Rolf, the biggest thing that I think you are missing here is that you have created no value or interest with this change. To you, this game is a job. To us, it's a game. Years ago, you agreed that on deed lamps should not use fuel after being filled once. You have now gone back on that. By itself that's not a big deal. However, all you did with this change is take away and give nothing in return. You have taken our time (the most valuable commodity in Wurm) and given us nothing. You are entitled to make whatever changes you like. It's your game. What's the next thing that you are going to re-implement that you agreed would be removed from the game in the past? Skill decay? You could still make this work, but you're going to have to give the players something in return for all the extra problems. Extra olives ain't it. There are a few different suggestions out there for ways to make this work. Some of them might even work. Pretty much the only guarantee you will get from the current implementation is that new smiths will find it far harder to create items people want (lamps were a large part of the new-smith trade) and the world is going to get a lot darker. I just don't see the benefit to going back on your word in order to add something to the game that only makes players angry.

I was originally starting this as a response or thread for a Wurm-related topic. Maybe in Town Square or City Hall or some other section. However -- it's rambling like a crazy wall-of-text, and I am starting to wonder if it is even Wurm related at all. Maybe it belongs someplace else, maybe it doesn't, maybe its just rambling with no sense to it. So I will just throw it here in Wood Scraps, and perhaps it will bury itself in a few day and die a clean natural death... .Anyway. I was thinking about starting a poll: Is Wurm Run (Amuck) By A Crazy Swede? Ja or Nej? It would certainly answer I think the question we all probably ask ourselves sometimes : Is he up drinking brännvin until 3 AM when he suddenly gets the itch to write some deviant and especially malicious code? Why does he do these things? Why did he do X, why did he not do Z, why does he waste his time on P, why does he not listen to his players -- after all, we are the one giving him our money! And if he doesn't knock it off and listen to us better, maybe we will just stop! It made me wonder about a lot of video games I played before. Wurm is very much my favorite, but I have games in the past that I liked very much, and ones that upset me very much. Sometimes upset me enough so that I quit them. And very often --- ones that I liked very much AND upset me very much!! As if those were related!! Anyway, in a lot of these games, people get passionate and there is always some drama and always someone (sometimes who deliberately provokes people) who brings up THAT phrase. "It's Just A Game" was always to me a very very stupid thing to say. That's like saying "It's Just Music" or "It's just An Emotion". Videogames are valuations, how we choose to spend our time, so to say it is not important is to say, how we are spending our time is stupid and not important. We should all be maybe in business school instead, because that is so much more serious and important. So we can all grow up to be succcessful and live in the suburbs in pretty little houses with manicured lawns. Anyway -- there are two kinds of devs I think of, when I think of games that affected me a lot (positive or negative). One is the "The Dev Is God" which mostly makes me think of early Everquest, when the devgods did not care if you were happy or not -- it is their world and you only are allowed to visit. If you died unfairly and lost everything you worked for, through some glitch that was not your fault .. well, life is not fair anyway. The other type of dev I think of, is the corporate dev, the marketing dev, the "games are a serious business" dev. These are the devs who run games as if they are a shoe store, carefully researching what their customer base wants, hiring good public relations so people will know they "care" about us. If they do not give the customer what the customer wants, the customer will stop shopping there. (Ironically, Everquest I and Everquest II are perhaps perfect examples of both types of devs. Gee Thanks SOE!) So ... does Rolf want to make money... or does he make Wurm for another reason? He is a pretty awful shoe salesman, is all I have to say. Maybe a crazy mad taxi driver is closer - and he has a bottle of brännvin in one hand. And we can come along for the ride if we like, but only he is the driver at the wheel. Now, mostly, I like where Wurm is going. So mostly, I am content to sit in the backseat and go along for the ride, not jumping up at every intersection to say "You should have turned there! You are driving too fast! Too slow! You almost hit that cat!" (Actually my poopsie darling would probably tell you that is EXACTLY the sort of "backseat" driver I am -- but neverimind that.) No other game goes where I want to go -- so I am "stuck" with Rolf the crazy Swede as the driver. I am sure it is just pure coincidence, this fact he does not listen at all to my advice, and the fact he is the only one driver that I ride with anymore these days.. Sometimes I wonder, if that first Wurmaggedon, when a supposed "mistake" ((oops!! Gee what happened there?!) wiped out the entire game world of Wurm and everyone-lost-everything, was actually just Rolf swerving to the side of the road and suddenly screaming, in angry Swedish curses -- "Get Out!! ALL OF YOU! Just GET OUT NOW!" And what if, one day, that crazy swede were to do that again? What a crazy driver. He should be happy we give him our money, he should be GRATEFUL we give him our shoestore advice. His business would be a lot more profitable if he listened to us! I dunno though ... maybe he hates working in a shoestore. Maybe he does not want to be As-Rich-As-A-Notch. Maybe he IS just crazy. Anyway -- Rolf upsets me a lot. I thought it was STUPID when he changed the lights, when he made trolls bash walls and let my animals loose, and cave bugs UTTERLY DESTROY mines and no way to fix them. And I am so glad I missed the most stupid 3AM drunk-on-brännvin decision, when he decided to open the PvE server to raids from PvP. About 10 other things are one my own personal "Well That Was Just Stupid, Rolf!" list. ((I still think a lot of them are stupid)). I check out other games sometimes -- myabe there is another one better suited? Not run by a crazy man who ignores his customers? Anyway -- none of them are Wurm. Some of them, interesting sandbox games with crafting and building and skillbased and everything-I-want, are apparently run by crazy powermad devs (somewehat like Rolf), except they refuse to even CONSIDER allowing a PvE server, they only allow full loot pvp and other gamebreakers for me. So, maybe I should feel a little grateful Rolf lets me hand him my money and have my PvE homestead. But ,.. some days I think I would rather get out and walk instead! And some days I do! But at the next intersection, I usually get back into the car, silent and sullen in the back seat. Crazy freaking swede. Pass me the brännvin, Rolf, then I am off for a nap to sleep this off. Luckily I am an old lady, so going out in public with disheveled hair and wrinkled hose is not as embarrassing as it might have been in my younger days. And -- watch the road. Please. Oh Dear god, you nearly hit that cat again.

Have you ever actually made olive oil? Collecting the olives is only half the work. Then there are the offdeed lamps used in tunnels. Then there's the simple fact that feeding your lamps is maintenance, not creation. Sandbox games are about creation (or destruction I suppose) but not about maintenance. I'll say again. 1) I have a Fo priest alt that can cast Wild Growth. 2) I have decent forestry and a 70+ QL sickle and a 80QL fruit press 3) I have a grand total of two lamps on my deed, and don't carry a lantern 4) I have two barrels of olive oil on hand right now With all of that, I'm positioned pretty well for this change. But I still think it's a bad idea. It might be MADE into a good idea with some additional changes, but as it is, it's simply more maintenance eating into people's creation time.

Rolf needs glasses. His vision is getting harder and harder to see. I'd like to know exactly how this is a step in the right direction, how it IMPROVES the game. All I see is another chore in the schedule if you want lights. I was here too when we got Rolf to make guards light the lamps and it was said then that it was the guards refilling the lamps, not magic. I always assumed that they gathered the oil themselves, just like they get the materials themselves to do repairs of buildings and fences. I was made to understand that is was the guards, not magic preventing decay. That is a big part of why we buy deeds, so minor maintenance is taken care of for us. The only reasons left for deeds are building maintenance and keeping folks out of your stuff. If Rolf makes us all start supplying the guards with building materials for repairs, then it will truly be too much. I come to play a game, not do more and more drudge chores just to get through the day. I myself will be letting the world go dark. My daily schedule is busy enough. It's not any laziness, I just have plenty to do already. Hope you enjoy the darkness.

I have liked a few of the "rager" posts in this thread, but I think this idea is ludicrous enough to warrant a post of my own, so here goes: This is the worst change so far this year. No, it doesn't top the cave-wrecking bugs of last year or the opening up of home servers to raiding back in 2009, but the fact that I think of the 2 worst decisions Rolf has ever made when I see this change tells me how bad it is. NOBODY has the time to harvest the olives needed to make the oil that will be required to fill all of the lamps in Wurm, and that doesn't even count the extraneous "I <3 Lamp" overlit deeds. I'm just talking about the lamps required to have decent vision at night on peoples deeds. Permalamps are one of the reasons I bought my first deed all those years ago, and are one of the reasons I still do almost all of my activities on deed. This change is highly counterproductive and turns a feature of the game into an annoyance. Really though, "annoyance" isn't the right word. Pain, chore, bashing my face into my keyboard, are all really more accurate, but still maybe not strong enough.

While I'll be the first to state everyone is entitled to an opinion, and to voice said opinion, this is a rather gross misrepresentation or at least oversimplification of upkeep. General maintenance is part of the upkeep costs as per the Deed text (I tend to not cite wiki's for obvious reasons). Included maintenance is only on walls and buildings, most objects (wells, beds, storage, and such) still need to be maintained. So we are already doing some general maintenance every week or so, in some cases days, on paid-for-deeds. As to running large deeds solo, I pay more than 10s a month in upkeep alone as my current deed size is 87x43 tiles as per the token information, of which almost every surface world tile is dedicated to what I want to do in Wurm. Make wine. Not SELL wine.. but make it. I maintain (currently) more than 400 grape plants on deed, and 200 maple to do this. After this next round of digging is completed, I'll have around 700 grapes on deed. Which I maintain by hand. That is how I want to play, just like you are free to play how you want within the same limits as everyone else. Stating I should not be able to solo a deed (of any size) implies several things, and most come back to, imply, or originate from a variation on a single point. You are unable to do so (or don't like this play style), so no one else should either. I don't know you, I don't know your situation, this is just how your comments read to me, and your comment, just as much as mine are, are generalized statements which I happen to feel are directed at me and those like me in this case. The rest of this post is directed to the community in general. How about this change be optional? In the deed settings make a toggle like they have done allowing people to pick up anything on the ground. For those who want the upkeep for their play style/immersion they can take on the additional overhead. To entice people to do so, make the "free" lamps have a max illumination value (maybe capped at ql 25-30) and require an increased initial oil (only) value, upkeep based lamps get full use of QL or even a bonus so they burn brighter and illuminate better. The off-deed infinite lamps/light was a bug and a separate issue, it was known as a bug, and has supposedly been addressed in this update. This can be solved without needing to revamp the on-deed light system. We have visual proof in the way that on-deed lights do turn on and off, we can assume the systems are able to determine on-deed vs off-deed as well as surface vs subterranean. That said, back to the fields with me... ::Edit:: - To clarify, honestly I'm neither for or against this change yet, while the bulk of my post was made in response to another post, my "change" suggestion is just one way I see to address a problem and still offer players the ability to choose how they want to play with merits and draw backs to either style.

I think the response in the other threads made general attitudes quite clear, and I don't see how such a polarised poll can help matters. For example I think its a good step to have templars fill lamps from a barrel, but I think it's a shame that barrel cannot be filled with tar, or some other solution as mentioned in the many threads. I also think it needs to be more though-out how mines and public tunnels etc are going to be affected by the change, and ways to deal with this. Essentially: my view is (as is often the case) rolf has rushed out something that just sprang to mind, without really considering the full implications. It's the kind of thing where if there were two or more people in the decision, one would have said "yeah it's an interesting concept, but have you thought about these 100 factors?"

I am considering returning to Wurm as a f2p and only do one thing every day: Cut down olive trees.

To people that love this idea, i'm sorry, but this is just Rolf back to his former, lets troll wurm players again. But this time with a small money grab. So basically, we go from a standpoint where you lights are refilled automagically (and don't tell me its a bug, since i've been seeing it pegged as one of the "perks" of having a deed since i've started playing 2 years ago) to one where the same happens but you have to harvest tons of olives, you'll have to hire a guard if you didn't have one, and you'll have to build yet another object into the game just for this single purpose. So yeah, where in any sane person's mind is this an improvement? Personally i refuse to hire a guard simply to fill lamps for me, nor will ni haver find time to harvest enough oil for all my lamps (even if i do have several olives in my deed, and space to plant more), i have way above 10 lamps just in my smallest deed. My largest deed has that many lamps just along its road. So yeah, forget about playing at night. Rolf spends too much time screwing up the player base and simply downgrading the game. Sadly this is nothing new the game is full of nonsensical decisions like the meditation answers being removed from the wiki and several other "fixing what isn't broken" ideas. I seriously doubt anyone happy with this patch has any idea the work behind getting enough olive oil for that, or even have any significant ammount of lamps. But whats more shocking is that lighting is ACTUALLY broken, and has been for ages. I have a whole line of tiles in my deed that if i stand on it the whole thing goes dark. And yet they "fix" auto-refilling. Way to go Rolf, small wonder you're not a zillionare like Notch. I know that just like with meditation, most of the community is pissed at this even if most aren't vocal in the forums, but you can see enough of the larger deed holders complaining to get a good idea of what this update means.

I guess what I don't understand is like there's still no bridges, multistory houses. There's still issues with Chaos + Epic and PvP in general. I am sure there's several bugs still unfixed especially with border crossings, at least on Epic, and of all things to focus on... it's lamps? I am not saying it's unimportant but of all things to focus on it seems rather trivial and needless. I never once seen any threads about lamps needing changes, so why out of the blue is there a change to them? It just seems very random. Now there's seven pages of discussion about lamps and oil of all things wrong with Wurm, this is dead dead dead dead last. You put tar in the lamp, light it. You use olive oil for compasses. This is basic simple stuff that worked perfectly a-okay. Why touch things that are not broken?

Q: Any chance of getting bridges by Xmas? A: Rolf: There is a chance, we'll see how big around November. Q: Will we see multi-story houses , and rooms within houses soon? A: MrBloodworth: I think you can refer to the bridges comment for that answer. They are related. A: Rolf: Yes I think so too. There's a chance. http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/14809-dev-chat-log-august-25th/ Then forward to the great ford implementation by Zcul entitled Unstick my cart Please let me Go on 19 march this year (Thread lost from blog during hacking problem) where Rolf stated he could finally "dedicate full time to the implementation of multi-story housing" Yet again all we see is updates to PVP , Nerfs (lamps, Breeding, Chanted grass and more), and consequential changes to existing things which have no relevance whatever to the addition of bridges nor multistory housing...... Ongoing since 2009.....3 years....... Soon? I need to know what the definition of soon is in Rolf's native language apparently....3 years is definately not the english definition of soon.....

dont forget that wurm is a 2D world in fact and there were(maybe still are) bugs with caves, where your cart gets stuck in the entrance or you loose your stuff inside when going outside or your game disconnects when entering a cave...and so on... bridges and multistory buildings are only possible in this game with a similar mechanic to caves BUT people would want borders and that everything is visible from the outside....honestly this is no easy work...and if i understand it correctly: rolf is a self learned programmer AND java is a ###### stupid language in my opinion (already worked with it) and even more difficult if you make a 3d like game with it... Also dont forget he has family and he needs money (dont think he is rich by now) so he has to do some other stuff while working on the "big project" everyone should know, that if you are working on something larger and maybe really frustrating, you need breaks or need to do other stuff inbetween to not loose it completely. Game developers are game developers because they LIKE to do what they do and players plays cause they wanna have fun....how funny would it be, when bugs are completely ignored(even if i know there are some bugs since years) and there would be no changes at all cause he is working on the big project the whole time? We would think that the game is lost....that he isnt doing anything.... sooooo....what do you prefer? honestly? A rolf who still haves fun continuing this game and makes some small changes inbetween? or would you want him to dissappear until he finished those "big projects"? and btw...dont forget that at the beginning, rolf wasnt the main coder and I can remember how hard it was (atleast what he told us) to go through a completely strange code from someone else...>.> a totally buggy and unsorted one...without comments and all lolz! I think we underestimate what rolf is doing ALOT!

Revert! If this lamp fuel change had been accompanied with other changes to maintain the ease of fueling lamps then It'd be different. I really dislike how the status quo is to nerf stuff, knowing full well it will anger many, and wait and see if the protest is great enough to justify spending time making a balancing fix. How hard is it to put something like this in city hall.... "Hi all, infinite fuel for lamps is a bug that we need to address. And while we're on the subject, tar was as never intended to be a long term fuel source (temporary quick fix that never got removed). We'd like to remove tar and fix the bug so lamps start consuming fuel again. I predict that lamps will need be filled every " x number of days". Feed back and some suggestions on how we can reduce fuel usage are welcome. Forever lamps is an easy solution but its one we just don't want to continue using."
  17. 1 point
Not only this. We should pay few coins for every kill templars did. Nooooo, Rolf do not push game this way, if you do not plan massive reduction of population in Wurm. You all swearing about olive oil and I understand why. I will not refill lamps, because I dislike when features magicaly turns to "bugs". Most of my places will turn to dark. It can be used in advertising, how nice dark places Wurm has Few days ago I did about hundred screenshots, mostly in evening and morning time. 10 of them was good lighted by tons of my lamps. Rest was useless for common public, because too dark. Only veteran Wurminas can see what was there. Even more dark will be now, great. I have different solution. I will use lamps to feed personal trader. Jewelry or lamps, who cares. Everywhere I need light I can build fenced tile with Hell horse and enchanted grass. Horses do not need to fill with oil every 3-5 days And only drawback is that stupid fire sound. It can be used on deed same as off deed. Bad thing, I can't place enchanted grass and fences in mines (personally I think it is bug, hehe )

Thank you for saying with humor what I would probably have tried to express with some less funny combination of sarcasm and anger. I was going to buy a gold coin and install a large chest and a silver vein at my deed but decided to buy Diabolo III instead and "get out of the taxi" for a few days.

I think it's ok for them to look "fawnish" - this is not a specific earth species of deer and especially not a north american version. In fact, I am wondering if it is mostly my fellow americans who are flustered by the spots since they don't seem to match adult deer in OUR region of the world. But spotted adult deer are in fact VERY common outside of North America. From India, the Philippines, right into Europe and Asia, spotted deer are a very common species worldwide. Some examples of real life spotted deer: http://wes1015.wordp...e-spotted-deer/ http://www.allaboute...-sparks-debate/ Fallow Deer (Dama dama) Europe, Asia Minor and Iran. Close relative, the Persian fallow deer (Dama mesopotamica) western Asia – larger body size and antlers. Fallow deer occur in 4 basic color variations – “commonâ€, “menilâ€, “melanistic†and “whiteâ€. All have white spots on their backs (though sometimes very faint) and white rumps/tails with black tips. http://www.iloveindi.../axis-deer.html Axis Deer, also known as Chital Deer or Spotted Deer, is the native animal of the Indian subcontinent. It is found very commonly in India and is one of the most beautiful animals in the country. Czech spotted deer: I say -- KEEP THE SPOTS! They look nice that way! And they ARE realistic!! They just aren't North American deer, is all

That is Jan 2012....Wikki was changed back in April 2010 to state that When planted on a deed street lamps will need to be filled only once and will be automatically lit during night. Off deed lamps will stay lit until out of fuel. Far before the post on a "bug" which you provided the link to above.....Which btw is speaking of OFF DEED infinate lamps.......
  22. 1 point
I guess my biggest problem is that this was never considered a bug until Rolf called it a bug in this week's updates. When we requested that spirit guards light the lamps at night and turn them off at daylight, Rolf added the feature that they would auto-fill the lamps as they lit them. It was called a feature, not a bug. It has always been a part of the reason to buy a deed, so you did not have to do the maintenance of the lamps yourself. Just like the guards auto-maintain the buildings and fences, and we don't have to supply them materials for that. I've always assumed that the guards gather their own materials somehow. But with this change I wonder how much farther Rolf wants to go. Will we soon have to keep a supply of planks, bricks, logs, and stone around so the guards can do the other maintenance? I'm all for realism to a point, as long as it makes the game for enjoyable. Give me more work to do just to supply the guards with oil they used to collect themselves and I will protest. After all, I do pay the guards, they need to earn their pay.

Hi, Has anybody called for this nerf? Does it do any good but by repelling even more long time paying customers? I don't understand. I see new premiums (with deeds) around our place leaving in short cycles, and the cycles are becoming shorter and shorter. They place a deed in their initial enthusiasm, we usually do our best to help them getting going, as long as they behave like nice ppl. Usually now they drop at the second unavoidable nerf; Some times ago, they held for longer, they held for 3 or 5 of these. And we few old players never loose hope anyway, no matter how much we get nerfed into oblivion. It's a quite harmless nerf. We'll have to swallow the toad, we made ourselves responsible for the Kinoss Bay Canal, our own fault that we're in trouble now. Not only repairing/ imping the many, many lamps there planted for your convenience, but having to refill them more often is, for certain, a major contribution to our enjoyment of the game. But, Rolf, there's a limit. We're paying ~EUR 15 each month, often more, for our Freedom chars. And we feel robbed, and ignored, and just [treated in an unjust way] by you, more and more. One day this will have an end, and this day isn't in the so far future anymore. My best wishes for your child, may it rise and prosper, but maybe you'd finally realize that money doesn't grow on trees? Wurm is, IMHO, a great game, one of the best ever made. But it is getting wasted by the very own makers. Will you ever realize that nobody but a few freaks cares at all about your precious PvP? All PvP servers together don't even match the numbers of the smallest PvE server ... Will you ever realize where the money comes from that buys your burgers, and your baby's pampers? TBH, I have lost confidence. And I may drop my money elsewhere, other game company's have nice games, too. Wurm is pure awesomeness, but your constant nerfing is making it a pain. Plz xCuse if I'm too aggressive. It just makes me angry to see getting a reasonable part of my virtual life [messed] up, cannot help. Cannot somebody rescue Wurm from Rolf? Don't you see that you're destroying what you have built in this many years? Enjoy yourselves! PS: Post edited due to request. Bad words replaced by less offensive terms in [brackets]. And one sentence added at the end.

Yeah see thats a bit confusing. The Tumblr thing is more like a commentary about a update on that last page. The patches need to be clear and use a more bullet type format like used in some of the other ones. It really needs to be on the launcher right up front like it used to be so people will know what the changes are instead of hunting through blogs. Here in Wurm due to changes having dire effects causing players untold losses they have to be easily seen. That bottom link just sends you to the dev blog which has other topics there as well and require digging through to find updates. We just need a proper patch page and format for it.

I'll add some more specifics. Speed cap limits for different configurations are as follows: 1. Rider on horse and leading a loaded pack animal. Speed limited by the slower of the two animals. 2. Small cart pulled by single is limited by the slower of the horse's normal pulling speed or the player's foot speed. 3. Large cart would be limited by the slower of the two horse's normal pulling speed or the player's foot speed. --Pack animals should hold about a rafts worth of goods. And for weight in general I like how weight has no effect on a draft animal pulling speed. Its not realistic but still something I'd like to see continue. --We can normally lead 3 animals. It doesn't seem right to lead around 3 pack animals and especially 3 large carts. --I think the hitched small cart should go pretty quick since its comparatively small, say 15 km with a wild horse. A F2P could lead a single horse pulling a small cart, but not a large cart. Encourage folks to get premium and limits the use of throwaway F2P alts. --Could we please fix the excessive stamina drain when riding/embarked? Comparatively, stamina drain for a certain time span should result in (listed highest to least) this ranking: walking, riding, driving. And driving should be almost nothing. I'm guessing a pvp issue caused the high driving drain so Wurm doesn't become cart combat online, regardless its annoying. Forgot things. There are some different combination that folks would likely try. For example, go hunting on horse back and lead a two horse hitched large cart behind. If speed was limited by the slower of either ridden horse or draft animals then it should work. In this case you'd almost always be limited by the cart's speed. And a totally wacky idea. If a 2 horse hitched large cart can essentially follow a person, could other hitched large carts follow other carts....A TRAIN!

Let's do some math. Let's say you have 10 lamps on a deed. This is not an unreasonable number to light up an 11x11 deed and perhaps a mine under it. Lamps require .125 kg of oil or tar to fill. I'm assuming that hasn't been changed, please correct me if it has. An olive gives .06kg of oil. A lamp therefore requires around 2 olives to fill completely. The ten lamps in the example would require 20 olives. Let's give this the benefit of the doubt and put the time a full lamp remains lit at 5 days. That means every month you (or the guards) would have to refill them 6 times. The example deed would therefore have to harvest 20 times 6 or 120 olives a month to keep the oil barrel full enough to fill 10 lamps. So your choices are to harvest 120 olives every month or to manually refill them. In some regions this would be incredibly difficult as there aren't many olive trees around. Either reduce the amount of oil required to fill a lamp substantially or increase the amount of time lamps remain lit. This is a large nerf to deeds after people have gotten used to the convenience of not having to refill their lamps.

Process raw tar. Raw tar needs processing in a " Tar Processing unit " ( new ) to be of any use. Tar processing unit ( similar to a forge but smaller and without a chimney, needs a couldron in construction ) is fueled by burning 20kg wood for cooking the raw tar into the following products From each 1kg of tar processed you get .50 tar pitch ( for ship building ), .25 carbon black oxide ( ingrediant for making ink and black paint/dye ), and .25 tar oil ( for using as lamp oil and general oil paint base. This tar oil will replace water, and water based colors will only be used as a dye for wood, leather and cloth items ). Also, mixing any dye on a 1 for 1 basis with clay makes a glaze that can be applied to clay items and fired resulting in a colored pottery item.

Hi, Id love this, in case if it would made accessible to Freemiums. This way they'd be to a limited use for me, and I could pay them for work, without being forced to "donate". Atm any Freemium cannot do anything for me. That I cannot do faster, better, with less hassle. This might help the game, so +1. Have fun!

You're saying you play games to make money? To point 1 - it's a player created economy, It would be absurd for Rolf to create a system to just pump money into the game (like a trader that will always buy items from you), people wuld just make enough money every month to pay for their premium and Rolf would never get any money again. I agree the mechanics for buying and selling could be improved, but from what you're saying, that doesn't sound like what you meant. Point 2 - Who gets this tax, why's it there, what's it doing? Point 3 - It's quite infuriating enough to move at snails pace when you run out of food and fat layers and be prevented from doing most actions. This is a game. Causing people to die when food reaches 0 is not fun. Especially for newer players who often find it very hard to keep well fed when really they want to be spending their time exploring and raising other vital skills. Point 4 - Already happens. Point 5 - This already happens too.
