    Was suggested (and asked for) so many times before! Eventually, "Enchant grass" was moved in a sub-menu, but "Get info" wasn't; I'm wasting it on a daily basis while farming, on a not-so-laggy server (I'm not very fond of key bindings and "easy stuff", so I still right click a lot). (On the bright side, after so many "Get info", I know every single mob around and under my deed, including their relatives, friends, enemies, prefered music and colour of their socks.) A very big +1 from me!

    After spending a few days on this server, id have to say its basically my ideal version of this game. I've spent 3 years playing wurm online and after even that small amount of time.. kinda sick of the slow grind. Even though i have a lot of gear saved up over such a long time, i don't feel i have the incentive to actually go out and lose any of it. This server feels like the game should have been, or perhaps a version of this server should have been implemented on the main wurm servers for those that love fast paced action.

    Raise the minimum speeds and allow the option to lower sails for when you are pulling into the harbour.

    Precision Perimeter Control Allow us to control the size of our perimeter in each cardinal direction, much like we control the rest of the deed. Additionally, let us shrink our perimeter to a minimum of 1 while still allowing the first 5 to be free. This means that there would still be an absolute minimum of 2 tiles between deeds, instead of the current 10 tiles

    So, I think I posted this before, but here goes again. We really need a separate menu for these big cooldown skills. It is way too easy to misclick and burn it, while disembarking, destroying pavement, examining, etc. PLEASE can we give these "once a day" skills a sub menu, or a "you sure you want to use this skill now?" popup. Something? I lose my Get Info almost every day, because menus are laggy and I think I'm clicking one thing and it turns out to be another.

    Bugfix – Changing the contents of the mailbox while sending will now abort the sending process. Bugfix – Corrected double period text with ‘Get Info’ Skill. Bugfix – You are no longer able to cast ‘Dirt’ on Bulk Storage Bins in your inventory.

    If you need IRC client, I recommend HexChat. If you need voice comms, Team Speak 3 is a way to go.

    Depends on how it's implemented. If it's short range and only happens when not within sight of a player then it might as well be called Jumping. Considering their size it should certainly be a piece of cake for them to go over fences without having to break through them.

    So, I've been following the trades quite a bit and there is a trend lately, for people to accept hidden BO offers, before the auction ends. The person holding the auction simply lists: "Buyout - make me an offer" and now the entire auction is nothing more than a WTS thread. I would like to see some real structure to auctions, to try bringing back the original feel they had. What is the point of even bidding, when you know someone can secretly make an offer and the seller can simply accept and close the thread? This is not what an auction is supposed to be. I propose we set some hard rules for auctions and enforce them by giving issuing warnings to people that break policy. After a couple warnings, they simply are banned from using the auction area of forums. WTS can certainly have loose guidelines, like "I want 500e for my character and I'll decide in a week", but then not decide in a week. WTS is the wild west of sales. Auctions need to be a bit more regulated, to restore peoples confidence in the bidding process. If ebay operated like this, it would never have made a dime.

    As the seller is the owner of the item, he can ultimately do whatever he wants with it. As a buyer/bidder you can choose to participate in the auction or not to, depending on the conditions. If enough people stop participating in auctions with unreasonable terms (for some value of "unreasonable") - the sellers will have to adopt, as it would mean lost profits to them. I don't think this this needs any kind of external regulation. If you impose too much limits on the forums - they will just move elsewhere.

    My server isn't hosted by Citidel servers, it's hosted in our own data centre locally (We run a hosting company), I have direct access to walk up to it and rip it out of it's rack and throw it out of the nearest door. It's hosted on a dedicated Windows machine with remote desktop access, the other machine used to test is also a Windows dedicated machine and the 2 home computers used for more tests are Windows desktop PC's. All the settings are being set as standard via the usual launcher interface, I've also checked the databases to make sure the settings are sticking too in the wurmlogin.db. Friends and strangers using various Window's systems (7/10) are also reporting the same results on the standard installation of the Wurm Dedicated Server software. I 'could' edit it to add custom lairs, I could drop custom lairs around myself, however the litter of lairs is impractical and just makes for an extra special death when mauled together by a group of 6 spiders as they are often hunching up on the server, let alone one with lair traits such as champion, rather than the odd 1 or 2 you'd see every 10 tiles maybe in the forest that should be spawning. Treasure chests on the other hand, are entirely impractical if even possible to setup with a lair. Cave bugs and rats are also spawning on-deed in unusually high frequency. I have (with a completely reset map each time, no creatures at all to start with); Tried a raw-unedited newly installed version of Wurm Dedicated Server software; Stable and Beta. Disabled den's, to rule out den's causing it. Tweaked the non-aggressive hard cap right down. Tweaked the aggressive cap right up. Tweaked the non-aggressive down and aggressive up. Removed certain non-aggressives from the spawn table (very empty map). Tweaked the PERCENT_AGG_CREATURES amount, in all kinds of different directions (to no effect). Completely disabled all control for MAXCREATURES (endless spawning~). Tried setting the PERCENT_AGG_CREATURES to 180% (expected anything above 100 to crash, did not, why not, did in previous versions?). Tried 10k mobs vs 60k mobs. Tried changing the kingdom to 0. Tried changing the kingdom to 1, 2, 3, 4 ... 5 (expected 5 to crash, did not). Tried making it Epic. Tried alternate maps of various sizes. Tried adding various zone types. Tried setting up a fog zone to see if they spawn in that, it was terrifying, but again didn't work.

    WE RENOVATED AND ARE ACCEPTING VILLAGERS AGAIN! We are located just east of Summerholt starter town in the North East of Xanadu, G23 on the map. Follow the highway right to us! Check in with us at the Inn for some comfy beds, a drink at the bar or just to rest a moment along the way if you are just passing through Our Chef & Skiller kitchen is ready for you to pop in and make something tasty, or brush up on those cooking skills! Every adventurer needs to sharpen their sword! Pop into the Amish Anvil and handle all your smithing needs. What does the Estates all have to offer? We are recruiting players new and old! The Estates is a large deed with Guard towers for your safety, Workshops with forges, loom, spinning wheel, starting materials, free tools/armor. Kitchen with skilling forges set up, and community food (this kitchen is kept stocked with high quality meals to keep your nutrition up for skill gain). Farms with lots of animals to work your Animal Husbandry & farming skills. Altars of each god for prayers and sacrificing. A mine, Tar, Sand Pit, and Clay. The deed has been landscaped specifically to hold each type of wood in tree groves, available to all villagers for sprouting and cutting(Just remember to replant so it stays available). Hunting area near by, as well as coastal access & underground boat parking. The overall look of the deed is meant to be natural, and make each plot feel like its own little deed in the village. There is no work required to live on the deed. All that we ask is to help out your neighbors when they need, replenish/donate what you can to the public shops & be active. If you would like to help with deed upkeep, you are more than welcome to. Our vision for AE always has been to allow new players a safe place to dip their toes in and learn without the harsh world experience. We also love when long time players are returning and want a community, or even just a place to get back into the swing of things before deeding their own. If you decide to move on, or stop playing please just lets us know so your spot can be opened to another. If you plan to be gone longer than 30 days, but want to remain on the deed give us a heads up & it will be kept for you. Any player gone longer than 30 days with no notice will have anything left in their home donated back to the village, if there is anything of high value it will be kept in the storage unit for 60 days before being donated to the village. Because cleaning up left over carts, boats and locked items is a real pain it is appreciated that you keep this in mind. Amish Estates belongs to the NEXA Alliance. The alliance is mostly local, and very active. Many members of the alliance once started on the estates. Often there is jobs available to those looking to make a little silver while bringing up their skills. NEXA market & Sanctuary sits just east of the deed, and is open to all who want to sell their wares. Currently in the works is regular sermons for those looking to work a priest. The alliance has a discord server for those wishing to keep in contact outside of the game. There is always people on from the alliance as well as the deed in local daily, with plenty of veteran players to assist you with your questions. Amish Estates offers 2 living options ~ Option 1: Plot of land big enough to build a home with enough extra space for a small farm & animal pens secured by fences. ~ Option 2: A pre-built guest house to get you started while out looking at land to acquire of your own, includes a small fenced in yard. Some additional pictures of the deed We are currently working on the Estates Harbor on the north side of the deed to the north server line, it connects into our underground parking cave and into the Amish Creeks Canal. Spend a little time in the Amish Herbery, getting your hands dirty and enjoying the open air with the bees fluttering by! Sail into the underground shipyard parking through Amish Creeks, or from the north through our in progress Estates Harbor area. We're Going to the Chapel and we are gonna get prayin.. While most of us use the NEXA Market & Sanctuary for all our sermons, there is also an on deed church for your convenience of saccing and prayer if you are of a faith. If you aren't and want to be? We can help with that too! Grab a rake and work on the farm for yourself and the community in one of our 7 villager farms, or a small one on your plot. For those wanting to work Animal Husbandry, we have designated animal fields ready for your care! Rain, Snow or Shine - Estates Shipping Services is open to assist you in all your delivery and incoming good needs! Spend your days and nights on the dock, searching for that next big catch at the fish house! Deed Restrictions Digging - Is turned off to preserve the landscaping as it is. You are able to pack, pave, cultivate. Planning - We will plan your home base to your specifications and give you complete access of ownership while we hold the "writ". This allows us to be able to keep spaces open when players disappear.     Not a big bug, but found it when selling bunch of foraged items at token. When you sell iron rock at token, you get message: " [09:49:54] You break it down in little pieces and throw it away. " , like you discarded it from inventory. Not getting any coins in bank so it's not just wrong message. Selling iron rock triggers wrong action.

    Hi In current Wurm, tapestries and sword/axe displays are pretty much the only wall decorations we can make. However, game does not allow to put tapestry stand on same tile with a bed or another stand. "You cannot drop that item here, since there is not enough space in front of you." Is there a reason for this, other than "it's in the code"? Please let us decorate our walls behind beds!

    This has to do with the skill gain system in WU not being based on difficulty, unlike WO. In WO creating new items is usually not considered "difficult" so you gain a lot less skill from it. For some tips: Carpentry - Planks (they use 4kg of wood, but return 2kg as woodscrap and you'll need tons of them anyway) Woodcutting - Kindling from all the woodscrap you got from planks Blacksmithing - nails Weaponsmithing - arrow head (either type) Cloth tailoring - cotton strings Ropemaking - bowstrings Chain armour smithing - armour chains Stonecutting and masonry - whetstones... or bricks if you are planning to build from them anyway Shipbuilding - Belaying pin Leatherworking - Use all the crap ql leather you don't need to make leather strips (0.03 kg per), will still need to imp a lot but this makes it easier The other skills can also be leveled with creating items, but i haven't found anything small enough to be worth it. If you spend. Some skills you can create unfinished items and just dump them. Might be worth it for easier spamming using the creation window, but will use a ton of materials. Examples: Coalmaking - coal piles (log+kindling) Fine Carpentry - rope tools (plank+nail)

    This is the same type of thinking that got the new elevation map to "increase pvp". How's that working for you? Removing missions and/or uniques will not get players to move to elevation. Forcing your play style onto others, in hopes of increasing elevation population, will only cause you to find yourself playing alone.

    Hello, One thing bothers me since the beginning of Wurm Unlimited. Not all available animals that COULD spawn on one map do so. For example the whole range of home servers animals (example: Gorillas, Hyenas) dont spawn on my pvp Map without epic stuff. Also creatures that are in the game, but were never meant to spawn under normal circumstances, could be implemented like this... for example the zombies from the Halloween events and such... I would really like them to spawn in my world naturally without my doing. That also includes stuff like epic god sends this and that mobs... would like to have them naturally spawned. Also it would be great to have the uniques respawn set to 2 days or something like that, if someone does know how. Its not that I gank them every day ^^ Its just it takes forever for them to all spawn naturally and I really much prefer natural spawning and not placing them myself, thats too controlled for my taste. So... could it be made so, that all the creatures (or most) available do spawn naturally?

    Everything in Wurm changes quickly, but this was a labor of love as much as a desire to supply a new map. If they say it will remain updated, I have every faith they will follow through and if they can't for a time for any reason, I am sure they will ask some of us to pitch in. Pleased to see Retro put it in the News too. I love it when Indy works together in support and thanks for jobs well done! United we stand ... ;-)

    My forum account got accidentally permadeleted a couple of months back, and I lost over 2000 posts as well as my original 2011 join date. Could the same be done to Berris? If he lost the same number of posts he'd have a negative postcount, which would be cool. He'd finally look like the noob he really is.
