If rowboats can be loaded onto a larger ship, perhaps 1 on a Corb, 2 on a Cog, 3 on a Caravel. Then we can park our ships off-shore, unload a boat, and row to shore! This would make it easier to access shallow areas with large ships. Would be fun from a role-play perspective as well. Could even make PVP more interesting when a Caravel "mother-ship" pulls up and sends out a landing party just like in the pirate movies

Aaaaah', refreshing! A nice pint oh' mead. Wait a second, that isn't mead, it's just plain water, boo-hoo. Oats, barley and rye. Hops perhaps? How about a little honey? An apiary privides a sanctuary for bees. Bees produce honey. What do we make with honey? MEAD! That's right, good ole' fashioned beer! The beekeeper would: 1. Build an apiary (the wooden structure which attracts bees, protects them and provides a home for the honey comb they make). 2. Collect honey comb and extract the honey/royal jelly/beeswax. 3. With a little bit of patience, and using a table such as the one we use with dyes, certain types of meads/beer are produced in casks/barrels. 4a. Upon drinking mead, the body is rejuvenated (stamina replenished instantly; ~or~ 4b. Upon drinking mead, the body does away with fatigue better, therefore tasks such as digging allow for more actions without resting. 5. Honey can be made into sandwiches for quick and instant stamina boosts. 6. Honey is a very powerful salve and can be applied over wounds for quicker heal recovery. 7. Beeswax can be made into longer lasting candles or ultra lantern fuel. 8. Beeswax can be used along with various dyes/berries to produce paintings/art (a whole other topic and suggestion). 9. Beeswax can be used with fishing line/sewing thread to strengthen and preserve it. 10. Beeswax can be used in bowmaking. 11. Beeswax can be used for wax molds to build items (poured metals). 12. Pollen can be collected and dispersed on crops for better yield. An apiary/bee box could also provide a boost in crop yeild to surrounding crops, say, 1x more crop per harvest in a 10x10 tile area. Other uses include (exerpted and linked to Wikipedia: beeswax, propolis, pollen, and royal jelly and to pollinate crops. Please involve yourself in the 'discussion' and contribute to this idea and celebrate the making of mead! Thank you, R'

I defo think we should ask for a high FS mob that's a non-aggro (ent perhaps? Scaled down forest giant model?) to give some spice to fighters without harassing the passive players.

Part of the fun of Wurm is succeeding at those tasks in dangerous environments. I'm kind of disappointed by the lack of monsters.

Re-use the forest giant model, scale it down in size. Make it Valrei mob in power, would really love it if it dropped seryll lump like valrei mobs do to give PvE a chance at looting some, but it's not required. Pretty rare to spawn obviously. Having something that was relatively challenging to fight was fun, but it shouldn't be punishing to non-fighting players who couldn't stop trolls even with a templar helping.

After i climbed up and settled upon a very high mountain range i realized i had no reliable way to get down. So i did what any sensible madman would do and built an insane tunnel down the cliff: The tunnel (yellow line) is basically connecting the valley behind the otherwise impassable mountain range (red line) with the lakes-area north of summerholt, thus making landtravel between summerholt and the north-east coastal area possible. There is no road down from my place to the north yet, but it is possible to build one there (unlike on the other side). My own deed, Skywalker Terrace sits ontop of the cliff at the tunnel exit. The tunnel itself is finished and can be travelled, just needs a bit of smoothing and tweaking. Sideview, it is a loong way up. Bring a lantern and patience. And don't fall out of the "windows". Should you decide to make this trip, there is a payoff in the form of a fairly nice view: So if you need a passage over that mountain range, want to explore the mountains of the north-east or if you are just looking for a postcard view, feel free to visit Skywalker Terrace. I will offer pig catapulting at some point.

[09:51:18] You moor the "Princess Aurora" [22:06:25] Fishing increased by 0.000092 to 85.509583 [22:06:41] You raise the mooring anchor Keylia started with a 80ql rod, rod is now 61ql. 12hrs and 15 minutes spent fishing (minus some time for dinner preparations and eating). This is what she managed to catch: 4304.44kg of fish excluding weight for backpacks. The marlins alone are ~5000 fillets.

They were on Freedom two and a half years ago, it was fantastic - well for me at least who enjoyed the challenge of something more difficult than trolls that I killed afk. But there was a stupid amount of uproar, I don't think anyone could quite fathom the amount of /supports there were for GM's to help get rid of them or the amount of crying there was on the forum to remove them from Freedom because it was not the Epic cluster where they belonged or so it was said by Freedom. Never mind that Freedom is more than happy to take sorcery without the land scarring and deny Epic legendary titles despite taking the same time due to the curve enhancing the difficulty at higher levels while other skills are not effected by the curve/double gain at all. Gregory said it perfectly, Freedom is already cherry picking and lets face it, most just wont be able to cope. -1

Issue: Occasionally my Spirit Templar gets trapped in the mine. For some reason he can always get himself into a collapsed section, but cannot get himself out. Just today he went somewhere, that I have yet to find, to get an old cave bug. I searched everywhere to find him as he constantly spammed local, but never found him. At some point he finally killed the old cave bug and began spamming for a mature cave bug. Well, during my search to find him I killed 4 various cave bugs including the mature cave bug he must have been spamming about because he went silent after that. Suggestion: Templar Contract (non-drop form) or added to Guard Management tab This form could include the following options: Reset - The option to reset the Templar when he gets stuck. GM's would probably appreciate this. NPC Target Option List - Allows you to customize what NPCs that you want him to attack. This way you can focus him on the mobs that you cannot handle alone, and he will ignore the mobs that you can kill by yourself for the fight skill. One implementation option could be a list of NPC base types (i.e. cave bug, brown bear, lava spider) with a check box to kill. Another option, if there is an established fight skill grade for NPCs, would be to just have a drop down menu where you could assign a fight skill kill/ignore threshold.

Lemme tell you a little story: I was once a PvE player, living on Independence, milking my cows and having a jolly good ol' time. Then one day, the Empire of Mol Rehan invaded our peaceful lands and caused quite a ruckus. Instead of posting about it in the hopes that someone, somewhere decided to do something about it, I decided to take the fight to the source. Since then I have found a warm and inviting community in the Black Legion, quite unlike any village I have ever seen or been a part of on a PvE server. Everything I do here forwards a greater part of a whole, instead of grinding just to fuel more grinding. Unlike some other kingdoms that are active across the lands of Freedom we here at the Black Legion: Respect our initiates. Every soul here is a valued member of the community. Equip new players with the necessary tools of their chosen trade, be it fletching, plate smithing, animal husbandry, or fighting. Not create leud and harassing items on our rival's deeds. Only participate in unique hunts on other servers where it is open and we are directly invited by the majority player-base. Move towards enjoying the systems only available on Chaos to Freedomers. Work towards a singular, overreaching goal that makes Wurm a more satisfying game to play. There are also some marked benefits to choosing the Black Light over those goody-good White Lighters: Never eat again! Standing on Mycelium recovers both food and nutrition, so you can craft at maximum bonus all day! Be a priest on either server, or even both, and enjoy the benefits of each as you cross the borders back into PvE lands. Hang out with zombies! They are cool people too! So what are you waiting for? you're selling it on the freedom board, asking if people knows pvp? saying it would be a shame to see a freedom player having this "mighty" weapons? asking for a price check when you clearly have set the price in your head but hopes someone will offer you 2gold for it? insulting MR because this is MRs fault, always. priceless

Hardtack is a simple trail food made from flour/salt and water. We currently have no non-perishable food types in the game. My suggestion is allow hard tack to not rot while in inventories or merchants, with a max nutrition value of 75% at 100ql. The food would be a convenience item for travelers wanting to keep sustenance up, but would not jeopardize or replace meals otherwise. It would also give baking/milling and salt continuous utility. Rugs may have entertained people while new but seem unlikely to provide significant long-term use and current food mechanics make cooking more meals far more efficient than bothering to salt them. Baking/Milling are currently useless due to the ease of mass producing food bulk via farming mechanics, and this would provide a significant use to them without disrupting the current game balance. From wikipedia: Hardtack (or hard tack) is a simple type of cracker or biscuit, made from flour, water, and sometimes salt. Inexpensive and long-lasting, it was and is used for sustenance in the absence of perishable foods, commonly during long sea voyages and military campaigns.

As far as I know it's still broken. I spent in total probably 24hrs + game time while grinding mineing trying to enlighten Emoo with an account that has the ability without success. Very frustrating, yes I totally agree it is time this was fixed.

So basicly you want a "Get out of wilderness free card?" Meh, sounds like to me your just too lazy to spend the like one week it takes to get to decent FS, and some decent gear. -1 Seriously man... try playing the game and using the mechanics to make your character munch-proof.

Thanks for sending him back Valdor, sadly something seems to have gone wrong in shipment. The barrel was slightly damaged and he arrived in more parts than I would normally consider healthy. I tried to put him back together again but so far things I've tried, like attaching the tail to the hide, don't seem to work. Probably best if we just forget the whole thing. On a side note WTS horse bits, cheap.

Suggestion to add a larger version forge that takes 3 or 4 times the materials of a forge to make. It should also be graphically much larger than a forge to give forges a use in decorating homes. Make it medium->hard to start to build (30-40 skill?). Allow it to smelt 50 to 100 ore at the same time. Preferably more than less. (this is the BIG point in this). Please. -------- UPDATE: To outline what I've gotten out of the suggested improvements stated in this thread, - The smelter takes 30 to 40 skill to start and continue. - Serious amount of materials to build, up to 5 or 10 times the regular forge just to not make them mass produced. - 100 ores fit in it. - One per tile. - Graphically large. - Burns a lot of wood quickly. Some suggest up to a full 100 kg tree to fuel it completely. - Smelting time quality dependent, just as forges. Faster the higher the quality is.

No opinion on ent specifically but if higher FS non-aggro mobs are added then they should be coded in such a way that once you aggro them they don't drop aggro if you walk away 3 tiles. They should also be fairly fast. If you choose to aggro one you better be prepared to take a beat down if you're outclassed, otherwise there's really no risk, just a slightly more involved form of mining.

I stopped meditating after a week of getting 0 ticks from approx 8 meditates a day. Not a single tick for a week. It's just frustrating and far from fun. And when you know there are people with less meditating than you at the level 11 power on their path, it just makes the whole situation worse.
