    It would be quite helpful to have a progress meter or some kind of indication to show how close a container is to being full. A meter could fit nicely across the top of a window on a wagon or boat or other volume based containers.

    Pretty simple suggestion, this would apply to Chaos only for now as it seems to be the only place people are pathetic enough to abuse alts to retarded extents. People from all kingdoms and sides know that alt abuse is stupid, pathetic, and downright annoying, and almost every kingdom currently does it. When an account dies more than once within 10 or 15 minutes, make them wait a minute or two before they are allowed to respawn again, and increase this every time they die, up to a maximum of one hour. This would mean that if you are a legit player who dies in PvP or near a deed, you are able to get right back into the action. Any legit player is also probably going to be more cautious, and take time getting back to the battle, so this likely wouldn't affect them in any way. But an alt, who dies say, 10 times within 5 minutes would end up with a 20 minute respawn timer. The exact times are of course subject to change and are just my basic speculation on this concept. Thoughts?

    Now that non premium players can start deeds this should happen. Code changes: 1. Allow non prem mayor owner to destroy walls. If they are paying for that land even tho they are not paying for premium they are paying to hold that land and shouldn't be barred by mechanics which was made prior to the new system. Before this was ok cause had to be premium to start a deed but now non prem are allowed to have deeds there for they should not be limited by Characteristics or skills which prevent them from doing any task a mayor has rights to. Like destroying walls on there deed with out x amount of skill. Please up date the system to allow a deed owner to destroy walls on there own deed.

    This suggestion should bring balance to the battlefield and stop champs stacking up arti's and bonuses ontop of already unbalanced damage reduction. Remove any bonuses a player has (for example, champ or sotg damage reduction, or any priest/karma abilities) whilst they are carrying an artifact. Artifacts already have great power, you should not be able to stack this ontop of any other bonuses. Discuss.

    Edit : I have bumped this as I think it is pertinent to the current balance issues with player deities. A solid system that groups certain spells and restrictions together might work well and allow for a much more balanced approach to player gods. Edit (2016 edition) : Self balancing player gods, self balancing new spell sets, whats not to like? Added in an extra example spirit for mag, again in no way asserting balance. This suggestion is a complete rework of the current faith system, hopefully keeping it lore friendly. Underneath each god there are spirits/angles/demons/whateveryouwantocallthem. Some spirits (my preferred term) serve multiple gods. Each spirit offers a certain set of spells and abilities in return for some restrictions, these abilities are linked to two factors : 1. Faith (gained by praying at alters to your god) 2. Devotion (see below) Devotion being a person's relationship with that spirit, how often they pray at alters dedicated to that spirit (alters dedicated to spirits generate no domain but can only be built in the domain of their god, they decay quickly if that domain is gone for too long), or perform tasks for that spirit (both small and large quests), breaking the rules of the spirit lowers devotion rather than faith. Higher level spells/abilities require both faith and devotion. Non-priests may achieve high devotion levels with their spirit (no cap for premium, 30 cap for ftp). One can make 1 (one) pact per 20 faith, revoking a pact loses the player 20 faith (and all devotion with that spirit of course). Nothing too big for a non-priest but enough to make priests really think about their choices. Each spirit is linked with a craft (or sometimes 2), non-priests will gain a decent experience bonus in this craft for having a pact with the spirit as long as they abide by the restriction put in place by the spirit (essentially bonus is based on devotion). Priests have this craft unlocked for them to follow as per normal, imping and all. Some spirits dislike one another, and pleasing one will upset the other if you have pacts with both (resulting in MUCH slower devotion gain and the inability to get to the highest levels of devotion). This is in place to balance overpowered combinations. When a player priests up they lose the ability to improve and continue constructions, however this is the only universal restriction set imposed. They also gain some "minor" spells of their god, bless and the like. They also gain any spells that their pacts allow them. Example Spirit : Whisp Gods : Fo Main Restriction : Inability to equip metal weapons. Craft : First Aid/Alchemy Bonuses : Increased healing rate in fo domain (>25 allows medium wounds to heal over time, >50 bad wounds, >75 serious wounds) Spells : Heal Light, Heal Medium, Heal Serious, Heal, Light of Fo (devotion >25 required as well as faith), Refresh, Life Transfer (devotion >50 required as well as faith) Example Spirit : Gnome Gods : Mag Main Restriction : -1 CR aboveground Craft : Weaponsmithing Bonuses : Increased CR on rock tiles (including underground) (+1 per 50 devotoin (max of +2 underground or +1 aboveground)) Spells : Magnaron's Shield, Goat Shape, Disintigrate (>25 devotion & faith), Strongwall (>50 devotion & faith) This is just an example spirit and in no way balanced. The pro of this is someone running a priest can choose how restricted they are, gaining more spells for the restrictions. Priests become a lot more personalized and faiths become more useful. It will allow devs to add new spellsets (new spirit) more easily. It will also move priests into the domain of mainable characters, still restricted and different, but with their own unique style of play. The con is that it is a HUGE change and balance will take a long time to set up. What do people think?

    To help magranon with his perceived lack of utility in terms of weapon enchants I propose the enchant called 'Magranons Tear'. The enchant would be the same cost and faith level as Rotting touch and would stack wounds in a similar fashion. The base damage would be water so as to make use of certain sorcerers vulnerability to water. On a successful hit to make it further unique it would have the signature sound effect of a baby crying. Thoughts?

    But that's the entire point behind money sinks, to cater to the people who don't have a lot of time but do have money. That's how the entire micro transaction scheme in the f2p genre works. If you can't be bothered to find a good vein, buy a Rod of transmutation. Need to travel somewhere by foot and back, but can't be bothered making both trips? Use a farwalker twig. Can't be bothered to maintain your items? Buy a magic chest. Can't be bothered to hire a mag priest to collapse a tile (or to wait for it to happen naturally)? Buy a shaker orb. Can't be bothered spending too much time grinding? Buy sleep powder. The entire game is already set up like this. So it being an anti-Wurm suggestion is a strange comment.

    if you die 5-10 times on a character you really should have a respawn timer. if you are a main and die that much you really do need the respawn timer to think how you will not die that much.

    Well we are not a very big community so we just know each other and who can be trusted. Also what are you suggesting here exactly you are wanting to start this or are you wanting the game developers to make one? Then the 1:03-1:27 in the video talks about extracting skills and selling them is that a second hidden suggestion?

    Honestly making timers will just mean people make more alts and cycle through them and even if they need to prem them that won't stop it as you see with the local list change. If you really want to stop people using alts in PvP just make it a bannable offense; but none of the bs rules that were in place before that were totally open to personal interpretation and were selectively enforced; just say there is zero logging in alternate characters in a PvP situation (unless it is your main character) or there is a reasonable explanation; ie; - Your deed is being attacked so you login a deed/writ holding account and don't make a nuisance of yourself (ie sits in the deed just adding people to writs/village) - The character is clearly not a alt; ie has a bunch of skills - if your deed is being raided you might login other peoples characters for various legitimate reasons and not know if it had lapsed it's premium. And to clear those who might have multiple characters for priest/crafting any character that has enough fs (20,5+) to pop death tabs is declared NOT A ALT; if someone wants to grind a alts fs and hand over free fs to the enemy I don't think anyone cares.

    Funny how my "pitiful sand-mound of a deed" took 23 people 2hours to raid and you guys now have more then 24 hours raiding it. lol Very pitiful indeed. =X Wait so pitiful that boatpassengeralt is swimming just outside the walls stealthed up and who knows how many other ones lol. There was more then "1 alt" with you guys and their is more then 1 alt you guys have dumped in our local now. The MR propaganda wheel is always in full spin, always, it never ends.     Except... it wasn't. That is a comment made after Rolf already implemented the +/- difficulty , he is simply suggesting it effect timers instead of the difficulty+random fail chance it had at the time. Noone suggested those penalties.

    It'd be really great to dress the guards, even if it made no difference to their actual armour / weapon stats. Just changing their models, like players, but putting stuff into their inventory. I want my tower guards to be able to wear the new hats too!

    As sterlingdragon has done for Release, I am hoping to do for Xanadu.I have a powerful server hosted in our datacenter and I have been running a mumble server for a bit now for other games so I am offering it to the community to use and if it works well here I have no issue with opening it to the entirety of wurm. For those of you who are not familiar, Mumble is a low latency, positional VoIP system that has very low resource usage and a good reputation for having high voice quality. You are welcome to use this server for other games all I ask is that you stick to the appropriate channels so we can keep the cross-game chatter to a minimum, if you do not have an appropriate channel, or would like your own private channel for your village or kingdom feel free to PM me, all members of the channel will need to be registered with the server for access to said private channel. CM/GMs and other community staff are welcome to help administrate the wurm sections of the server, please PM me to set up access if you like.     how about a new libila altar for pve servers that doesnt create micelium? so they are just like any other priests on pve servers. wouldnt that solve the problem?

    Well Ruger, we (MR) just sieged your pitiful sand-mound of a deed with 23 people, and only one MR account used in doing so was an alt. My mag priest Epicphail, actually, who is over 80FS and could hardly be called much of an "alt". (A fighter account that drops tabs and gear isn't really an alt in my opinion, at least not in this context) BL, on the other hand, had to use about 7 alts to "defend?" their deed... You weren't really accomplishing anything whatsoever but you sure managed to make 92083641298 corpses to LotD on us, still to no avail. +1 to this idea and +9001 to stopping alt abuse once and for all

    Well the map starts out at +5 so to make a 20 slope rise you need to set it as 25 or the 20 slope would only be a 15 really. What i do is before i do anything on height i use the area height on the bottom of the resize map thing to lower it all to 0 then start making my map. Edit: It would be nice if the +5 could just be labeled as 0 so we get the height separation from the water but without having to deal with the extra 5 slope in everything height we add.
