destinations to encounter the unexpected. What is your opinion on this? Should Wurm have a fresh new server? Maybe replace one of the current ones? Or maybe something else entirely? What would rekindle your waning love for this world we have made ours? Please comment below. Share your opinions.

    Ultimately in situations it boils down to: WO receives specific curated content WU receives tools and assets to create and curate your own content. Running a server for yourself is always slightly more technical in WU than other games, because it places YOU in the role of the server admin, YOU get to decide the content that comes in the game. Make no mistake, this recipe system was designed from the ground up with WU in mind, the very fact individual files can be loaded into the server is proof of this, with WO all could be simply hard coded and have zero impact, but the goal is to provide WU with the tools to create their own, rather than a mirror image of WO. It's how it has been in the past, and how it will be in the future, WU will still get the majority of content that WO gets, but will sometimes receive tools to create and curate their own content vs the exact same content WO gets. And like I said, alpha with the recipes, might even have a competition too for players to provide some to go in with the official launch of 1.3, how would that sound?

    Hmm. I personally like the natural look of the peninsula and the extensive -untouched or slowly returning to that state which I help actively when I have the time to- forest there. It was one of the key points we founded Sopron on the peninsula some years ago. While I'm not against roads if not leaving big scars (I don't see any point in a 3+ tile highway and extensive dirtwork where it is not necessary) - is there any practical reason of a highway there? The west coastline you target is not really inhabited except the very few people, and I think we are definitely doing great without a highway...

    I agree, they are going to need to add some additional recipes so that people can at least use the vanilla update content without modding. It would probably help if we made a list for them on the feedback form of things that cannot be used as-is

    It's not so much about skilling WS or BS. It's about how much you fail while imp'n. There are Imbues and Runes and chants for all kinds of things. These are used to make skilling easier. It's the failure rate that's been pissing me off for quite a while. Don't recall it ever being this bad. Soon as I hit about 89ql during an imp, I fully expect the failures to come hard and fast. Not sure if there was a change to the failure rate a while back, but seems so.

    A crushing defeat for Jenn Kellon Chaos as they lose a top 3 Artifact to us after trying to recharge. Their own Champions scared to escort these valuble historic weapons from the gods. Be a Crusader, don't lose the best artifacts!

    To put it into perspective for you, I paid 20e for this character: https://niarja.com/skill_compare/BT Meditation will go a long ways for you. If you get it to at least 30 before selling, it will change things and help you get more bang for your buck. Stuff like taming, lockpicking and husbandry will increase the value of your account exponentially. 30 body control is considered entry level on chaos, and low at that. I would suggest comparing what you have with other characters recently sold to have an idea of where your pricing is.

    Yay for off-deed USEFUL lamps!!! About bless - it should remain priest-only thing. They cannot build, they cannot improve, they cannot mine, chop trees, pave, destroy different things... Priests need loving too! They want to feel special, not only in their huts doing CoC and LT casts, but also outside, in the social world. Not much market for healing horses and the strongwalling business isn't blooming either, maybe blessing the lamps will bring a few extra coppers to the bank now.

    I'm guessing this is true for all the new items that have internal components - lunch boxes, stills and larders. I've added all 3 to the bug list and will try to verify all of them unless a dev beats me to a fix.

    For Ayes: Yes, players with no priests are at a disadvantage, but then they were always at a disadvantage anyway. Code Club wants everyone to play multiple accounts and pay for them. Think of it this way... you can just have one non-priest account, then take the 10s monthly that would normally go towards running a second account and use it to pay a priest to come do your lamps. Regarding tunnels vs outside streets and the need for an always on lamp: I say let's start with ALL BLESSED lamps stay on 100% of the time, then when you figure out how to do it differently for tunnels and outside streets, make that update then. I agree with others that tunnels are far more important than streets for this feature. I'd suggest a simple toggle/popup at the time bless is cast "Always on / only on at night".     It's a neat idea, but don't hold your breath. On top of what Wargasm said the "power levelers" would throw a fit over anything that would threaten their 20 hr a day grinds.

    I'm not looking to buy right away, but might be once my priest levels up a little more. How exactly does that get priced? So a 1QL gem costs 45 iron, and a 2QL gem costs 90 iron?

    I like this idea very much! Would make it easier to relax in-game when RL demands my attention at any moment. Not to mention all that armor we always have to wear chaffs. Nothing but cotton pie-jamas on the peaceful island!

    It's slowly catching up. My hives have gone dormant now as well and snow is starting to be high enough to gather snowballs.
