Because when it worked that way it lead to bugs with withdrawing from bins for which you had no permission. A bug they couldn't resolve so they had to disable it.

Given BSB/FSB functionality, I think a depressed key while dragging and dropping would work better, but if a take keybind worked, well, +1 to that too.
