    I would like to suggest the frying of foods by placing future recipe items in a sauce pan with olive oil. Specifically Chicken Tenders, french fries are also acceptable and anything else people suggest. Tenders Displayed here, with Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

    Those items you mention are end goal items, if you want quick and easy, wooden walls, wooden floors, build a rowboat. Ships used to be extremely expensive and intensive projects and this reflects that, other items are considerably more unique, and you shouldn't be trying to make them starting out. Don't live on an island? 90% of all servers consist of mainland, and bridges are a huge connected part. So they complain when skillgain drops at 30? it takes a couple of hours at most to hit 30 skill in something, hitting it in half the time isnt going to make new players stick around longer. This is a subscription based game, that isnt changing. While this game could use more players, insanely boosted free players do not bring anything to the table. New guy walks into a bar, looks around, starts talking crap about the place, how do you think the locals are going to react? Take your time to explore the game, don't sit there wishing it was changed to suit you, everyone has ideas about what they'd like to see in the game or how they'd like to see it grow, but coming in with a severely negative attitude doesnt help anyone. Take some more time to play the game, and if you don't think its worth 12 bucks a month, that's fine, you don't have to pay, bu don't expect the game to cater towards all of your whims, that's all.

    sorry some of us don't play the game to pay our electric bill and just like having a rare here and then no need to flail this maximum-nerd case scenario like everyones doing it or something

    Instead wasting countless hours in game to get a rare, better make and sell some bricks/mortar and buy any rares you want. Or hardcore option (for some people), spend 1-2 hours more in job and for extra money buy any rare you want. Summing up - it is waste of time. In before - "I have no job and I need this rare." No, you don't need it.

    Every Wurmian has their own obsession. Not sure how many mouse clicks it would take to get a skill to 100 either (one of my friends is at 99.99 farming and still going months later...), but as long as people enjoy their time, it is all good The cherry blossoms inspired the dye colours.

    Ohh wow rares are rare and hard to get? That system sounds fubar /s Stop thinking rares are necessary and just be happy you have a chance at it. Is anyone a winner if everyone gets a medal?

    I think it's more than half a year ago that i made something rare. Like someone else said in the chat 'i found rares are for other ppl'. Even with a higher rarity deed bonus it keeps failing when it counts to me, for example when im imping armor. And i'm getting all the time rare moments when im farming or mining. I'm realy not waiting for huge amounts of rare mats because they decay to fast and when i'm trying to use them on items it also fails. It annoys me more and more by the day. 95 Out of 100 times rare moments are happening when i'm not creating or imping stuff... It feels like its programmed to make people fail when they realy need it. Imo its carbage...

    I have in my possession a full set of glimmersteel plate armor, which to my knowledge may well be the only complete set on the cluster, though I cannot confirm this. This armor is the strongest in the game, offering better overall damage reduction than even dragon scale, the same as Seryl. The metal is rare and can only be collected by winning the Hunt of the Ancients on Chaos or from completing a rift. Finally decided I'm never personally going to put it to much use and could use the money so here is a picture and auction that i'll run for one week. I will only be selling for silver, the winner will receive the set in the mail from my account Mailman. Starting Bid: 100s Bid Increments: 5s Buyout: None Sniper Protection: 1h

    So, yay! We now have stairs and bridges! Great work team. Something I think we all miss though are a ramp you can ride up, that you can build inside a structure. I suggest that this ramp should take quite a bit of materials (since you're basically covering a floor worth of bricks). 40 bricks and 40 mortar? The ramp should NOT be pushable, but Turn is obviously a very big necessity! Yes? No? Give me all your feedback on this idea EDIT: Changed suggestion due to reasonable feedback.

    I can't think of many games where new players have instant and easy access to top tier creations. Slate floors, large ships, aren't and shouldn't be tailored to be able to be done easier by new players. These are things that players work up towards, these are high level crafts that are indeed for players who are already settled into the game. Furthermore, there is zero need for an entry level player to have slate floors, or huge ships, when there are a dozen and one other things that they should be working or investing in to get themselves situated and off to a good start in the world of Wurm.

    These things are just in relation to different skill things, I am sure there will be things I have not thought about but here goes any way: For days my friend got NO ticks on meditating. Not nature. Not meditation. Not 'any random tick at all'. Nothing. Suggestion: Please add ticks for meditation (on occasions you don't get meditation, let them get other kinds of ticks). Also please increase the amount of times you get meditation ticks, even over 80 meditation skill level. Please add natural substance ticks or nature for improving paints. Please add some kind of window, similar to crafting, for making healing covers.

    Don't fret just yet. After a few hours of messing around, the PvE server is now functional and stable. The only downside so far is that all Depth Drills had to be deleted. Currently working on getting the mods that made the server what it was back in order so we can actually have it up and running within a reasonable timeframe. Maybe a day or two. Possibly less. Who knows. EDIT: Things are actually going exceptionally well. I am pretty confident we'll be able to get the server up and running so people can at least play in the next day or two.

    I think the better option for meditation would be to tailor the event message similar to farming, giving a better indication of why you are not getting ticks. Improving dyes does not use any skillcheck, to give ticks it would need to start doing so, which means making it more difficult to improve colours. The reason the crafting window doesnt work for healing covers is due to the way it works, rather than being individual recipes it's potency 1 x potency 2, so it's not as simple as just adding the ability to do so in, which is why it hasn't been done yet, maybe in a UI overhaul, but I'd have to speak with the devs about that

    I personally feel they should reduce the chance on rares when creating and increase the chance on imping. It would help level out the market. As it stands i feel like the majority of the rares on the market are made by those few who just farm them by spamming new items. I am sure that was not the intention of the devs when implementing this system.

    I just said what i do and i'm ok with what i get..doing what that guy did with his guide...it goes beyond just playing a game for fun.. and is more like taking it to science and make money off the game..thats just not the way to go in any game.. but thats just me i guess,it takes all the funn away.

    when sending items you have the first window entering receiver name . next window you add prices , but cant see the receiver name anywhere. Wouldnt it be better if you could see the receiver name there aswell. Change this line The cost for sending these items will be 0 irons. To The cost for sending these items to playername will be 0 irons.

    1. The rarity system is fine. If you aren't able to make a rare that you like, then just craft in a way that can maximize your odds. The needed knowledge is publicly available. Asking for a reliable way to make rares however is just.. too much... 2. imping rolls have 20% chance of turning the item rare but only if the imping action is successful. Raising it would make the creation of rares way too cheap time-wise. 3. Soulbound items? Please no. I don't want to see old priests being sold together with their rare rope tool and be asked to pay 30-50s for the tool itself because someone used a window of opportunity. I would also hate to see the death of 2nd hand tools market even if I can profit from such a change. 4. If the problem for you is that people make money from rares or that they are too expensive or anything: Seriously dude. You don't NEED a rare item just as you don't NEED a drake set or a moonmetal weapon. I've been there for years and still use studded and a 5 year old maul most of the time despite being able to make high ql plate and fancier weapons.

    Level 1 plain rug with as much coc as you can afford. My rug was 99coc I think. Try to remember to always use sleep bonus. I did my first 5 meditations with my 5 prayers. After I had a timer set for the additional ones that were 3 hours apart. There are many with 90 plus meditation. They will all give the same advice I think. I went to 90 med. I have meditated from time to time since but 90 was where I wanted to go and so that was where I stopped. This will be most likely the same way that person gained 85 meditation. (unless they bought the character and had no idea what went into gaining that much skill. No offense meant if they didn't buy it but many people do purchase characters and then do not understand how to progress them further in a skill)

    If you don't get ticks for days, you're using wrong ql rug.. similar to going to skill mining on rocks with 90ql pick. Tick rate stays the same even at 80+ skill(if you keep your rug at right ql range), just the tick size goes lower and lower as you progress in skill.

I will update the wiki to reflect that it is based on win streak, but the details as far as x wins = x color I will leave out since the data pulled was based on WU code. Seems pretty confirmed in the thread though.

    The "The cave walls sound hollow. A dangerous side shaft could emerge", in WU code does nothing that serves a purpose. It simply just disallows two tunnels joining in a rectangular angle for no reason, because there are no additional checks. I am wondering what is the reason that you can't re-connect a caved-in tunnel corner like this? I fail to see any purpose in this particular preventative mining message and think that it should be removed. Even GMs and Devs seems to be supportive of this notion ;b I'm bringing it up again (wooo search function) because it's still in the game, and it bugs me every time it happens. All it causes is distress and discontent for having to make a weird arse tunnel maneuver. Not for the time it takes, but for how it ends up looking, if at all possible.

    Your ideas sound like someone else who comes around from time to time and claims to give a new players perspective, and then proceeds to suggest changing 90% of how the game works. great! So it's great that you have somethign to work towards, but then you say it shouldnt be so long? Thanks for your ideas, ideas are always welcome, always valid. But if people disagree with you, take a minute to think about why, rather than just going on about how people arent willing to consider any fresh perspectives, maybe a new player doesn't fully understand the game, and perhaps helping them to understand it is a better idea than to change it to adapt solely to them

    My latest warehouse design incorporates 2 indoor ramps that lead from 1st to 2nd floor at one end, then at the other end of the building a ramp goes from 2nd to 3rd. The building is a 4x11. It works quite well, with a combination of walls and arch's along the sides of the ramp openings. For this to work you need to create exterior walls on the inside for each ramp.

    Sea Attack Event Yesterday our Head GM Engineer with help from the staff team set up the Sea attack event, which was meant to be a smaller event beween the big dragon events and the fall impalong in the next weeks. But as usually things on Sklotopolis keep breaking every record and so even the small planned Sea Attack Event from yesterday became one of the biggest and most successful events so far. At first people were setting up in Haven, leaving together to fight the sea creatures who attacked the Knarrs from our kingdom. The brave warriors managed to kill 3 sea serpents and a ton of guardian anacondas very fast and almost without any losses on the side of the kingdom. After the sea creatures have been dead the transport ships of the kingdom have been discovered as empty, someone already looted the ships. The participants found tracks of trolls on the ships and heard rumours of a troll camp close to Haven at the east coast. So they made their way to the troll camp and succeeded finding it, after taking out the first troll guardians, the fight against the leader of this camp began and of course our warriors also succeeded this time. In the end of the event a special guest showed up The vernable goblin leader which was killed during the event too, giving everyone the title "Fearless", I would say everyone really deserves this title so it fitted quite well into this. Thanks to Engineer for organising this event, thanks to our staff team for helping him and of course thanks to everyone who showed up and attended on the event. Congrats to the winners of the scale/drake sets and all the other stuff which has been raffled after this event.

    A lot of noobies say "I don't need help, I am going to do everything myself." That is cool, but if you don't have a lot of time and struggle without higher ql tools, you may become discouraged. Not everyone can be good at every skill. Pick something (or a few skills) you like doing, skill up in those, and make friends who like the other stuff. Trade with them for the stuff you can't make yourself. Not only will you have more fun playing the game, you may end up making real friends in the game and have lots of laughs and adventures along the way.

    I am glad that WU brought you the money you needed to move on and try other things. I think turning the creative aspect over to the players was a good thing because you can tell that you checked out a long time ago. Good luck on your future endeavors and thanks for creating a great game.
